Disclaimer: I have only played a bit of GoW 2018, seen gameplay footage by watching a lot of lore videos about GoW 2018 & Ragnarok and perused the wiki extensively. I'm also vaguely familiar with the actual Norse mythos, so if I've gotten some details wrong, please correct me.

Anybody else notice that there are absolutely no small, domestic cats in GoW and GoW Ragnarok? But there are ravens in 7 of the 9 realms?

Sure there are feline and feline-like beasts in both games but there are no cats. None.

In Norse mythology, cats are associated with Freya. Her chariot is pulled by two big ones. Not only were they in a lot of Norse households but kittens were given as a customary gift to a newlywed bride on her wedding day. And both games take place long after Odin and Freya's divorce.

My TL;DR assumption,

Odin, you petty af rat bastard.

Now I know that there are clear game development reasons as to why they weren't included. Random cats are harder to render than birds. So is have NPCs and the player characters interacting with them.

But you can't tell me that Odin wouldn't make sure he'd wiped away every remnant of Freya being mentioned, all symbology relating to her and places where she was worshipped throughout all the realms from existence. Look at the way he cursed her and locked down their wedding temple. Given how much of a manipulator and narcissist Odin is, he didn't just go scorched earth after she escaped him, he tried to redefine what it meant in doing so. He nearly wiped out the Giants, eradicating the cats would've been like an afterthought to him.

And yeah, I know Mimir, practically nobody in all 9 realms, not even Faye with Kratos, mentions anything about the cats being missing. It's most likely a looked over detail but hey, if Freya can lock away memories in someone's mind like she did to Mimir about Baldur's weakness to mistletoe in the 2018 game, I have no doubt that Odin can do the same thing on a much larger scale given his power and influence.

Batfam x reader who bites, like affectionately bites them. The bites don't hurt, and it mostly on the arms, like when they are sitting down, the reader just goes now and lightly bites them because they have an oral fixation

I can only imagine a cat biting softly, just like... Num. Hence the gif. Also, this is short and essentially a drabble because I'm mentally exhausted at this point by school. Last year of high school is hell. My apologies anon, but I can't write a word more.

(Y/N) has been around the family since he was 3 years old. His brothers loved him a lot and would never fight in front of him. Also, never yelled at him and never cursed in front of him. So, the environment was without any sort of violence and that's what Bruce strived for.

Alongside the others of course.

Now, (Y/N) was 5 years old and a gem in Bruce's eyes. Bruce will often deny the fact that he has a favorite, but (Y/N) is truly a great child. A gem. A behaved boy.

But... One thing is that he bites.

Not in an aggressive type of way, oh no. It was to show affection. A weird way, but still, a way to show affection none the less. He started that behavior at 4 and the boys have all sported marks on their arms, since they are often on the couch and arms are easy to reach.

Jason compared (Y/N) to a cat who likes to bite, but not to hard. Almost playfully.

Also, it was Jason who often joked that (Y/N) would need something in his mouth when he grows up.

Bruce spit his water out first time when he heard it. Dick sighed, Tim rolled his eyes and Damian out right scoffed. And also smacked the back of Jason's head.

" We all know it will happen when he is a teen. " Jason simply mumbled, glaring at Damian.

Even now, when they are all sitting on the couch, (Y/N) was nibbling at they arms. Bruce was the first target of the soft nibbles. Just softly nibbling away. Bruce smiled at that and has just allowed it to happen.

He is really a little cat. Everyone smiled at the sight of (Y/N) just nibbling away.
