Strange hot peppers season has started! The purple ones are the NuMex April Fool’s Day. I have no idea what the curly one are - I haven’t sown any that were supposed to look like this - but I’ll take them.

NuMex April Fool’s Day Hot Pepper. The only transplant that survived out of 3, if I remember correctly. Still pretty small but I love them.

May I ask what pepper varieties you grew this year? :D
The sweet peppers varieties I grew this year are mostly Kapia and Pimento. They’re some of the most popular varieties here and to me the most flavorful and sweet, especially the Kapia. I also grew a few Black and Purple Bell peppers, even though I don’t really like bell peppers (kind of only did it for the colors :D). Oh and Black Kapia and Black Hungarian.
As for hot peppers: Bell Chilli, NuMex April Fool’s Day, Peter peppers, Fish, Roundel, Round Rainbow and a lot of a local variety I don’t know the name of.

As I’ve had problems starting pepper seeds in the past few years, I decided to sow them at my apartment this time and this is the result. I’m now stuck inside with all these pepper plants. Luckily I had some extra soil left and a few nursery pots and I was able to transplant the bigger ones. Finding plates for all of them was quite difficult though. They should be good to go in the garden in a few weeks, but who knows when I’ll be able to go there and transplant them.
There are Peter peppers, Fish, Roundel, NuMex April Fool’s Day, Round Rainbow, Bell Chilli, Black Kapia, Black Bell and Black Hungarian. The only ones that didn’t sprout were the Purple Bell peppers.

Someone stop me. I found some super cheap seeds online and this is the result:
Black Corn, Glass Gem Corn, Oaxacan Green Corn, Seneca Red Stalker Corn, Red Strawberry Popcorn, Yard Long Beans, Purple Yard Long Beans, Purple Peas, Snake Gourd, Purple Asparagus, Purple Kale, Romanesco Broccoli, NuMex April Fool’s Day Hot Pepper, Purple Sweet Pepper, Black Sweet Pepper and Cucamelon.
There’s also this organic farmers association here and every late February/March they release an online heirloom seed catalog from which you can pick 5 varieties and receive them for free, so from them I’m waiting for Lemon Basil, Cisneros Grande Tomatillo, Loofah, Rainbow Chard and Giant Tomato.
I don’t even know when I’ll be able to go home and sow them, but at least they’re here.
