In episode 2x05, I noticed that this was the only time Carmy was himself at the party. It was like a scene from a romantic movie where the lead character stares at the love interest and falls in love. However, this moment had another meaning. It could reveal what Carmy looks for in a partner. What he loved about this moment was that Claire cared for and comforted her friend during her darkest moments.

In episode 2x09, Carmy does something beautiful for Sydney (without the touching,though I'm sure he was tempted) his actions were pure and genuine. Carmy admires Sydney's caring nature, and he wants to hold onto it dearly. He craves tenderness and compassion, and he craves to give that back to Sydney.

Right before kanji is introduced is when you start getting close to nanako and it makes me think the kindness and gentleness Yu experiences between the both of them helps him interact with each of them and have such a sweet relationship with them god I love how sensitivity is an important part of p4 and how being able to have compassion for another is important and a gift and I think nanako and kanji are the best parts of that for Yu they’re so sweet <3

To add to what has been said here: Both Calliope and Juliette are fighting a war within themselves when it comes to nature VS nurture and spirit VS identity. The difference is though that Juliette has already chosen her path: she’s chosen the path of the heart. Cal thinks she has chosen her path but actually she hasn’t because her chosen path does not match up with what her gut instinct tells her. That was the main theme of episode 3 remember. Gut instinct. Cal’s gut should guide her and it would if expectation of ‘self’ wasn’t in the way of it. She has to choose HER path. And if her chosen path truly was to be the best monster hunter there ever was - Juliette wouldn’t be the “monster” that continuously pulls her away from that chosen path by simply following her chosen path. Cal’s challenge is overcoming self-expectation and gratification. She needs to start listening to her gut. Juliette’s challenge is overcoming her naivety that everyone has her best interests at heart. They don’t. And unfortunately that also includes Calliope but only because Calliope is also quite lost herself in who she is. I would imagine their reconciliation would include overcoming these individual and personal challenges. I cannot see a future for them together if they don’t.

Practice Compassion

Relationships are fragile, even within families. They need to be nurtured and cared for with the utmost of attention. I haven’t always known this. Many times I’ve been blunt saying what I thought, giving a piece of my mind— because I was correct……hahahaha. Oh to go back and zip my lip at the appropriate time, instead of blabbing. Everyone probably has felt this way at some point in their history.

Seeing the family relationships and the ensuing hurts is heartbreaking. I humbly bow my knee and thank God for answering prayers, keeping those “little foxes”—could’ve been broken relationships— from breaking.

One mother cries because there’s no peace within her adult children. Often they strike out at her, not wanting anything to do with her anymore, because they feel she favors one over the other. How can you solace someone who hasn’t raised their children to know the Lord, now taking blame for all the unhappiness in the family.

Under my breath I was praying for God’s wisdom. It came in the strangest way. Genesis 4:1NLT “Later Cain suggested to his brother, Abel, "Let's go out into the fields." And while they were there, Cain attacked and killed his brother.” God created Adam and Eve— sinless, wearing His glory as a covering. Adam chose to sin and learned about sin in Genesis 3. Then came God’s grandchildren, Cain and Able. One chose to follow the Lord’s way. But the other chose rebellion to instructions, murder and total severing of relationship with God. If sin so captured the hearts of God’s first children and grandchildren, what makes us think our families will be different?

Love is the only salvation of any relationship. Friendships, blood kinfolk, even marriage relationships can be broken, damaged, severed and lost. I always told my family, ‘friends come and go with age and stages of life. The only relationship which lasts a lifetime is bloodline relationships. That family member will always be your bloodline. Nurture with immediate forgiveness, before being asked, humbly serve a lavish platter of love without remembering hurts or making demands.’ Jesus said it like this, John 13:34NIV “A new command I give you. Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.” Mark 11:25KJV “…when ye stand praying forgive, if ye have ought against any; that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.” With Paul expounding on what Christ said, Ephesians 4:32 “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.”

Society doesn’t track this way. Instead, most people are angry, hating, demanding, selfish, unforgiving and downright sinful. People don’t know how to react to love. Time and again, I’ve offered love just to find the recipient didn’t know how to reciprocate, or react. Their reactions were that of unbelief.

Wouldn’t life be great if we’d all practice compassion, and forgiveness? When a spoken word offends, an action hurts becoming “little foxes” going into the field of relationships, left unchecked they will destroy the vineyard or field. We must attack the “little foxes” with love and forgiveness immediately. Don’t allow them to grow and take over. It’s your choice. You choose.

LET’S PRAY: Lord God help us to choose both forgiveness and love quickly. Help us to overcome natural sinful reactions with purposeful actions according to Your Word, in the name of Jesus Christ I pray.

ㅤbyan is just some kid — an orphan on the streets of gotham city. in their (almost) eighteen years of life, they've been through orphanages, group homes, foster homes, homeless shelters, and straight up lived on the streets. the city is harsh, but they've learned how to adapt & withstand it.

ㅤthese days, they've fled any shelter that leaves them under the control of someone else and that tries to shove them into normal, well-adjusted society. instead, they've found an abandoned apartment building in one of the more rundown parts of the city and made themself at home inside one of the units. the structural integrity of the place is admittedly a bit questionable, but they haven't had any serious issues so far.

ㅤthey're technically enrolled in one of the city's high schools, but it's been months since they've turned up to attend class. no one's really looked for them all that hard since they up and disappeared.

ㅤunsurprisingly, they engage in a lot of criminal activity. most of it is on the pettier side — theft, trespassing, breaking & entering — but occasionally they'll do a little arson too. as a treat.

ㅤthey pretty much survive by stealing what they need wherever they can, but they'll also steal non-necessities just for fun.

ㅤyou can definitely pay them to steal something for you. not anything crazy, mind you — they don't do heists, just regular everyday burglary. they're not the easiest to work with, but they are pretty low-key.

ㅤfor the most part, byan is smart enough to try to avoid on stepping on the toes of any of the higher level, more powerful criminals. ...but they are pretty reckless and tend to get themselves into a fair amount of trouble there anyway.
