To the NLOG anon:

I had written a long piece but lost it, so the gist of it is that bullies are social chameleons. They will always try to find a way to get away with bullying while claiming to be the victims. And many of the "bad" NLOGs were girls looking for ways to recreate the status quo with them at the top instead.

I think that NLOGs were a natural result of the post 9/11 conservative paranoia of "anyone who is not a good American™ is a Satanic Menace to Society" (where good American meant white, christian, affluent, thin, conventionally attractive, straight...and everybody else, from foreigners, fat people, anyone gender non conforming or even alternative people were "planning the downfall of civilization"). In that climate, harassment towards "the weird" was not only tolerated but encouraged as the moral thing to do.

And the thing is, if you are ostracized from society but discouraged to learn about feminism and such, then it's no wonder that your only way of defending yourself is by using the same attacks used against you!

The big change here I think came with the recession where suddenly society became fascinated with the weird, and being a hipster or a nerdy girl was "acceptable" (hence the "golden years" of Tumblr). Many of the bullies who had gained notoriety thanks to their privilege suddenly realised they couldn't get away with it as talk about discrimination and feminism was becoming more commonplace, and so many people adopted NLOG looks and attitudes to keep doing society approved bullying.

Nowadays tho you don't see many NLOGs because, like you said, we either know better now and have deconstructed ourselves or simply because in this era of "bring back bullying" most people don't need to hide behind underprivileged people to harass someone. If they want to hate on other women they can just become a tradwife/high value woman and go back to the conservative politics of the 2000s or they can pick a bit of #girlbossfeminism while going back to their hyper feminine roots to claim *throws dice* that you have to like pink or you have internalised misogyny and that you should just try to fit into the mold, for your own good, you know.

So yeah, those who want to oppress will find a way to do so under any costume, while being the loudest and sidelining the rest of us. There's nothing to do about it, unfortunately :(

But the actual phrase "not like the other girls" rose to prominence to point out how fucking obnoxious a class of book is for its heroine who is always like "I don't want to stay home and do needlework!" and then the book is set in some era when rich ladies are supposed to be running an entire manor house or something, not just embroider, and the author has blatantly missed all of that. Or it's some Anita Blake bullshit where the heroine hates literally every other woman, and especially all of them with blond hair because the author is insecure and bugfuck nuts.

It's a specific dumb trope in fiction and term in criticism of that dumb trope.

honestly the first character since furina i feel this determine to pull on. although unlike with furina, I won't be trying to go for e6 on him. they're not bad, but I don't think they're worth pulling for in comparison to other things, esp since they integrated his OG e1 into his base kit (the only thing e1 does is give a little crdmg and shield; not bad, but it's not like, amazing. lc over his e1, or save that e1 5* for someone with a bonkers e1 like Ruan Mei). and e2 is nice for ratio teams, but also...i feel like it should've also been able to apply with his fua as well....like again they're not bad, but I think one should only pull for his eidolons if they're truly down bad, or have $2000 just sitting there. his e6 is fucking broken tho, but it's an e6, so no surprises there (basically gets a free 150% dmg bonus; sure technically he needs shield teammates, but when you're at e6 this bitch will never give you up and throw away his shield srsly wtf my guy)

and i do have to be honest...his LC is really good on him, no doubt his BiS (and before you go to Trend of Universal Market, no, his LC is way better at debuff application than it. Gepard's LC is his 2nd best lc tho), but you should consider which teams you want to run with him. this LC shoots up in value if you're planning to build a fua team with him, as I am doing with ratio-aven-topaz. However, if you're really wanting to commit to this team, these are priorities (in order excluding Robin, since she's still not properly released)

Robin (like RM she buffs the whole team, and seems to be really good as a premium FUA harmony like RM was to DoT teams; although RM is still really good, since she can apply debuffs for ratio. Tho frankly, I think both RM and Robin are REALLY good for DoT teams and you can use them pretty interchangeably. RM's delay lets more DoT trigger, as does Robin's action advance; RM's dmg boost and be increases DoT, Robin's ATK and dmg boost scales with all DoTs; RM gives free speed, robin action advances whole team with ult; honestly it's a bit of a tough call, and I'm sure there'll be a lot of theorycrafting and stuff. but with boothill and a general increase of break effect focused units, I'm sure RM will be implemented in those teams) ok now that I think about it she might not be the penultimate fua harmony lmao

Topaz s1 or e1. I think s1 is a bit better, but do whichever one is cheaper for you (which...would likely be s1, since weapon banner has lower pity lmao)

Ratio LC. It's fucking ridiculous AND THERE'S AN EMOTIONAL SUPPORT DUCK. DO IT FOR THE DUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!

So Aven LC is not bad, as it boosts his and his team's dmg by 12% from what I've seen, and it helps him reach the full 4k def to max out his crate passive, but you should be aware of other priorities if you are going for a fua team. esp since its effect allows him to act as a better subdps and enables ratio and topaz, effectively giving the team THREE subdps (and you're getting dmg from a SUSTAIN. sustains usually contribute to only 5% of the team's dmg, but aven has been able to go up to 12-18% alone, which is pretty nuts). as for me...i am lacking a topaz and ratio lc. But I am pulling for Aven's LC because I love love love this man hey in fact did you know I have saved up ~308 pulls saved up hahahahahhahahahahahahahahahaha and it would've been ~378 if I wasn't such a kafka believer (and also because it was, um. cheaper than going for an acheron team....😅)

ultimately, although aven has sub-dps capabilities, most people should prioritize his sustain first, I think. if you want him as a sub dps, then you should go for his LC. I'm personally going to try out a 2pc salsatto + 2pc pioneer + 2pc knights, and then go for a 4pc pioneer + 2pc salsatto to get extra *spicy.* I will be running def boots on him, but go for speed boots if you want him to generate more SP (but also note that he has like. 106 SPD at base, which is as fast as asta & yukong for reference). tho if you run spd boots, you would prob have to run a def body and 2pc belobog.

however, 4pc knight is never a bad idea. But don't farm too hard for a 4pc; I just have a lot of knights pieces from when I was farming Kafka artifacts pre-Prisoner set. you can really just run something like 2pc knights and then flex the remaining slots. the two remaining slots could just be rainbow artifacts with a lot of def or crdmg. or maybe something like 2pc pioneer for dmg (ONLY IF YOU HAVE A DEBUFFER THO, OTHERWISE RUN 2PC DUKE OR 2PC BANDIT), 2pc guards for his own dmg reduction (but 2pc guard is really awful for him since it does. basically nothing for him), 2pc hackerspace for spd.

planar sets are a lot easier. salsatto for dmg, broken keel is always good and he won't have any issue proccing its effect because of the insane amount of eff res he provides, and belobog (but only if you're really struggling hitting his 4000 def requirement). maybe you can run signoia on him too? but only in pure fiction, and even then it's better you prioritize it on your dps (and also survivability isn't as important in pure fiction as it is in MoC; you probably should only run aven if you're really struggling to kill the enemies. if you are having issues with survivability tho, I actually do recommend running 4pc guard on your supports, if you have any lying around after farming the quantum domain. the guard set is rlly niche, but when it works it really works. it's the only reason I was able to 36* last moc, since my team on the second half consisted of ratio, tingyun, pela, and fire MC (my lynx and natasha couldn't keep up with their healing, and can't apply debuffs like fire MC can w/ taunt or universal market))

anyways, that's all i have for nerding out about aventurine. I will be maxing out his traces (relatively. his basic atk is useless as fuck, so L bozo) and laying at his feet. wish me luck in my pulls.

to start off, yes while anita can't hear julia's thoughts but can hear mortum's thoughts, they normally don't listening in especially in a happy ending au situation where they don't need to anymore... except mortum, once she gotten over it and soon trust neets to never probe without permission, did she started to drop subtle flirting thoughts sometimes tipped with flirt tone that had gotten neets to feel warm in their face. sometimes it involved science. that only both neets and mortum knew. mortum knew terms that could make anita wanting to groan and slam their head against the desk.

jules think it was unfair but enjoyed watching that, and while she can't really just tease neets through that, jules still get to make neets feel warm- where mortum is all words from thoughts and whispers from ears, julia is all about physical touches and just a very blunt compliment that can drive neets nuts and get warmer even

so yeah, and if you combined both...

'ah. i got them going. huh.'

she still sometimes come by to watch them do experiment, sometimes she just listens to their convos until she falls asleep which took notice by neets or mortum and one of them would put a blanket over her, and yeah, they all just. sleep in the workshop. they're all mess, even when mortum became more comfortable to be relaxed and just 'its okay to be messy.'

can't hold a proper conversation without getting frustrated by our opposite povs. from what I've seen, INTJs, although realistic, can be the worst of pessimists and will never miss an opportunity to rain on a sunny outlook. drives me nuts. huff.

aside from that, there is a certain kind of understanding that we have. with my case, it could be that having a similar past in depression, anxiety and an eating disorder brought me and my INTJ together in a very unique way.

frankly, INTJs will see (most) ESFPs as way too much, and will avoid them if they can. (I'm a 9 so this doesn't technically apply to me :P)

very often, ESFPs will find the INTJ's social oblivion hard to manage, but if it's the right mood for a philosophical discussion, they might surprise you.

surprise, surprise, we can talk about other things besides shopping and drinking. crazy, I know.

I think ESFPs overall respect INTJs and who they are as people, seeing that they're brainy, nerdy, quirky, clever, awkward, even kind and sweet and so much more; its a rewarding experience, getting to know an INTJ

I hope that the INTJs out there have a healthy, mature ESFP to experience the world with. being Ni dominant seems like you can easily get lost in the sauce of horrible scenarios and inevitable panic and I believe an Se dom is the perfect person to widen the outlook and make the physical work seem less scary I guess.

I truly think the types can bring the best out of their opposites, if both parties are willing to try.

TOH Dump: Wittebane Names

The Wittebane bunch have always made me curious when it came to a few things;

1. Family history. HUMAN family history. 2. The lifes of the brothers between their childhood times and getting stuck in the Boiling Isles. 3. Their names.

Here are some name meanings, found for you via nerdy old me;

Philip = Fond of Horses Belos = Lord Caleb = Faithful Hunter = Someone who Hunts (obviously) Wittebane = “Witte” // White or The White One, “Bane” // Glorious Defender Flapjack = “Pancake” (”Flap” refers to tossing a pancake)

I have analysed them in the given order :)) “Belos” makes a lot of sense, but “Philip” in the context of its meaning seems a bit strange. Unless, that is, you take a closer look. Horses in the Bible (considering that Philip and Caleb would’ve been Christian) symbolized war, power - power as a leader/king - and physical power/strength. And, well, EMPEROR BELOS. Also I find it kinda interesting how horses are usually seen as companions to humans, the ones helping out with travel and all, and then there goes Philip making a bunch of buddies (aka Grimwalkers) to help him out when he became Belos.

“Caleb” does make sense if you think of it as faith to morals and not completely to religious teachings, considering that - with the information we have - it seems likely that he dated a witch, or at least befriended one at some point. The Bible, although at the time used as a guide for literally everything, also taught morals - and of course, morals vary between person to person. Caleb going against what he was most likely taught since birth doesn’t seem as unlikely considering that he spent more of his life in the Boiling Isles than Philip (considering the age gap), and all in all seems to be a lot more open personality-wise (from what we know). Also, just as a side note, it is possible that Hunter got his overly-curious and nerdy nature from Caleb - but again, it’s just a thought.

“Hunter”... I mean, Philip (and Caleb, for a certain time) are/were literally WITCH HUNTERS. Also, Hunter seems like he was forced to run errands for Belos a ton (think back to the episode where he literally FLIES OUT OF THE BOILING SEA [I still have so many questions, those ingredients really made him invincible to the heat of smth]), so I guess that kinda counts as hunting. Hunting also usually involves clear, simple-step, organized goals and ways of acting; which match with the entire “golden guard” thing pretty well if you ask me.

“Wittebane” is technically two names merged together; “Witte” and “bane”, and if you merge the meanings into a proper English sentence, you get “The white, glorious defender” - which seems pretty 16th-century-vibes to me. This makes me wonder if the Wittebane family (as in Philip and Calebs’ elders) would’ve been army-related, or possibly directly related to the entire “kill the witches/people possessed by the devil” thing going on back then - you know, since “saving everyone from that one person possessed by the devil” seems to match the “defender of everyone” job description.

“Flapjack” being another term for “pancake” is pretty light hearted, and kind of funny considering that literally EVERYTHING ELSE about the Wittebanes’ is depresso-expresso in some way. I guess the only thing I can really say about this is that pancakes got their name in the 15th century, so yes, Philip and Caleb were probably pancake-crazy - oh, maple syrup also existed, so let’s hope they had/enjoyed good food before getting into the “eating-fairies” diet.

To sum things up; the Wittebane names are interesting to a certain degree (in my opinion). I hope we learn more about them, and how Philip and Caleb literally got a statue of themselves back in Luz’ home town (probably where they came from, hope Hunter doesn’t go nuts in S3 [more than he already has, that is]).

I hope you didn’t die from my rant, enjoy the next 24 hours. (P.S: plz give me angst food)

In my opinion, we should publicly shame any grifting loser who wants to treat the furry Fandom like its a "cash grab" "money making" machine for their get rich schemes. I hope everyone who doesn't see the undeniable dedication and talent to creating artwork a very "FUCK YOU AND SUCK MY NUTS".

They will be so shocked to know not only does it take talent to get popular (something many of these people lack) but it also takes a lot of work to get yourself out there, just to be dealt with the cruel, harsh insecurities and stress that commissions have.

Even for popular artists, or more niche ones like me who get to sit with clients describing in full detail what they want just to ghost you! And then boom! All of your finances are out of wack due to that one person, and you have to scramble. Or perhaps your queue is too big, you're overloaded and stressed. Sometimes, owing one artwork feels like a thousand to your anxiety. If you want to branch out and make merch, your options are limited, and you won't pay a profit if simply no one buys it.

It's absolutely lovely how this absolute basement dwelling creature thinks we, our fellow artists, commissioners, character designers, and makers are just quick cash grabs. We are starving artists trying to survive, our prices are almost always below what they should actually be. Our talent is not something for you to exploit for fun, nor are our clients for you to mock and ridicule for their ultimately harmless fictional interests in a dog who talks.

GET GOOD!!!!!! HAVE SOME JOY IN THE AWESOME (AND SCARY) SHIT WE MAKE AS ARTISTS. No more need to make fun of your clients for their passion in animals they talk, you probably like something just as nerdy!!!!

This isn't exactly a relationship problem in the traditional sense of the term but I suppose you're probably the only person that could help me out with this.

My girlfriend got warped into a nerdy slob, has been for a while now. It's something that we both learned to embrace, she loves how she is now, and as a nerdy guy myself its great for us to be able to connect on that kinda stuff now. The slobbiness was a little harder to get used to but I've come to enjoy it as well.

The problem is my friends and family. Formerly our friends. They think I'm nuts, they avoid her like the plague now (saying she smells like the plague too) and I can understand why to an extent but with the way they talk about her like she's a brand new person. Which I think we both know is complete bull. My parents have always been "TF-Phobic" if that's a term, after my sister had been turned into a cougar they outright stopped inviting her to family events, eventually she took the hint and basically only talks to me now.

Of course, when they realized my brilliant sexy hiker girlfriend now enjoyed a nice evening of anime, video games and greasy, salty chips, they freaked out. I predict that if I still plan on marrying her my sister may very well be my best man (or best woman I guess lol).

My friends are just being jerks about it, thinking it's a fetish thing no matter how much i tell them otherwise and even suggest I'm happy she's been changed in the first place! Similar ribs and a general reluctance to let her come to our usual hangouts paint a pretty clear picture to me.

No idea how my girlfriend's old friend group are dealing with her changes but she doesn't seem too bothered about it. I met some of her new gaming/anime buddies online and they're nice enough.

So this is what I'm dealing with, I guess as a shrink you probably hear about stupid woes like this all the time, hope I'm not bothering you with this. I suppose I'd just appreciate some thoughts on all this. Thank you so much for taking the time to read all this. I hope you're having better luck with your own issues.

I’m sorry your friends and family have chosen to treat you and her like this. I’m also happy to hear your relationship was able to survive the change, I know that takes a lot of work, and dedication, so good for both of you.

I don’t really have a magic way to convince them to become more tolerant and inclusive. You can only stand up for yourself and clearly communicate that their comments towards you and your girlfriend are hurtful, and if they value you in their lives they’ll stop it immediately.

If they can’t respect your request, and boundaries then it’s time to drop em’. Easier said than done, but hopefully it won’t come to that. If you make your boundaries clear, then I find people will generally respect them.

Besides that your girlfriend has already found a new group of friends, and you’ve got your sister, so it’s not like you’ll be stranded on an island if you do cut these toxic elements out of your life.

And just know you’re not the only person to go through this. Couples have been battling with their communities since the dawn of time to be with who they want. You’ll survive and make the best decision for you and your partner.

This Heathers AU functions as a stealth crossover with Stranger Things, but not in a way one would think. In contrast to what I’ve heard described as “MOAR EPIC”, the Stranger Things aspect is limited mostly to vague descriptions and flashbacks to Hawkins, Indiana mentioned by JD and Dan.

Veronica and the others can’t get a straight answer out of the two boys, as they look horrified and conflicted, and try to side step the matter.

It’s pretty clear whatever happened there traumatized them to Veronica, and she wonders if whatever happened is what might also be affecting JD’s rapidly deteriorating mental health.

She is right in the end, as what little Veronica is able to glean from them is they encountered … something… Something dangerous, something that has killed and will kill again. It appears JD’s proficiency in guns evolved from this encounter, while Dan is fairly handy with a croquet mallet.

Veronica: Oh you play croquet? Dan: 🙂 Oh once. -flashes back at trying to hit the Demogorgon in the face, but he just pisses it off and he gets scratched/thrown off- I wasn’t very good at it. 🙃

Dan and JD both have unusual, slashmark like scars on their bodies from this encounter. Veronica first discovers them on JD when she breaks into his room to have sex when she was a “dead girl walking”. When asked, JD just mentions the Russians to her confusion. She passes it off as big talk at first until Dan ALSO mentions Russians in a similar context, and Veronica knows Dan doesn’t exaggerate….

Dan’s scars were discovered when he and JD were changing in the locker room for gym, and Kurt drew attention to them. Thrash mused the two “gay boys” must REALLY like it rough, to JD’s annoyance, but Dan attempted to defuse the moment by blaming it on a kitchen accident at Hawkins High home economics.

Dan: You should see how nuts this guy goes on pasta, -fake laugh-!

JD: -hesitantly- Uhhh yeah… I uh was making this umm lasagna and I screwed up the oven by … accident and blew up the kitchen… Sent me and Danny boy flying like ALF did in that one episode…

Ram: -guffaws- Oh I remember that episode, that was fuckin’ funny! -gets a look shot at him by Thrash- …Uh I mean… -hesitantly points at Dan and JD- Homos!

Only when Dan and JD are talking amongst themselves does the picture become a little clearer: they had been caught up in the conflict with the Upside Down and were directly fighting a Demogorgon and its offshoots along with unscrupulous adults meddling inbetween. They apparently were staked by a “Super Demogorgon”, because of an association with Will Byers and they only had six weeks to deal with it before JD moved away. They managed to take care of it in four with the help of El, and Dan unexpectedly moved away in the fifth to JD’s shock.

How JD and Dan originally meant is also vague. The most both are willing to say is that Dan made the first move, and JD was impressed at his insistence, although JD only refers to Dan as a “friendly acquaintance” up until he has his mental breakdown at Sherwood and acknowledges Dan as one of his friends going forward.

Dan, Will and Dustin knew each other, with JD being involved by association to his chagrin at the time. Towards the end of the Westerberg adventure, Veronica is surprised to learn Dan knew Will, as she and him are distant cousins, but never really hears from that side of the family much. She is relieved to know Will was ok, at least to Dan’s last recollection, as she was aware something was going on with him but wasn’t clear on the details.

While both JD and Dan were affected by their time at Hawkins poorly, Dan managed to keep himself mostly composed. While he does genuinely love his nerdy hobbies, his constant reading of comics when he’s alone is something of a coping mechanism, something to keep his mind occupied so he doesn’t think of the Upside Down. Even with JD, he tries not to bring it up much unless JD brings up an old “war memory” first.

Character itch?

Have you ever read books or fanfiction or watch shows or movies but wanted a character somewhere in the story that would scratch that itch for a certain character, a certain archetype or just someone you could relate too?

For example, they were kind, smart, like book smart/street smart, they were level headed, grounded and could adapt to any situation or any character, they are not attractive like very pretty, but like homely, something from like cottage core or royal, like they look nice, but they don't look gorgeous. They know people, they are well to do, they love things that are nerdy or geeky but also athletic somewhat, like a master of trades or interests.

As adults, they are good at what they do, they kind of act as mentors or helpers to the characters, they help out in ways they can and they keep situation for going nuts.

As youth, they are the cool kid, they exist in their own thing, but they know people and people like them and know and they help out as needed.

if they have sibling as they older, they kind help out, if they are middle and younger they dance to the beat of their own drum.

With the five man band, they adapt to the different roles, like leader they are more likely to speak out against them and make the leader really think, or the lancer where their more of a friend.

If they have a lover, they treat their partner as an equal, if they have kids they love them and treat as kids and are there.

If they are female, they are like Ruth Bader Ginsberg or some other influential female of the past.

If they are male, they are like Mr. Rogers or some other influential male of the past.

if they are anything in between, they are like Chevalier d'Eon or others.

in a fantastical setting, they have sort of strictness mixed with compassion, they know what's going on. they feel old even if they look young

in a more realistic setting, they are just doing their own thing and they say something nice that changes how a character acts. They feel like they lived a thousand lives

The character is plain, they kind of are a Mary/Gary Sue but they have moments that give pieces of a story, but we don't know what it is, but we know there is something going on. Then the antagonist reveals the story or helps the character reveal the story of the character and it starts out happy and then its sad because the character had to deal with some sort of trauma or feeling of inadequacy or just put them in a bad place and they tell the characters what happened and it is sad, but they also, not overcome it, but used it to fuel the good they want to do and they made a promise to work towards being the best they can, they still have bad days, moments their old life haunts them, but they learned to use it their advantage. They are the person they wanted to help them out.

They help the protagonist and they are there in the life even when everything is over.

If they die before the story is over, they still have someway that they help the protagonist and the protagonist honors that character by emulating that character or if they are a fantasy sci-fi setting, the character does still comeback, but they are a guide, a guardian, a god, they are a bigger then life force.

Like yeah, that's character I would to see in storytelling, a kind wise character who is so good from so bad and they keep their head because they know reacting will either make it worse, or make it better, but they know they have to be smart and characters IQ goes up when this character is around to direct them. like they feel like a real person, but they also feel bigger then the story.

hokay so life got so busy after submission I only get to sit down and do some art work now. I've done a couple doodles and got a new sticker I've made for work! On payday I'm gonna order up some new frog stickers too, I need to make a couple more designs for the froggy stickers too~ I'm leaning mango and cherries or banana.

Today I wanna start doing the Tox Sculpt I've been wanting to do, maybe some doodles too to keep it fresh. I'll be returning to my game making in a couple weeks as I've not had time to just rest. The pain has been pretty bad this month because I've been so active with IRL work and appointments and such. I did get to go to MCM London which is nice, maybe one day I'll run a stall there!! To do that though I need to produce more physical merch and currently I only really have my stickers. Maybe I'll reboot my ETSY shop once I've made a small inventory.

I got a little distracted over lunch and ended up chatting for an hour, time to get into it! Curse you talking with my friends, ADHD and DIY youtube videos. I started by slapping down the bipedal frame with ZSpheres, they always look a little goofy. I had made a frame prior but I was unhappy with it. After I had laid the base Zspheres down, I turned off symmetry and began altering the ZSpheres, allowing me to pose is asymmetrically and start blocking out some features. I was easily able to build the finer hand details by adjusting the "draw size" of the brush! It is a little fiddly and bulbous at this stage, but shaping will come in time. One of my beardies is going nuts today, all I can hear is her surfing whilst I'm working.

The ZSphere skeleton has been made into an Adaptive Skin using dynaMesh Resolution 96 to preserve the finger shapes. I duplicated it and then I Zremeshed it to help lower the poly count, as it is easier to build shape in lower polys, then subdivide for more detail later on. The fingers are still a little warped, but it's the best option without going into insane detail for just the base. It will do! Time to start building up some shapes. I'm going to start with the hand as its the area I'm most concerned about.

I'm also pretty happy to be blogging my process like this, I found it annoying at university as it does cut into my modeling time - however now I'm doing it optionally its helping me understand and think through the process a little more. Plus I don't need to keep several files on my pc or be very academic about it either, I can just jot down my thoughts post and go.

I've thickened the fingers and started shaping the hand, I'm going to block out the body some more before subdividing. It looks chunky and awful like chewed gum, but refinement will come later.

I'm thinking about making more physical merchandise to sell. I might sit down and make like, an inventory goal, review products I have and how they are made - then think of new products and how to make them. Including some good sellers like prints of existing properties, or nerdy merch like different chibi lizards as different DND classes and stuff.

I've reached a point with this sculpt where I've got a good base shape down. I'm going to pause doing this for now and move onto doing some 2D work.

I was very lucky to be born in 1990 cause I got to experience the tail end of Turtlemania which lasted until the mid-90s, I think. I love general nerdy things, I'm coming into it more as an adult with an almost fully developed brain than I did as a teen. Although, y'all should be glad I wasn't here when I was 13. Had a serious Doctor Who phase. It was bad. Here's an obligatory list of things I am interested in and love learning about

Movies:

I'm a huge James Bond nut. Hence M.

I like DC better than marvel. Harley quinn is my queen.

Marvel is cool tho. Don't get me wrong. I find DC more fascinating at the moment. Just how it's going. I love DC villians 🥰

TV:

Umbrella Academy is my favorite non animated TV show. I've also been into Doctor Who, lie to me, TURN Washington Spies, broadchurch stuff like that. I don't watch TV often. The animated Harley Quinn series is frickin hilarious. I like family guy and south park on occasions.

Anime:

I came into anime when I was 18 after my fiancé begged me to watch it. I was very late to the party & I regret being stubborn!!!!

Favorite is Tokyo Ghoul. Its not going anywhere anytime soon. It's frickin amazing. Juzo is my favorite character (hence my header) I love everything about it and if you let me I'll never shut up about it.

Others I've seen are: Demon Slayer, MHA, place to place, FMA: Brotherhood (1st one)

I'm currently attempting to watch Naruto and overcome years of oppressed cringe to it. Be patient with me. Pls.

Books:

Not as big of a reader as I used to be, but I am always open to suggestions!! Might be trying to read the Percy Jackson series for the first time soon (bfs fave series) so we'll see! I like design-related books & mental health topics too.

Other interests:

I'm a little bit spicy but you won't see anything like that on here🪶😚🌶 I love psychology & mental health, I love history (Fiancé was a history major), I like Journaling and crafting and anything art 🎨
