Dark Horse

Who are your dark horses for this season?

A lot of people assume TDA Vegas top 3 will include Sylviewinn, Savannah and Stella. Im surprised that I havent seen Lucias name mentioned much. I think Lucia should definitely be in there. Perhaps even as a frontrunner. But I am also surprised that I havent seen anyone really talk about Madisyn Amos. She was top 10 last year and is only getting stronger. She also had a top 3 finals solo last year which proved she can do more than just jazz.

I think the juniors need to look out for Mika Takase. She is my dark horse this season. Not for best dancer. Just as someone who I dont htink a lot of poeple are looking out for. Mika had a good season last year but came out swinging this year with wins over some top contenders. I think Anita Rodriguez will surprise some people in Orlando. I think Stars has a shot at having a first year Junior take teh title two years in a row.

solitaire:

female (she/her)

is the Day to Aster’s Night

Slightly smaller than Aster but. Still Big

her assigned duty is to monitor human activity during the day and report any issues, threats, and etc to Nebula

mainly hangs out with Aster and sees him has her Cool Older Bro

unlike Aster tho she is Very social and talkative and has a lot of spunk and picks up on human habits and patterns Very quickly

also unlike Aster she allows her Living Innards to run around freely so she can talk to and gossip with them bc it’s not like she has anybody else to really talk to lol

similar to Aster she is able to travel the entire world quickly and efficiently

can harness and wean sunlight into deadly weaponry if need be

has a fragment of the daytime sky in her mask

calamity:

yes (any pronouns are fine, but usually referred to as they/them)

was originally charged with controlling the weather (which they really struggled with), but was eventually changed to fending off natural disasters after Nuvo was discovered

is the oldest of the HoN, being the very first one born and the second life created by Nebula after Pangea 

around the same size as Aster (aka, huge)

tries to play themselves off as Edgy And Aloof but actually has a lot of hidden insecurities and this causes them to be Really moody and withdrawn

was tasked with finding the source of a massive blizzard (as they found that they were unable to control it) and was the one who located Nuvo

very rarely ever talks to the other HoN (including Nebula) and only really likes being around Nuvo

has a piece of a tempest in their mask

assigned duty is to control the weather (which was a role originally given to Calamity)

THE Smallest NoH; about 30+ of her could ride on Aster’s back And she likes to play in the meadow on Botany’s back

is an adult dog like the others but is just Very Teeny

in fact Nuvo is So tiny that Nebula was unaware that she’d even created her and as a result Nuvo got lost and bc she was only two seconds old and the world is Too Big her sadness and fear caused a violent deadly blizzard to flare up worldwide until Calamity found and saved her

she’s Very powerful but her small size causes her to have to go into Reboot Mode after using her powers for an extended period of time, which causes the weather to temporarily be out of control until she recovers (which is the main reason natural disasters happen)

hangs out with Calamity the most and serves has their Proud Emotional Support And External Happy Side

is a total sweetheart and is Everyone’s best friend by default. Even Yours

has a piece of a cloudy sky in her mask

botany:

male (he/him)

assigned with maintaining plant life of all kinds

around the same size as Solitaire

stays in forests and keeps to himself

goes into Sleep Mode during the winter

has flowers and misc plants growing from his body and his mask; is most known for the meadow of flowers growing on his back

he lets Nuvo play in said meadow from time to time

plants grow from his front footprints and his back ones can revive dead ones

is kinda smug and a bit of a smartass (Aster is like the Primary target of his snark) but. Is Overall Nice And Funny

in a deep one-sided rivalry with rabbits. he doesn’t hate them or hurt them but he’s just tired of them eating off his back all the time like little fuzzy freeloaders
