i joked about how i was relieved that so many of the barbie movie promotional collections were ugly and bad bc it saved me money but also like. what does it say that basically every promotional thing ive seen so far that wasnt prohibitively expensive to a solid chunk of people (like the aldo collection or that carpeting thing) is so boring and hideous bc they know people will buy it

#ough i dont knowww how to explain how i learned though #i just. started doing eyeliner #looked at SOME tutorials and then just did it every day or whatever. slowly got better #then eventually i got into other makeup too like eyeshadow! and just by practice i figured out how to do that #it helps a LOT to look at pics of cool makeup and just try to emulate that #my fave eyeshadow palette to use is uhhh.. nyx mystic petals. the one w the purple n pinks #i'd say the biggest thing rly RLY is to just do it. youre gonna be bad at the start but then eventually youll get better n better #for more advanced looks make sure to really look closely at what WORKS and what doesnt. #asks
