Thinking abt just how emotional Mutant Mayhem really is at its core. Thinking abt how Mutant Mayhem actually addresses how emotionally hurtful it is for the turtles to be considered monsters. Thinking abt how it knows they’re just kids. More than any other version of tmnt yet
(This is messy lmao sorry guys)

What's your response towards people who say that Sound of Freedom is a Qanon conspiracy theory movie and the O.U.R. and your fundraiser is a scam
I wrote a very, very angry response to this ask that I'm just gonna leave in the tags...it's past my bedtime.

Informing on your misinformation pt1
Tumblr media
For context, this is a video from shoeonhead titled; 'I watched the "sound of freedom" because the media told me not to' and here, she hearts a comment of somebody claiming that the author of the rolling stone article shes shown in her video is the same person that gave cuties a positive review. Heres the rolling stone article;
Tumblr media
Heres the person who made it
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Here is the person who made the cuties review
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And if you try to theorize that their the same person with different accounts, here's what miles klee looks like;
Tumblr media Tumblr media
See you can already tell the difference that makes them not the same. The rolling stone has only made two cuties reviews, one is what i shown while the other is by Ej dickson;
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Now she actually did made an article of sound of freedom
Tumblr media
However, that was not what shoeonhead showed in her video, it was only miles klee's one and from what i seen, he never even talked about cuties (otherwise other articles slamming the rolling stone on their take on cuties wouldve mentioned an article that he wrote on just like with david fear and ej dickson). You can also see how ej and miles presents differently, with miles being more persuasive, giving in their personal take on the movie while ejs are more discursive, discussing of anti trafficking experts opinion on the movie instead of her own.
This only took me a couple of minutes to google into btw, it is not hard to double fact check yourself before spreading this

Hi, Look this'll be the last Qanon post for today I PWOMISE
Firstly, if you want to understand the roots of Qanon, see:
youtube
The TLDR of note is that since Qanon is a online cult with no real borders or actual goals they congealed from the melted slag that was a mixture of Flat earthers, anti-science astrologists and more. Additionally, this fluid nature means that as Qanon has rapidly collapsed, they've just went elsewhere after Jan 6.
I've stopped tracking them to any length over the last few months, but a lot of them have entered further parasocial relationships via:
Elon Musk worship
Far-right propagandists like Nick Fuentes
Returned to their roots with people like Jordan Peterson or Tucker Carlson
Begun disassociating and forming their own bizarre cults (See: The Queen of Canada)
If you are curious for some reason, I'd recommend Qanon Anonymous for this particular brand of mental unwellness. I'd not recommend it as Qanon as a cult has killed people and gotten a lot of people to forever ruin their lives...but it can be very funny, and the podcast is very entertaining and well made.
Do you want to de-radicalize someone? See below.
Finally, this is the best advice I can give you for trying to get to someone whose been convinced of something like this. You can try to look up online resources but that will only bring you so far.
Basic tips:
Don't give them the answer, give them questions about what they believe and the people they believe and then provide answers
Undermine the people they've formed parasocial relationships with
Don't humor them. Make it extremely clear that their own actions are the reason for any alienation or negative responses. Repeatedly state the obvious.
4. Leave them with questions to think over.
5. Know you're unlikely to succeed. If you don't interrupt their radicalization early, they can reach a point where nothing will ever break the illusion. See Alpalus Slyman

Tim Ballard, the former CEO of Operation Underground Railroad and the real person involved in the real events that The Sound of Freedom was based on, has a new way for people to get involved helping save children.
He calls this the “scaleable approach”, one that doesn’t put all the weight on one organization or strategy for rescuing children. The SPEAR Fund is designed to provide funding to organizations that demonstrate they are the most successful at rescuing children from trafficking.
He said on TimcastIRL last night that he wants “every kid to have the best rescue.” He acknowledges that O.U.R. can’t save every kid, and wants to empower more organizations to do this work.
I expect to see more details come out soon about what this looks like, but for now you can click the link above to learn more and to donate - especially if you’ve watched Sound of Freedom and came out of the theater thinking “I need to do something.”
Also, check out last night’s TimcastIRL episode for a lot of great in-depth discussion of the film and to hear Tim Ballard talk about some of the real stories behind what you saw in the film.
(And if you haven’t seen it yet, know that there are spoilers!)

Operation Underground Railroad
“When you see people that exploit and abuse children… they appear to be very friendly, very safe. That’s what scares me.”
It can be hard to identify people that exploit and abuse children. That’s why O.U.R. Operators are out there. To find and bring justice to abusers.

Hey look it's a scam
Tumblr media
Sound of Freedom and O.U.R are both 100% a Qanon lie and you shouldn't trust anyone who claims otherwise. Both the lead actor and the director are known as exactly that (See: Qanon Anonymous 143 and Qanon Anonymous 238)
I attempted to talk to this person about this and they, unsurprisingly, immediately blocked me so I'm gonna say it's a pretty cool idea if we get everyone aware that the lie is a lie, y'know? Reblog this shit
Edit: If you want to understand what it looks like when someone is undergoing Cognitive Dissonance, admire the people claiming I'm x and y and not able to actively refute the actual words of the actor in question.

It Gets Worse
It is never, EVER appropriate for your employer to make sexual advances towards you, especially when they present it to you as a condition of keeping or succeeding at your job.
And I'm not saying that because I'm a Mormon. I'm saying that because I'm a human. That is unacceptable behavior in any setting. It's not normal. It's not okay. And if it happens to you, it doesn't mean you did anything wrong to somehow invite it to happen to you.
Sexual harassment, assault, and discrimination don't happen because there's something wrong with you. They happen because there's something deeply wrong with the person initiating that behavior with you.
There's something deeply wrong with Tim Ballard. He was using his position in OUR to become a sexual predator. It doesn't matter how he justifies it to himself. What he was doing was wrong and he should face criminal and civil consequences, as well as church discipline.
The question is: will the Church excommunicate Ballard for this? I definitely think he should be. But it remains to be seen.
Will the Church call what he was doing adultery and excommunicate him?
We're about to find out.
