OBC Mistoffelees
I am SO proud of this one! Timothy Scott’s Misto is such an awesome character visually.

How 1998, OBC, and OLC Mistos could represent Misto's whole lifetime
So late last night (meaning after 11pm in bed and brain decides now's the time to party), I started thinking about how the 1982 and 1981 versions of Misto actually fit well if one thinks of them as older Misto when he's fully confident and in control of his powers. For example, you could start with 1998 Misto with his tender age, social awkwardness and still exploring the range of and how to control his magical powers. But I think it could still work with a fully mute Mistoffelees (here I'm thinking more shy and mute like Lindsay Chambers' Zurich Misto), as that same confidence through his lifetime would still show, and he can use his powers to make visuals and other effects when he is practiced and confident enough to show off with all he's got.
And hence with time, Misto becomes less shy and socially awkward as his confidence, magical powers, and generally more life experiences makes him a stronger, better, and even more confident and delightful showman. While verbal Mistos would sing their hearts out a la Timothy Scott's Misto about Mungo and Teazer, with puppets and other effects to entertain new kittens, mute Mistos would create a delightful series of visuals that the chaos pair can interact with (e.g. bapping the Ming vase to make it fall with a PING!)
With time and growth, he becomes more refined and not as wildly energetic with age (Wayne Sleep's Misto strikes me as less energetic than Jacob's or Timothy's, but that's just from still photos so I might have it entirely wrong), and already has endured a few losses of dear ones including JennyAnyDots. To honour her memory at the Jellicle Ball a year after her passing, Misto sings (or practices a series of visuals and choreography if wholly mute) of the highly respected Old Gumbie Cat, wishing that the newest and youngest kittens at the junkyard could have met her.
Oops I'm not crying you are.
Anyway, I think this also fits with the ages of the Misto actors too: younger Mistos (I think Jacob was 23 when he did the 1998 film) who're still exploring the many wonders of oncoming adult independence and responsibilities, and figuring out who the fuck they even are. But with age, you usually figure shit out and it would be no different to Misto with age either (got shit figured out by the equivalent of our mid-late twenties (Tim Scott was about 27-ish I think)--or if not, it's definitely figured out by the time Misto is in his early thirties (Wayne Sleep's age when he was Misto.))

jellicle lineups; part 2/4
MOREEEE !!! MOREEEE !!!
rumpleteazer | 💰 🍹 🃏
PIGTAILS RUMP! PASTEL RUMP. blond rump. that is all. i really love that design. so i use it. the face markings are also meant to look like a stereotypical robber mask. i realized she looks a little fox-like while drawing her, which i didnt mind ! its fun !
her clothing design was already laid out for her so i left it virtually unchanged, asides from the pattern itself. imagine wearing clothes w a print of your best friends hair . that is rumpleteazer
even though 1 of her 3 words are impressionable, i think she is smarter than she lets on. i also think skimbleshanks is her dad. she'd be about 21 in human years
mungojerrie | 💸 🎰 🍾
PIGTAILS JERRIE AS WELL, BITCH ! i saw a jerrie w pigtails after i drew this and i felt so vindicated. i also based his design directly on 2019 mungojerrie because ommgggg transgender calico? trans little calico? i thought he deserved some pearls too. as well as a bell collar! it makes cats sneakier.
his clothing design is left unchanged too, asides from some fluff. he is also wearing a print of his best friends hair . smile 😃
hes just a funny fella. he totally doesnt have a history or anything. hed be 21 in human years
coricopat | 🍷 🔮 ♟
coricopat is pretty close to their replica design—the biggest difference being that the red in their design is warmer/purpler. that and the silver collar! i also had no idea what i was doing with her fit, so expect it to change in the upcoming art i do of him. i just wanted something gothy and flowy
hes also based on thalia, the muse of comedy. to keep the greek mythology theme going, and because i thought it was funny, and because (2x) i like... The Gimmick
i swear to god this cat knows things we dont. hed be like 22 in human years
tantomile | 🎭 🍩 🗝
tantomile is also close to his replica design. she has a gold collar. like i said w/ coricopat, the outfit is subject to change
as she was based on melpomene, the muse of tragedy, i decided to sacrifice identical makeup for the white mark on their muzzle being downturned like the frown of the tragedy mask :] giggle. smile
listen to all advice tantomile gives you. shed be also like 22 in human years
george | 🥏 🧋 🛹
i just had to give this (technical) swing some love. bless this happy background cat and his little :D smile. i decided to give him a simple little fit and made his fur/markings less plain white w some stripes. i think i also based his makeup off a victor costume ??
i think hes pouncival's older brother. hed also be 23 in human years
mr. mistoffelees | 🪄 ☕ 🌬
my silly, my funny. my little guy. i based their general Vibe on his john napier concept art, obc mistoffelees, 1990 paris mistoffelees, 2019 mistoffelees, and like. a fairys kiss of brentoffelees. i wish id have given him a bit of that il sistina style but i already had so many things going on LOL
it was definitely a very fun challenge to balance all of these. i also draw attention to the single white shoe—the cutest detail of timmy scotts misto
i definitely prefer a more visually unnerving, grown misto. and absolutely torn between portraying him as mute or verbal because on one hand... mute misto is so good. on the other hand.... oh my god. timothy scotts voice.jesus christ . i think hed be 23 in human years
the rum tum tugger | 🎤 🍽 🪞
WELCOME TO MY TWISTED WORLD. i really tried to keep tugger as cis guys i really did. but the thrall of a visually transgender tugger was too much to ignore. i already explained a lot of his design choices in my first posted drawing of it but like... blauhh... thigh garter, heart, golden whiskers/lashes. they are there. i also made his makeup a wee more theatrical w/ white on the chin to visually separate him from partridges tugger
i also decided to base his fur more on his obc design. like. terrence mann tugger. platinum blond spotted mane and head fur and such. i think it looks really good
im trying to hit the sweet spot between the goofy/serious/whiny/promiscuous portrayals of the him..... the man contains multitudes, you see. hed also be like 24 in human years and it goes without saying that hes one of deuts sons
AND THATS IT. stay tuned for more !

Cats Warsaw Merch
Aka all the Cats Warsaw merch things that I've found, at least so far
Starting with the stuff that I actually own:
CD Album
It's a highlights album containing 14 of the songs, sang by the main singing part of the cast, which mainly results in that some parts go to different people than later on stage, including Mistoffelees' part in "Mr M" being sang by the actor playing Victor (he does sing it as Misto). Also some of the songs in their arrangements are sounding closer to OBC than to how they would later sound on stage (mainly Jellicle Ball and Mr M).
The little booklet contains some basic information about the show, the songs included and the cast, as well as a few photos from the recording of the album
It was recorded in November 2003 and published/available for purchase with the premiere of the show on Jan 10, 2004
Programme
I got actually 2 of those, from 2004 and 2007. They are almost identical (only differences are ads and a bracket indicating one of the sponsors died by 2007). The actually different things are the cast inserts, both in the cast as well as the general formatting and rehearsal photos included
More photos of the 2004 version here
Book
Once again I have 2 of those, one came to me in its original protective sleeve and i'm keeping it safely tucked away. The other one is by now ever so slightly falling apart from how many times I've read it XD
The book contains interviews with: the set, costume and make up designers, the translator and some notes from the choreographers and cast members. It also includes quite a few photos (most of them from rehearsals) as well as fragments of song lyrics, some of the character descriptions and other general information about the show and its production
It was published in November 2004
Stuff that I know about from photos
Posters
I have a few such photos from a promo event for the CD album where people could get cds and posters, get them signed and there was face painting and some other activities including learning how to be a cat or smth
Umbrellas
This premiere photo is the only one that I got
A cup and a saucer
This is the only picture I have of it, and I am honestly not sure if it was actually sold or if it was custom made, but I'm gonna count it anyway
Pens
I don't actually have a photo of any, BUT the plaque over this lady's shoulder says "Długopis KOTY" aka "Pen CATS", and at this point that's all that I got (also there are CD albums on the top shelf)
Repertoire brochure
Distributed most likely sometime in December 2003, given it advertises the premiere and all the preview shows. Cats Warsaw had in total 6 preview shows, and it also had 2 premieres
The repertoire is for January and Febuary 2004, aka the original planned run of the show
Calendar
This is the only photo I have of it, possibly for June or July page, and curiously enough the same photo can be found in the Warsaw book, on Demeter's page. This suggests at least some other portrait photos from the book were originally taken for this calendar
Not merch but I thought they should be included
Cats Warsaw documentary "Ujażmić Koty" ("The taming of Cats")
Making of Cats Warsaw, which included some of the musical's history and the director's history with it; some interviews with the cast, mainly Damian Aleksander (Munkustrap), Ewa Lachowicz (Demeter), Grzegorz Suski (Macavity), Jakub Szydłowski and Paweł Podgórski (both Rum Tum Tugger); rehearsal, backstage and premiere footage
It had its premiere on December 20, 2004
2005 edition of the Poems (that I do own)
2005 edition of "Old Possum's" translated by Stanisław Barańczak, simply titled "Koty" ("Cats")
The only tie it has to the musical is the fact that the cover photo is a very edited fragment of a rehearsal photo featured in the middle spread of the programme mentioned in the beginning of this list
It's Tantomile plus Etcetera's leg

It broke my heart when the 2019 used the slow jazz version. I want an official recording of the updraft version as a duet on a CD! (Yeah I could rip the audio off the filmed special but ya know)
You're in luck: if you access my Cast Recordings Folder HERE, the Australian cast recording has the English version of the upbeat M&R sung by them (The OBC recording has it as well, but Mr. Mistoffelees is singing it). The majority of the foreign language recordings also have the upbeat M&R, if you aren't limiting yourself to English.
Or, if you want to hear Naoimh Morgan (and Billy Mahoney) specifically singing it:

When I went home last week Sawyer picked me up from the airport and on the way home we were listening to the Cats soundtrack. Normally Sawyer picks the OLC because that's the record they bought me but that night I was like "let's listen to the OBC. Ken Page ahoy."
And they got so befuddled at the beginning of Mungojerrie and Rumpleteazer that there's a little Mr. Mistoffelees intro. They were like "what the hell was that."
And I had the great pleasure of explaining to them that in the OBC, Mungojerrie and Rumpleteazer are not real and are instead trash puppets that Mistoffelees manipulates while he sings about them.
Seeing them bluescreen while they processed the was hilarious

The thing about me is that i sometimes start tearing up thinking about Timothy Scott’s Mr Mistoffelees. He was dead before i even knew he was alive but one of the most important things in my life would not be what it is today without him.

Do you have a mr Mistoffelees cats costume from cats the musical
Hello anon! I did have two, one 1998 inspired and one OBC inspired, but I'm cleaning out my cosplay closet and have sent them off to new homes.

Misto and "Puppets" headcanon
Was just thinking about how some more recent productions (e.g. the 2016 Oasis of the Sea) have Misto pull up Mungojerrie and Teazer and have them freeze in poses like they're puppets (a callback no doubt to OBC) in his big number.
And now I have a cute headcanon about Misto as a younger kitten discovering he can make others pose with their powers (probably by accident initially), and Mungo and Teazer are absolutely enthralled by this and had kept asking him if they can "play puppets" with him whenever they could.
So I'm now thinking of that moment in more recent productions' performance of Mr Mistoffelees, and I think it's cute to think of it as a little nostalgic callback to when they were younger and Mungo and Teazer and Misto had "played puppets" together.
