Arcadia's Remix is out!

Luci's song was one of my least favorite Ruri Tunes remixes and the full version doesn't help its case, unfortunately. There is too much going on in the background like, am I the only one hearing police siren in the first verse? The overall vibe of the remix seems... bleaker than original, if that makes sense? Like the latter sounds more uplifting and optimistic. Maybe it's just the case of me getting used to it, but in all the aspects except for the song's tempo, the OG version seems superior.

I was talking to someone about the Obey Me! Character songs and I got curious about which ones were the most popular.

I've included the brothers' songs solo songs, the side character's songs, and the unit songs. Songs such as 'Sinful Indulgence' and 'Celestial Ray' were left out because I couldn't find the same data.

I used 3 different sources; the views for the"Song Title-Topic" section, the views of the most popular English translation video of each song, as well as how many streams each song got on Spotify.

Then I averaged the total views from those 3 categories over how many days each song has been out.

The numbers for this were taken down on June 22, 2022 (in case that's somehow relevant-)

So, first up: The brothers.

Obey Me AU where both humans and demons have stamps on their fingertips displaying their greatest sin. Most humans don't know about this, although Solomon does because of his history with demons. MC's culture has made an entire status symbol out of these colors, with red being the highest tier and orange being the lowest tier. MC is envious of her entire family who all have higher tier colors stamped on their hands, but it all begins to click when MC meets Leviathan, who has orange on his hands and is just as envious as they are.

Summary: The humans managed to suck everyone into a singing competition taking place at the castle. Everyone joins for different reasons, reluctantly so.

Everyone got comfortable in their seats as a Little D hands Lucifer the microphone before going back to MC’s side, giggling. He taps it a few times to make sure it is on, and the sound bounces off the castle walls and music starts playing a second later. Lucifer sighs a bit and gestures MC to come up on the little stage they set up, all getting different reactions from his brothers, but MC just goes up. After a bit of foot tapping, he starts singing “Take a deep breath, in the usual place”

“I’ll go and make you dream, so wait lady” “Instead than those bastards, how about me?”

It was obvious he was talking about the brothers, and the reactions they got were all very very salty and unpleasant, but Lucifer simply ignores them. “I’ll dye you in spectacular colors”

“Everything is alright, that’s not a lie.”

“Like a dead end, cornering you little by little”

The smirk on his face was so smug, but MC didn’t expect anything less from the Avatar of Pride. The brothers were all their own level of grumpy, and poor Luke could feel the amount of wrath and jealousy radiating off of Levi and Satan. “I won’t forgive any disruptors anymore” “1 round play, but we’re still even” Now, the look on Luci’s face was a bit more gentle as he sung to MC, getting a bit closer, which really only helped the wrath and jealousy.. “I want to be your number one, but maybe I can’t love you that deeply.” Luci looks at the audience, and then back at MC. “If you choose one person from us, you can’t go back, you can’t go back.” “Damn right you can’t.” Mammon murmurs to himself. Lucifer put some space in between him and MC “In the dream, you’re my captive, nothing else matters right now” “All the way back deep, deep inside, once you get addicted there’s no way out”

MC snorts, thanks for stating the obvious, Sherlock. The human looks at the audience and sighs. There was no doubt about it that this friendly singing competition would probably turn into something less friendly, at least for the brothers, all fighting for MC’s love. “Fly away to somewhere to a place we can’t be seen, can’t be over if it’s just a dream, lady.” “Rather than those bastards, how about me?” Luke squeaks a bit, noticing how Satan looked ready to strangle someone, to which he clings onto Simeon in worry. “I’m falling for your bewitching colors.” “Are you now?” MC crosses their arms, slightly amused. Lucifer chuckles at the human’s reaction. “Everything’s alright, it’s not a lie.” “Don’t be afraid, just keep your eyes on me.” MC rolls their eyes and kept their eyes on him, a small smirk on their lips. “Don’t resist the temptation, no one knows, I only want you.” “Oh trust me, we all know” Belphie grumbles after waking up from a nap, catching Beel, who Belphie was against, by surprise, but he simply hugs him as the song continues. “I want to be a part of you, but maybe that selfishness won’t come true.” “We’ll see, Lucifer, we’ll see.” MC chuckles “If you drown in this desire, you can’t go back, you can’t go back!” MC yelps a bit in surprise as Lucifer twirls them around. “You’re shining in the darkness, that’s the only thing I can rely on right now.” “Wherever, deep, deep inside, once you’re addicted there’s no way out” It surprised MC a bit to see how well he’s dancing with them with a microphone in hand, but Lucifer was a man of many talents, they suppose... “Yea, yea, yea, yea, where is my lover, baby?” MC’s eyes widen a bit at the question, they would never expect him to say that, maybe drunk, but no way sober! “Yea, yea, yea, yea, you are the only for me.”  “Yea, yea, yea, yea, I fell in love with you badly” Was.. Was MC dreaming, no way Lucifer would say this! “I’ll chase after you, the you who’s only mine” Now that sounded more like Lucifer, the Avatar of Pride. He took a breath, stopping MC to admire them before twirling them again. “Inside the dream, following you, right now, that’s the only thing I can do.” “Can’t stop feeling, can’t deny the truth!”

A bit more music plays as MC stares up at Lucifer, before the music stops abruptly, causing them to snap out of it and look away. “So? How was it Judge MC?” He asks teasingly, a smirk on his face. “It was fine, but we’ll just have to see everyone else’s performance!” They huff. At least Lucifer was more honest about his feelings..
