fluff alphabet w/ Lucifer

couldn't find one single template people seemed to be using, so I mashed a few up that I liked! will use this template for everyone else too :)

A = Admiration (what do they absolutely adore about you?)

he loves your passion and drive to be the best person you can be for you, and not for anybody else

B = Bonding (what's your favorite mutual bonding activity?)

the two of you love small coffee break together in the middle of the day, as well as the more occasional mutual preening of his wings

C = Cuddling (how do they like to cuddle?)

usually, you cuddle in bed after a long day of work. he likes to spoon, where he is pretty much always the big spoon, but usually he likes to face you so the two of you can talk about your day together

D = Dates (what does their ideal date with you look like?)

fancy dinner date! he loves to see you all dressed up and treat you to the nicest things money can buy. he loves to see the way your entire face lights up at all the delicious food and romantic atmosphere <3

E = Emotions (how do they express emotion around you?)

he's much more open to and around you than with others, since he doesn't feel the need to hide anything or act like he usually does. while it's not freely, he's much more relaxed and hesitates less to tell you things

F = Family (do they want one? If they do, when?)

he's thought about this idea a little, and the idea of being a father is something kind of familiar to him. it's not something he'd want to rush and if everything works out, he wouldn't mind

G = Gifts (how do they feel about gift giving? What are their habits when it comes to this?)

he loves to give you gifts! he often feels guilty that he might not be spending enough time with you, so everything little thing that he thinks you'd like, he gets and always gives it to you himself. they're always wrapped up with the same wrapping paper or concealed with the same tissue paper so you always think of him when you see it

H = Holding Hands (when/how do they like to hold hands?)

he's not too big on holding hands in public, but in the safety of his room, especially when his gloves aren't on, he loves to hold your hand

I = Injury (how would they act if you got hurt?)

he would put on a tough act and almost scold you while patching you up, but he would secretly be very worried and thankful you were alright. if it's something more serious, he would personally check up on your daily and bring you things such as flowers and books to keep you busy while you heal

J = Jokes (do they like to joke around with or prank you? how?)

jokes with him aren't what you think of when you think of jokes. sometimes your stationary items will disappear and if you didn't know him well enough, you wouldn't know he was behind it thanks to the small small on his face

K = Kisses (how do they like to kiss you?)

he's quite the gentleman, so he gives you lots of hand kisses, and kisses on the lips. he doesn't like to rush things and really makes you feel as if the two of you are the only two people in the world

L = Love Confession (how'd they confess to you? how'd you get together?)

he wants to believe he had it planned out, but both of you know that wasn't the case. he had had a little too much demonus to drink at one of diavolo's parties, so you were the one to drag him to one of his spare rooms, which is when it slipped out. the conversation the next morning was awkward but very sweet

M = Memory (favorite memory together?)

his favorite memory by far is the first time you decided to break the ice and bring him his dinner up to his room while he was working. once he'd heard you hadn't eaten either, he had you get your dinner too, and you enjoyed eating in the garden together

your favorite memory was the first time you saw him smile. after that, you made it your goal to make him smile as often as possible, which led to many more wonderful memories together

N = Nightmare (what is their worst fear?)

something happening to you and his brothers because of a mistake he made, or because he couldn't work hard enough to keep you all safe. be by his side and let him know that you appreciate all he does and that you'll always be by his side

O = Obvious (how obvious do they make it that they like you?)

he shows some favoritism, like giving you less chores and letting you get away with dipping into his snack stash, but if you weren't paying close attention, you would never notice the way his eyes linger on you or the way he briefly smiles whenever your name is mentioned

P = Pet Names (what do they like to call you?)

he prefers simple, classic pet names, such as dear, darling, or love since he thinks they're to the point and still lets you know how much he loves you <3

Q = Quality Time (how do they like to spend time with you?)

while sometimes the only time he has to spend with just you is when the two of you are closing your days together, he always makes sure you have at least one date a week, usually on a friday or saturday evening

R = Romance (how romantic are they?)

he's very suave and everything with him feels so perfect. he's very romantic and plans everything down to the detail. he refuses to give you anything but the best

S = Secrets (how open are they with you?)

he's afraid if he lets you in on his past and secrets, you might not like him anymore. it usually take a while of him sitting on it and you reassuring him for him to speak about them

T = Time (how long did it take you to get together?)

not until closer to the end of your first trip to the devildom, after all the events had come to a close and you'd truly settled in, as much as you could with belphie in the house

U = Unique (what makes them unique?)

the way he carries himself is unlike anyone else. you love how refined he acts in public and how soft he goes behind closed doors

V = Vaunt (what are they proud of? do they like to show you off?)

he's very proud of how much you've grown since day one in the devildom, and he's not afraid to talk you up to those who don't know you (which are few and far between).

W = Warrior (how do they feel about you fighting? would they fight for you, beside you, etc?)

he's nervous about you being in any dangerous situation, but he knows you're more than capable since you've learned and grown so much since you've arrived in the devildom. he would trade places with you in a heartbeat to keep you safe

X = X-Ray (how well are they able to read you?)

sometimes he knows what you need before you need it. it's a little scary. when you ask, he just says it's because he's a demon but you're sure it's because of how caring he is

Y = Yes (how would they propose to you?)

like how you got together, he would want it to be perfect, but it slipped out beforehand by accident. you'd brough him his dinner while he was working and somehow he let it slip. not how he wanted it to go, but still heartwarming

Z = Zzz (how do they act when they're sleepy? what's it like sharing a bed with them?)

he becomes such a clingy demon when tired! he loves to hold you close and you basically have to drag him after you since he won't let go haha

DOMESTIC (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)

Lucifer sees moments of domesticity between you and his brothers, and he pretends he’s not jealous of that.

He’s so incredibly busy, but he wants nothing more than quiet, tranquil moments where you can just be together without his endless list of responsibilities plaguing him.

Cleaning is a means to achieve what he likes - a tidy, well-kept home - so he does it. He doesn’t like it, but it’s necessary.

(It’s more fun if you help him, because anything is better if you’re with him.)

Cooking though? It’s a pain cooking for seven demons, especially when one of them eats enough to make it feel like he’s cooking for fifteen demons instead…

But cooking can also be relaxing, and he understands that cooking for someone you care about is a way of showing you love them.

He likes to see his family taken care of. He wants to take care of you, too.

If you spend time cooking with him in the kitchen, and he knows no one is around to watch interrupt, don’t be surprised if he’s a bit more affectionate: squeezing your shoulder while you prep ingredients; hugging you from behind when you stir the pot on the stove; accepting the spoonful of food you offer for him, and then trying to kiss you when he teasingly asks if you want a taste too.

When he has to spend evenings working in his private study, he’ll invite you to visit with him instead of one of his brothers and keep him company. He doesn’t even mind if you sit in silence, with only a quiet cursed record playing in the background - your presence is comforting enough.

He likes to look up from his paperwork and watch you read in front of the fireplace or play on your phone. Every once in a while you both look up at the same time and smile at each other. If you fall asleep, he won’t wake you - he’ll simply carry you to bed when he’s finished.

FIANCE(E) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?)

He doesn’t need a formal marriage ceremony to feel confident in your relationship - you’re already in a pact with him, remember?

Then again, there is something highly gratifying about you having his old, lost ring…

He wouldn’t object to marriage if you asked it of him, but he might not propose himself unless you want him to.

He proves to you in so many ways that you already belong to each other.

Do you prefer monogamy? Then he’s yours, and yours alone.

Do you have other arrangements with others that you have feelings for? He’s not intimidated. Those dealing are of no consequence to him - he’s confident that there’s no one that can love you more than he can.

LITTLE ONES (How are they around children?)

He might say he finds young children tolerable but when you see them together? You might wonder whether it’s the same demon.

He will bounce a baby on his hip while walks around his office, and he’ll respond to baby gurgles and cooing like he understands them (whether he does or not is anyone’s guess).

He’ll hold their hand when they cross the street and remind them to check both ways. He impresses on them the importance of saying please and thank you. He sits them on the kitchen counter while he cooks so they can keep him company, or he lets them “help” make something (usually a dessert, so they can lick the spoon after).

Oh, and Cerberus becomes quickly accustomed to the presence of children, and being hugged by them and pet by them, and maybe being ridden by them if Lucifer thinks you’re not around to scold him–

Ahem. Yes, you could say he doesn’t mind children.

Honestly, he doesn’t give much thought to ever being a parent himself - sometimes it feels like he has six children already - but he would consider the idea if you mention wanting a family with him.

SECURITY (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)

Lucifer knows you’re perfectly capable of standing up for yourself, and the last thing he wants to do is overstep his boundaries and make you feel like you’re weak or less capable somehow.

(He will gladly do so if you ask him to, or if he knows it’s something you struggle with.)

HOWEVER.

He won’t stand by forever if someone shows blatant disrespect towards you personally, or insults his relationship with you.

His protectiveness usually comes to life in the form of glinting ruby eyes that flash with a promise of violence, and a joyless smile that hints at the fangs he’s ready to bare for you, and cold, sharp words that could make anyone’s blood freeze. This is his only warning, so let’s hope those that speak so poorly of you consider their next words carefully.

In an urgent situation, or one where you’re physically at risk? He doesn’t hesitate to bring you to safety, shielding you with his body or pulling you out of harm’s way. Once you’re safe, he’s on the attack, ready to eliminate whatever or whoever threatened you.

TRY (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)

He works so much and so hard for the things and people he cares about: the Devildom, Diavolo, his brothers, and you.

He works hard in his position at RAD because he wants the Devildom to be a better place for his family, and he wants the Devildom to be a safe place you can call home.

He uses special occasions as an excuse to take you away on a trip, or he plans an elaborate date - something he can do where all he has to focus on is making you happy.

His brothers’ antics remind him that alone time with you is a luxury he shouldn’t take for granted.

Any happy occasion or milestone gets 100% of his thoughtful attention.

His gifts are thoughtful, and practical, and he plans his gifts or trips well in advance.

He wants everything to be perfect, because it’s what you deserve.

Simeon (Romantic)

Honesty: Simeon is an ex angel. He is going to be honest with you. Well, kinda... he does unintentionally lie to you from time to time, and sometimes intentionally when he feels shame. But after a bit of talking, he may start to come around to tell you a lot more about, even perhaps the part he finds shameful.

Injury: When something bad happens to you, he is the type to stay calm and make sure your okay and once he knows your safe he'll make you food, get you some blankets, and cuddle you if you'll allow it.

When something bad happens to him, He'll make sure he himself his okay before going to you for comfort. It's one of those things he may find shameful at first but after a short while he'll rely on you more.

Jealousy: He gets more jealous easier than you'd think. For example at one of Diavolo's parties, if Simeon demes you've spent too much time with someone else he'll politely pull you away from the conversation to dance with you, making sure to hold you close to him the whole time. Just a few kisses and a few reassuring words will make him feel way better.

Mammon (Romantic)

Honesty: He is unintentionally the most honest person with you, if you didn't know better you may call him a saint by how honest he is. Levi gets secondhand embarrassment when he hears Mammon being honest with you.

Injury: Mammon will react in one of two ways, either go absolute apeshit or panic so much he might go into cardiac arrest. No matter how he reacts, once everything has settled down, he'll hold onto you so tight you might pop. But if you seriously need comfort he'll gladly give you a to shoulder for you to cry on while he reassures you with his words and a back rub.

You are absolutely the first person he will go to when something happens. He will go to you demanding hugs and kisses and to be held in a long cuddle sesh.

Jealousy: This is Mammon we're talking about, there is no question on if he gets jealous easily or not. Of course he does.

When your talking to someone else for too long without him like 10 minutes he'll whine and hang off you any way he can unit eventually either you end the conversation to spend time with him or the other person gets annoyed and leaves. He will demand all your attention for the next few hours, but not like a normal person, like how a cat would. Make sure to say a lot of reassuring things to him if he is seriously jealous, trust me, bby need them.

Beel (Romantic)

Honesty: Beel is the same as Mammon, he is painfully honest with you. But with him, it's less how much he wants to tell you and have your attention on him (like Mammon), and more that he doesn't have much of a filter, especially with you.

Injury: He instantly goes into protective mode when something bad happens. His first instinct is to make sure your safe, and if someone had hurt you he'll take care of them, then bring you somewhere comfortable and make sure you have as much food and snacks as he could possibly give you.

If something were to happen to him Beel will do his best to get to you, bby is more worried about worrying you than himself. Once he reassures you he's okay, he's going to ask for a lot of food, so I suggest you hop to it and got all that for him, he'll feel so much better.

Jealousy: Beel's definitely not a very jealous person. He trusts you, and if your not paying attention to him in favor of a conversation with someone else he'll just wait patiently behind you while eating a snack. I can see him taking your hand and playing with it if he's impatient or a tiny bit jealous. If he is jealous, just some kisses and an "I love you <3" will make him feel way better.

Diavolo will try his best to comfort you as much as he can whenever you're feeling down. It makes him sad to see you upset cause your smiles are what makes his days brighter when he's flooded with work or after he comes back from a meeting. If you're having panic attacks he will surely embrace you and help you clam down as best as possible

E qual - Are they the dominant one in the relationship, or rather passive?

Diavolo is pretty passive in a relationship. He would prefer if you'd help him in making decisions for him. Sure there are times when he's dominant and makes decisions when it's needed but surely your opinions matter more when it comes to your relationship with him

J ealousy - Do they get jealous easily? How do they deal with it?

Diavolo rarely gets jealous. Please you would have to be brave enough to hit on the future king of Devildom's partner. Technically because of that, no one tends to flirt or hit on you if he's nearby or even if he isn't cause I guess you could say word reaches fast in the Devildom and it's best to stay safe

Injury - What happens when you get injured?

- Immediately Beel is going towards you, trying to assess the injury and figure out what’s wrong.

- Feels guilty if you got injured in a way he feels he could have prevented. The problem is that he really overestimates how much he can really defend you. Like Beel, you can’t keep MC safe from the paper cut.

- He always wants you to let him know if you’re injured, he gets really hurt if he finds out you’ve been keeping an injury a secret from him. He wants to feel like he’s doing a good job looking after you and he can’t do that if you aren’t honest with him.

Comfort - How does Beel comfort you?

- He’s big on hugs. Being hugged by him is quite possibly one of the best experiences of the Devildom. He’s warm and tall enough to swamp you if you want but he’s also used enough to being forcibly manoeuvred around by Belphie that he’s cool with serving as a human plush.

- He also cooks you your comfort foods. He knows that food can be really powerful in terms of like memories associated with certain dishes so he’ll try and make things to cheer you up.

- Will listen to you vent if you need. Somewhat annoyingly rational but he’s good at providing a balanced perspective.

Yearning - What do they do when they miss you?

- Poor baby doesn’t want to be a bother.

- He’ll be very upfront about the fact he misses you and he’ll text you often but if you don’t give the same energy and initiate conversations once in a while he’ll cut back on texting you too much.

- He also borrows some of your perfume/cologne before you leave to spray it on his stuff to help him nap without his human sleeping aid.

Sex - What are sexy times with them like?

- Very soft. Beel takes a while to feel sexual attraction, for him it’s usually intertwined with romantic attraction, and unlike some of his brothers (primarily Asmo) he doesn’t go out of his way to seek out sexual encounters.

- So when he does have sex with you, it’s usually very gentle and it’s a symbol of love for him. This is a bit roundabout but I remember reading this fic where the MC has a power that makes people devoted to them and many show that devotion through wanting to sexually gratify them - Beel’s like that. For him, sex is being vulnerable and close with someone.

- Anyway he’s a soft dom. Also oral king, obviously. Sex with him is very affectionate and loving.

Knowledge: He knows you like the back of his hand. It's almost scary. He know exactly what your doing right behind him and will tell you so, It is so hard to surprise him. If he knows you going to do something stupid he will hold out his arm in front of you as a way to say "Just don't".

Love Language: I think Lucifer's love language is acts of service, physical touch, and gifts.

Acts of service, when you maybe do part of his chores when he's too busy with paperwork, making him a cup of coffee or tea when it's late at night and he needs to finish his work or just any type of talking a bit of the load off his back. It means so much to him. And he will do the same for you when you are buried in any type of work.

Physical touch (this ones mostly lux's help), it comforts him, after a long day of taking care of his brothers, nothing makes him happier than his love holding him, letter him melt into them. It comforts and reassures him that you love him, all of him. Kissing his scars might make him cry, not in a bad way, but in relief.

Gifts, this is one of his main love languages for you. He loves spoiling you with meaningful gifts and powerful things. His chest always fills with butterflies and pride when he sees any of his gifts to you around your room.

Dance: I think think that when he gets the chance, he loves dancing with you. It doesn't matter if it's at one of Diavolo's parties or at The Fall or just late at night with one of his non-cursed records playing as you sway back and forth in his study. He loves slow dancing especially, it's calm and he can easily gaze into your eyes and get lost. If you can't slow dance, that perfectly fine, he adores teaching you.
