Mc who not only is stubborn but also has a pretty strong immune system/ doesn't get a cold easily, so when they come down with a devildom flu (or flu/sickeness in general) they aren't convinced they are sick even if they are couching and trembling from the sheer cold they feel!

Mc: I'm fine- *COUGHS* I'm telling you! *says in a rapsy voice*

*Whoever obey me character is with them at the moment or taking care of them looking at them sternly as he takes the thermometer to count their temperature while forcing them to lay down* oh for the love of diavolo just stay still and listen to me!

Mc: but I'm fin- *gets cut of from the sudden urge to throw up* ...yeah actually-

Character: that's what I thought, now lay down to rest, let me take your temperature and make you some warm tea/ camomile with honey, or milk whatever you like!

Hello,I hope you don't mind me asking some questions.

Do you think Mc is ever approached by demons for pacts ? How do you think the brothers react?

Do you think Diavolo or Meso get jealous about not being able to make a pact? ( Though I'm surprised Diavolo didn't just do it anyways)

The game hasn’t stated if MC has made pacts but Asmodeus has given ideas for potential pacts to MC in chats from the OG game.

Mephistopheles can make a pact but he’s very proud so it’s unlikely he’ll do so for anything as simple as most of the brothers’ did.

Diavolo in OG said he couldn’t make a pact because of his position but in Nightbringer said he’d be willing to for something important/serious enough, although this takes place in his past so it’s possible he changed his mind to his answer in the OG.

I think Diavolo is definitely jealous of the bond a pact gives MC and the brothers and Mephistopheles probably scoffs about it in front of others but is a little jealous.

It would actually be quite nice if you were just a little more closer to him

The sense of nervousness won't leave him whenever Diavolo came to visit him

And the mixed feelings when the other exchange students decided to drop by

But when you enter his room

The light started to get a little darker

And the atmosphere turned into something heavier yet more comforting feeling

Instead of going to the dark alley you decided to take some nap in the cafeteria and even on empty classrooms

The Brothers will not found you two scattered all over the academy sleeping on each other

And before he even noticed

Whenever the slightest danger occurs he's already jumping in front of you and pushing you back as he shield your fragile body

THIRTEEN

She's such a trouble maker

And you're an expert in keeping trouble makers in line

And Thirteen will make sure she don't follow that line!

She keeps on pulling pranks

Gosh will she ever stop

Then one day you got so busy that your usual scolding for her didn't happened

It feels like she'll start crying if she says anything more so you just denied everything and said that your schedule have been fully packed

Even saying that you're a new member of the council so you became more busy

She felt so embarrassed after that

But she started to treasure your relationship more

Had a sad thought, and now everyone must suffer with me -

this was hilarious until i remember that satan is indeed the avatar of wrath and has destroyed the house of lamentations more tines than i can count on both hands. then it got slightly less hilarious, but it's still hilarious

ik we all joke about lucifer being satan's dad bc he technically is but this is PEAK father-son behavior 😭 satan throwing a temper tantrum, no pun intended, over not being able to adopt a cat is one of the funniest things ever actually

y'all know i love me some angst but dear GOD am i happy that we're getting something lighthearted after the emotional rollercoaster that was lesson 38

also we got our room back hehe 🫶🏽

aaaaand now they back to brothers

"nuh uh" "uh huh" DAMN just let him have the cat 😭

shithead lucifer my beloved 🫶🏽 and it's even more heartwarming bc we can see how much he's relaxed and recovered from the incident in cocytus. him smiling and laughing and joking with his brothers freely after the fear of losing them has finally been dissipated has to be a weight off of his shoulders, and a weight off of his brothers' shoulders, too. he's probably been less of himself since the fall, and this is probably more reminiscent of the lucifer from back in the celestial realm

i hc that mammon's familiars/crows just roam around the house freely, so this is even more frustrating for satan bc he's like "well if mammon can have pets, why can't i?"

just when i thought we'd gotten away from the angst, i was reminded that we are (i am) indeed on lesson 39 outta 40...ykw at least i was happy for a little bit

10/10 storytelling and writing. i love it when siblings ACTUALLY act like siblings, bc some media doesn't do sibling dynamics justice

granted, solomon isnt their sibling, but lucifer said it once AND doubled down bc he saw that it pissed satan off the first time. the older sibling in me smiled

ik i've said this before but...

lucifer says he hates when his brothers pester him like they don't get it from him 😭 oh no, if it isn't the consequences of your own actions!

now i feel like mammon might be onto something...what if he actually is stronger than lotan? but he doesn't want things to go past empty, playful threats bc hurting lotan would devastate levi, and he adores his little brother too much to do anything that irresponsible. more on this here

also, you can see the amount of pride lucifer feels towards satan just by the way he's acting throughout this entire lesson. he also knew wholeheartedly that satan would, one way or another, find a way to summon the white dragon. he egged satan on and teased him on purpose, which probably made his powers stronger. but i feel like the teasing also was a mask for encouragement

it was obviously still teasing at the heart, but there was a little more to it that reflected how proud lucifer is of his baby brother for coming into his own

also satan initiating the family picture at the end ??? I SOBBED

the lucifer from our timeline would NEVER allow a pet into the house. but the lucifer from our timeline also didn't get to heal the way this lucifer did, so now i'm kinda sad just thinking about that

maybe he thinks having a pet would mean that they're permanently staying in one place? and he still doesn't feel secure enough in his place in the devildom even after all the time he's spent there, even after making a home and a name for himself and his brothers. maybe he considered letting satan get a pet once mc came into the picture, and still toys with the idea, but keeps deciding against it for some internal reason that he won't address

You’re out shopping with Mephistopheles when you see a watch you like.

MC: “Ooh this so pretty! Oh yikes…that’s way too expensive…”

Mephistopheles: “Hm? It’s only 1,000.”

MC: “Only?”

Mephistopheles: “Yes, I could drop a hundred times this amount and not even bother picking it up.”

MC: “Is that so?”

Mephistopheles: “Why of course.”

MC: “Do it.”

Mephistopheles: “Pardon?”

MC: “Drop one million and walk away.”

Mephistopheles: “I never said a million?”

MC: “So it does matter?”

Mephistopheles: “No it doesn’t. See. It’s meaningless, I’ll make it again in an hour.”

You bend over and pick it up.

Mephistopheles: “Ah, thank you—“

MC: “Oh, did you need this back?”

Mephistopheles: “Well I don’t need it—“

MC: “Oh, so I can have it?”

Mephistopheles: “I’m not giving out money!”

MC: “But you were gonna leave it there and not even pick it up.”

Mephistopheles: “I was making a point.”

MC: “You can’t make a pint if you don’t follow through.”

Mephistopheles: “Well—“

MC: “I knew it, you really aren’t that wealthy after all…”

Mephistopheles: “Of course I am! Do you understand who I am?”

MC: “But don’t you need this back?”

Mephistopheles: “Absolutely not! I wouldn’t dream of it”

MC: “Are you sure, because—“

Mephistopheles: “I don’t need it, I’m not a peasant. You can have it since you went through the effort of picking it up off the ground?”

MC: “Really?”

Mephistopheles: “Yes I insist.”

MC: “Thanks, Mephisto, you’re the best!”

Mephistopheles: “Naturally.”

A few hours later you return home with bags upon bags full of items from top name brands.

Lucifer: “What in the three worlds?”

MC: “That was the easiest million I’ve ever made.”

Mammon: “Huh!? Did ya say million!!!??? How the hell did ya do that?”

MC: “Do you want the short story or—?”

Lucifer: “Short, please.”

MC: “I called Mephisto poor.”
