MC x Mammon is the Smart/Nerd x Stupid/Idiot trope but the roles are interchangeable and they each are a very specific type of stupid (& smart) and by that I mean

MC is the "in front of the class trying to solve a math problem, looks back at mammon, sees him holding up the answer & proceeds to draw mammon holding up the answer on the board" kind of stupid

While Mammon is the "looks at MC mouthing "not guilty" during his trial and says "hot milky" with full confidence" kind of stupid

They can both occasionally be stupid at the same time but if they're both smart at the same time the world implodes

Here's a question, what's Xy's relationship with The Royals™️ like?

Assuming you mean the groupchat, it will be something like this:

I think Xy will get along with them (even in terms of horoscopes) but he probably will feel drained in some form

Their relationship with Barbs is based on a small comic idea I did long, long ago where he was actually the first one who passively threaten to kill Xy the minute he came to the Devildom and out of all of the threats he got, Xy believed him the most. But Barbatos is so interesting to Xy that he is willing to poke the fire and see if it bites back (Solomon and him are similar in that regard; massive crushes but so stupidly reckless and Barbatos hates it lmao)

With Dia, it is mixed; There's too much unpredictability around him for Xy's brain that he finds both amusing but distracting. However, they feel relatively safe around him so I can see them being besties (much to the dismay of Belphie)

If you meant like the Royal Court in the Devildom:

Xy is tragically written as law student in my notes lmao, so he will definitely find something to argue with them in some form (especially in antiquated rule that lasted this long and who carelessly regards humans) That's why I feel like he will get along with Dia's whole plan to fix things up!
