Doing a low-quality analytics project ✔
I was talking to someone about the Obey Me! Character songs and I got curious about which ones were the most popular.
I've included the brothers' songs solo songs, the side character's songs, and the unit songs. Songs such as 'Sinful Indulgence' and 'Celestial Ray' were left out because I couldn't find the same data.
I used 3 different sources; the views for the"Song Title-Topic" section, the views of the most popular English translation video of each song, as well as how many streams each song got on Spotify.
Then I averaged the total views from those 3 categories over how many days each song has been out.
The numbers for this were taken down on June 22, 2022 (in case that's somehow relevant-)
So, first up: The brothers.
Are You Ready (Mammon)-10,274 views/day
Dreamscape (Belphegor)-8,342 views/day
Pomade (Asmodeus)-6,940 views/day
Arcadia (Lucifer)-5,670 views/day
Read My Heart (Satan)-5,083 views/day
My Chance (Leviathan)- 4,922 views/day
Hungry Six-Pack (Beelzebub)- 4,263 views/day
Mammon coming in first isn't surprising. Every poll I've seen regarding the demon brothers had Mammon as the overall favorite. Same with Belphie. We've got our protector...and Belphie in the top spots.
No one EVER tell Satan his song is behind Lucifer's.

Not gonna lie, I'm kind of shocked that Barbatos' song was the most popular out of all of them. I figured it was going to be Mammon's or 'It's My Party!'.

Summary: The humans managed to suck everyone into a singing competition taking place at the castle. Everyone joins for different reasons, reluctantly so.

MC gets over their shock from Satan’s song and watches as Asmo excitedly takes the mic and walks over to them.
“Ready, darling?”
MC snorts.
“Ready as I’ll ever be.”
The music starts and just like everyone else’s song so far, it definitely seem to fit Asmo and his bright personality.
“The pretty boy who strives for perfection.”
“The heart that won’t be seduced easily.”
“Petting me with a proud face, can’t you just let me steal your heart already?“
MC chuckles and shrugs, which makes Asmo pout a bit.
“No matter how teasing you are, you will still be attracted to this sweet temptation~”
“Gross..” Luke stuck his tongue out.
“And be wholeheartedly into this dance”
“You are my captive~”
Asmo grabs their hands and spun around with them, grinning.
“Our love hates and memories increase day by day”
“When you realize, it’s already too late.”
MC hums, wondering... Have they realized yet? They weren’t sure. Their eyes started to wander, only for their thoughts to be interrupted
“Don’t look away, you just need to look at me!”
“You won’t even have time to blink!”
MC nods and continued to place their attention on Asmo, as they began to sway and dance a bit, the fifth eldest having a smile on his face.
“Baby, you want my love?”
“No matter how you are, you can’t beat me~”
“In this world, other than myself, I shouldn’t fall in love with anything else”
“Baby, you need my love?
“Yes no matter which side of me, I want to show you all of them!”
“Asmo..”
“The meaning of those words don’t sound like me.”
“I want you to accept them all~”
Asmo kept leading MC into dances, sways or spins before he continues. MC just thought about how much Asmo grew. He’s almost as obsessed with MC as he is with himself, and that’s saying something...
“The cutie boy who strives for perfection.”

“Seduced by these overflowing feelings, my heart is stolen by you~”
“Endlessly reflecting in my eyes, is the scenery where you are”

“He changed his mind fast” Luke murmurs.
“That’s Asmo for ya” Mammon huffs

“I locked my eyes, only on you”

“Even if that’s you, you can’t beat me~”
“In this world, other than myself, I shouldn’t fall in love with anything else”

Asmo hugs MC tightly, resting his head on their shoulder, lowering the mic so only they could hear it.
“After all the time we spent, I finally realize my love for you~”
“From now on, let’s make it our love story~”
He backs away, continuing to sing into the mic while smiling brightly at them.
“The feelings that I want to tell you, I will send them to you as a love letter~”
Ah, he must be mentioning the letters he sent them when they were in the human world. MC smiles, remembering the plethora of letters they put on their desk.
“So can those pretty eyes lock on me, please?”
“Baby, you want my love?”
“No matter which side of you, you can let me see them all”
“In this world, other than myself, I fall in love for the first time”
“Baby, you need my love?”
“Yes no matter which side of me, I want to show you all of them!”
“The meaning of those words don’t sound like me.”
“I will tell you in secret~”
The music fades out and Asmo hums. There was silence until M kisses his cheek, which caught him by surprise. He squeals and hugs them tight, to which they hug back. Asmo lets go and goes to give the mic to Beel.

“you would do anything for me?”
the question hangs in front you with the same lazy lull of the swimming beasts of the oceans you’ve seen in books of marine life. his voice sends shivers down your spine, seeping through your skin to the marrow of your bones and you don’t need eyes in the back of your head to know he’s walking behind you dual colored eyes watching how your hands nervously tug at a loop of your belt.
“yes.” you don’t need to hesitate, the truth spills from your lips to bleed into the ocean of how far your pliability, your eagerness and your loyalty goes for him. how dangerous it is to be as loyal as a dog for a man like silco.
you can feel the pressure of his presence behind you, the sound of his boots against the floor coming to a halt. those glided boots that have stepped into pools of blood to get to where he is now stand behind you and you almost shake in where you stand in his office as he leans into your space.
cologne, cigars, pomade and the last hints of bourbon send your mind into overdrive and you gasp when you feel his breath on the back of your of neck. you feel a pair of hands - warm and rough settle at the sliver of skin revealed between your pants and shirt and fail to bite back a whine at calloused thumbs rub into the skin, tracing a faint scar carefully.
“that’s dangerous, my dear. you shouldn’t say such sweet things to a man like me.” he mutters and he watches amused at how you break into gooseflesh at just the sound of his voice. he wonders how else he could effect you, if he could break you completely for him.
“i don’t think i can help it.” you breathe out, voice high and wispy. you feel faint - like you are on the verge of losing all air in your lungs. his grip tightens on your hips, fingers long enough that they slot against you almost perfectly.
“no? why.” it wasn’t a question and you know that you can stop your admittance. like a dog exposing itself stomach for affection.
“my heart is so full you it’s practically yours already. i can’t help but want for you and to think of you.” you confess, words heavy like sin and silco enjoys how you burn at your admittance.
sweet thing, sweet pet, and pets when behaved deserve to be rewarded, no?
“i am a man that believes in loyalty, darling and you have shown me sufficiently how far it runs. i believe a reward is in order wouldn’t you agree?” he finishes his words with a rather bold move.
a faint kiss at the base of your neck - barely a brush of his lips against the curve of your neck.
the pay off is tastes as sweet as the whimper you keen - looking over your shoulder to look at him with wide, flustered eyes in a way that makes him grin ruefully.
“the door to your right leads to my bed room. i’ll give you 5 minutes to be ready for me. don’t disappoint me.” is all that is before he pushes you forward and look back at him as you take tentative steps to the room. it’s most amusing how demure you - flustered like a maiden at you obey so sweetly at his command.
ocean tides and burning coals haunt you as you make your way to room and their presence on your mind only grows as you hear the click of the door shut.

Awkward. That you felt about this situation between you and Jonggun, but he didn't.
You sat beside him while one of his men drove the car. He looked very cold, you admitted it since you first met him at Junior High School. In your mind, his cold and silent demeanor never change, he still 'Yamazaki Yuzuru' that you knew.
"So ... uhh, why you want me to come with you? I mean, why are you want come to your Yamazaki residence?" you asked. He glanced behind his sunglasses, you knew that he throw the cold look.
He took off his sunglasses, "Your dear father want me to have business deal, because he owes me. So you will come with me." he looked at your eyes.
'These eyes still same like you were 16,' he thought, then he turned his gaze at the outside of window. The wind blew his hair, made you thought about why he didn't use pomade like he used to. But you still enjoyed the view.

After an hour passed, you finally arrived at the Yamazaki residence. A traditional Japanese house stood firmly in place, Jonggun got out of his car, so do you walking behind him.
Jonggun stopped his track then spoke, "Walk beside me." his tone was stern and demand. You just obeyed him, you walked beside him. But, that was one thing making you surprised; he grabbed your waist and pulled you a little closer to him.
Before you protested, he spoke, "Act normally, I'm just doing this and you want to protest?" he raised an brow. He made you silent.
You two walked together toward the building, you glanced at him, found that he was still wearing flat facial expression that gave the impression of coldness.
"From now, you're always by my side," he looked at you, "that's mean you're won't be with another man." he added. As he finished his words, you couldn't help but silent in surprised.
Is he mean that you two ... engaged?
"He mean, you're engaged with him." someone chuckled, that was someone with blonde hair, and he smiled at you. "Hello there, Ojou-sama~" he greeted with a flirtatious tone.
He was Kim Jungoo.
"I thought Mr. Kenji's daughter was a bratty one, but you weren't." Jungoo commented, he analized your look from the head to toe, "You're a good one."
Confused, you just looked at the man that still had his hand around your waist. He sighed, "Why are you here?" he asked.
Jungoo shrugged, "Am I wrong to see you with this beautiful woman?" he snickered. But Jonggun didn't give a fuck about what he just said and walked with you to enter into his residence.
You turned at Junggo, then lowered your head and gestured 'sorry' to the blonde man.
Without you knew he putted his hands in his pockets, and thought. 'Perfect as the old man said.'
"Goo-kun~ You're fucking here, darl?" a woman was named Shimamura Rei walked toward him. Before he spoke, that woman punched his back, "Why you don't answer my call, huh?"
Goo rolled his eyes, "This little brat ..." he said.
"Just shut up, Goofy!"

You gave your father a side eyes, and he just smield stiffly at you. "Honey ... Please?" his tone became softer than before. "You never be lonely again, honey. As you told me when you were teenager, you like---"
You shushed your father, "Dad?! Shut up, don't bring it up."
Your father chuckled, "Well, it's already set. All that's left is your wedding date, it's up to you where you want to get married, in Japan or in Korea," he said. Then he bowed down before Jonggun, "I beg with all my life, please protect my only daughter, she is my most precious treasure."
You widened your eyes, didn't expecting that your father bowed before Jonggun. And Jonggun just nodded, that man reached your hand. "She'll always be my side and I can protect her with my own strength," he spoke.
"She's my light, my [Name]." he whispered, almost you couldn't hear it.
