So I haven't read Akagami no Shirayuki-Hime in years, but it has come up in recent dreams.

The first was some scenario where Shirayuki saves Obi from drowning (even though he can swim?). It can still work bc maybe he got paralyzed somehow if in real danger, or else if it's a joke could be a flirting tease/prank. If it's the first, could also be a way Shirayuki can ALSO save him by using her herbology, so being two kinds of badass. Either way, very entertaining.

The second was Zen having an aaaalmost kiss with Obi but then the tension broke and it didn't happen (but oh sweet Jesus if someone has a fic that sets this up right, that would be SO DELICIOUS. PLS rec me!).

And the third is me literally asking someone "but what if married Zen and Shirayuki realize their feelings for Obi and ask...well, I said threesome but I know I meant make a poly group or sth yk. Not nearly as interesting but this is the result, writing this post to actualize it:) But how WOULD that go...

This relationship is some how the healthiest portrayal of Polyamory in media, and they aren’t even canon.

Like they are, but they aren’t. This is the closest anything queer I’ve shipped has ever come to being cannon and it’s so bittersweet.

Good writers made this a love triangle, great writers would make this poly.
