Might as well post the only real thing I've written of Orion, my incubus/succubus character. This was written a long time ago and hasn't been edited. It also is part of a larger canon, so uh. Yeah there may be some confusing parts. 😅
Still, this is a good intro to Orion.
~
“Who are you? Have we met?”
“In a manner of speaking,” he shrugged, “Not us as we are.”
“You mean…?”
“I’m a reincarnation. And an After, like you.”
“How’d you know I’m an After?”
“I can sense it. With my abilities, I can sense the difference between a… well, a normal reincarnation and an After.”
“You’re not human…?” I ventured tentatively.
“I’m not,” he confirmed.
“And…?”
He grinned, “Let’s get to my place and then I’ll tell you everything. Hop in.”
He gestured at his car. Despite not knowing much about cars, I could easily see it was a very flashy, expensive car.
The man drove very fast, but he was leaned back in his seat, one hand on the steering wheel.
“You’re nervous,” he commented.
“I’m fine.”
“Your hands are shaking.”
“Okay, yeah, I’m nervous. I don’t know you. Have you ever met me before?”
“No, I haven’t but I’ve been told about you.”
“Oh…”
“All good things,” he assured me with a smile. “[Name], right?”
“Yeah… What’s your name?”
“I like to be called Orion.”
“Nice to meet you, I think…” I squirmed uncomfortably in my seat, feeling strange things rising inside me.
“My place isn’t far. Did you just fall out of the sky?”
“Yeah, just a bit before you found me.”
“Then it hasn’t hit you yet?”
“The nausea? Weakness? Not quite yet.”
“Lean back,” he warned, “Maybe close your eyes.”
“I’m fine so far. Just a bit… I don’t know. I feel weird.”
“Just try to relax. We’ll be there soon.”
I leaned back and closed my eyes, trying to focus on the sound of the road.
“Here we are,” he said.
We pulled in front of a very large house. A mansion, even. Shiny and white and modern.
“Fuck,” I breathed.
Orion chuckled and led the way inside. He stayed close by my side.
“This way.”
He led the way to a set of stairs and started to climb them. I paused at the bottom step and held the railing for support as I swayed. Orion looked back and frowned in concern.
“May I carry you?”
I nodded, my breathing becoming shaky. He scooped me into his arms easily. I leaned my head against his shoulder, my eyes closing. Even as the weakness and exhaustion of dimension travel overwhelmed me, I felt something inside awaken. I pressed my thighs together automatically.
Orion carried me up the stairs and to a bedroom, where he laid me on the bed. Once there, he removed my shoes and then covered me with a blanket. I squirmed uncomfortable.
“I am an incubus,” he told me, “You’re feeling the effect of my presence.”
“You… what?”
“As I said before, I’m not human. I feed on sexual energy and I bring that out in humans. It isn’t purposeful and I can’t stop it. I’ll let you get some sleep,” Orion turned the light out and closed the door.
~
Exhaustion won out and I fell asleep quickly. My dreams were full of vague ideas of sex. At one point in the night, I woke to a powerful orgasm. The room was pitch black but before I fell back asleep, I felt as if someone was there.
I went downstairs the next morning, feeling very refreshed, to find a breakfast waiting for me.
“Good morning,” Orion greeted.
“Morning… this is for me?”
“It is. Sit. Eat up.”
I acquiesced as Orion fiddled with the kitchen’s décor. I watched while he moved things around slightly, looked at it critically, and moved it again.
“Something wrong?” I asked.
“Not at all. [Name], do you think the salt and pepper shakers look better on the right or left of the knife block?”
“I think I don’t know enough about home decorating to have an opinion.”
“That’s fair.”
“Have the salt and pepper shakers done something wrong?”
He chuckled and shook his head, “I have a house showing today. I just want things to be perfect.”
“A showing?”
“I’m a real estate agent. A couple is coming to look at this house in two hours.”
“What?” I demanded, my jaw dropping.
“Don’t worry, you have time to eat. Before they come, I’ll make up your bed.”
“This isn’t your house?”
“No, I’m just staying here this week while I show it. Though, if all goes well today, I should have an offer before sundown.”
“We’re staying in someone else’s house?”
He frowned, tilting his head to the side curiously, “That bothers you?”
“It gives me a lot of anxiety. I don’t want to mess up someone else’s house!”
“How in the universe would you mess up a house, [Name]?” he asked reasonably, “Do you plan to punch a hole through a wall?”
“No, but—”
“Then there’s nothing you can do that wouldn’t be easily fixable. Even a hole in the wall could be fixed, albeit with a bit more work.”
My shoulders sagged, accepting he was right, however reluctantly.
“I can clean the room I was in,” I offered.
He waved a hand dismissively, “No, I’ve got it.”
“Is there anything I could do to help?”
“No offense, [Name], but I have a specific way of doing things. I’d rather take care if it all myself.”
“No offense taken. I understand that.”
Orion smiled, “I guess you do. Maybe we’ll be a pretty good fit then.”
“Or a bad one.”
“Oh?”
“If we both have our own ways of doing things and we never want to let the other do something, that could be an issue.”
“True, but ideally we have different things with no overlap. Now, you eat. I’m going to finish setting things up for the viewing.”
~
After I finished eating, Orion returned and cleaned my plate and silverware, carefully returning them to where they belonged.
“Where should I be?” I asked nervously.
“Where would you like to be?”
“I… I don’t want to be in the way.”
“You won’t be in the way, [Name]. It’s fine.”
“You don’t think I’ll ruin your careful aesthetic?”
“Nope.”
I took a deep breath and said, “Look, I have anxiety. Specifically social anxiety. I don’t want to be somewhere I’ll mess up your thing. Or even think that I could mess up your thing.”
Orion frowned as he appraised me, “I knew you had anxiety, but I guess I underestimated how much.”
“Most people do. It’s so bad that I barely left the house in my life. I didn’t have any friends because it hurt too much to talk to people.”
“Okay,” he leaned forward on the counter, looking at me seriously, “What do you need?”
“Ideally, I’d like to not be here while other people are here.”
“That isn’t possible. What’s something a step below that?”
“Why not?”
“Because I’m not ready for you to be somewhere out of my reach,” he replied, “I hope you can understand that.”
“Oh… Yeah, I understand.”
“Good. So you have to be in the house, but what can I do to make that easier for you?”
“Well… Tell me exactly what to do. Like, should I avoid the people?”
“You want to have to run from room to room avoiding them?”
“Not really, but…”
“Okay, come with me.” Orion started walking swiftly and I followed him. He gestured at a chair in the living room, “Sit.”
I sat.
“You want to know exactly what to do?”
“Yes.”
“Stay there and watch TV,” he said simply, moving to the TV and popping a DVD in, “I’ll have something unobtrusive playing, with the volume low. If you don’t mind sitting and not doing anything for about an hour, maybe two.”
“I don’t mind.”
“Good,” he gave me the remote after setting the volume very low.
“But… do I look okay?”
“You look wonderful. Now relax,” he ordered, “They’ll be here shortly.”
I turned the subtitles on for the movie while he moved away to make last minute adjustments to the house. Within a few minutes, the doorbell rang.
“Welcome!” Orion greeted, “I’m so glad you could make it. How was the drive?”
I didn’t pay attention to the small talk and instead attempted to focus on the movie. It was a romance, but kept my mind occupied.
The group started to move through the house, Orion showing them all the details. I worked really hard to focus on the subtitles while they were in the living room, but they didn’t even acknowledge me. They left, presumably moving to look at the bedrooms, and I let out a breath of relief.
About thirty minutes later, the group returned, moving to the kitchen which I could see across the way.
“This is beautiful, but…” the woman said hesitantly.
“This is a once in a lifetime house,” Orion told her, his voice low, “I have never seen anything like it on the market before.”
Something about the way he spoke had me squirming in my chair. The woman also seemed to respond as she fanned herself a bit.
“Can you just picture yourself sunbathing by the pool,” he said, gesturing out the window to the pool in the yard, “Your husband by your side. Enjoying a well earned day of relaxation.”
“Yeah,” she breathed, a little shakily.
“And that large bedroom,” Orion directed his attention to the man, “Just imagine all the possibilities there.”
“Yeah,” he said, his eyes far away.
“The two of you could live very happily here,” Orion continued, “Perhaps with many visitors that can also share in your pleasure of this house.”
There was no denying it anymore. He was purposefully bringing up sexual feelings to convince them to buy. And whatever ability he was using hit me as well.
“Let’s make an offer,” the woman told her husband, “I don’t want to miss our chance.”
“Agreed.”
“Wonderful, I have the paperwork right here.”
They got busy on all the logistics of the offer, which was wholly uninteresting. I’d been through that enough times. I refocused my attention on the movie, despite it not being much better.
The movie was just ending as the couple finally left.
“Incubus, huh?” I questioned, turning off the TV.
“Incubus,” he confirmed with a smile, “Sorry, you felt that too?”
“You used your powers to seduce them into making an offer?”
Orion sat on the couch across from me and shrugged, “You use what you have. Convincing people to buy multimillion dollar houses isn’t easy.”
My thighs were pressed tightly together and I could feel the sexual frustration building.
“I am sorry you were effected.”
“You said you couldn’t help it.”
“I can’t stop it, but I can make it stronger.”
I frowned at him, “Did you use that on me last night?”
“As I said, I can’t prevent it.”
“No, I mean while I was sleeping.”
“Ah… No, not purposefully.”
“Were you in my room?”
“Yes.”
“What?” I demanded.
“I could sense you were close to orgasm so I came to feed,” he said simply, “I didn’t purposefully cause it, but I can’t resist a feed.”
“You fed on me?”
“It made no difference to you.”
“What do you mean?”
“I feed on sexual energy released during orgasm. You were having an orgasm regardless, I just came to feed on the energy released. I didn’t touch you.”
I crossed my arms protectively over my chest.
“How does that work?” I asked.
“It’s complicated.”
“I have time.”
“Alright. Well, humans produce sexual energy. Different ones produce different amounts, and some don’t produce any. It builds up and is released during orgasm. It’s also what’s effecting you right now. I bring that energy to the surface.”
“So you’re feeding now?”
“No, it is only available to me during orgasm.”
“Stop saying that word,” I pleaded.
“It’s what it is,” he shrugged.
“Fine… So if you take too much, do people die?”
“You’ve been watching Lost Girl,” he chuckled, “No, that’s different. On that show, she feeds on life force. Sexual energy is different. It isn’t necessary to live and it naturally replenishes over time. I can drain people of every drop, and they’re fine. They may not be interested in sex for a while, but they’re fine. And as I said, some people don’t have any sexual energy.”
“Asexual people?”
“Some, yes.”
“And… me? You said some produce different amounts?”
“You’re about average in how much you have. Maybe on the high side of average.”
“How much did you take last night?”
“Not much. Only what was naturally released by your—”
I glared at him.
“Sorry,” he grinned.
“Have you met Damian?”
“Not yet, but I hear we’d get along very well.”
“Maybe… But mainly I’d be curious to know where he falls on the scale.”
“As am I. Vampires in general tend to be a bit higher. Heightened senses and desires, you know.”
“So… feeding… it doesn’t hurt them?”
“Not at all. I’m only taking what is already being released. I can use my ability to cause more to be released than would otherwise, but that’s it.”
“And last night… you didn’t take all of mine?”
“I did not. If I had, my ability likely wouldn’t be effecting you now. Again, I am sorry for that.”
I took a deep breath and said, “I understand you can’t help that, but you… you fed on me without asking.”
Orion frowned and leaned back in his chair, “I did, but it didn’t effect you at all.”
“I didn’t consent, though, and—”
“It didn’t effect you at all.”
“That doesn’t mean I don’t feel violated.”
“I told you, I didn’t touch you.”
“That’s not the point.”
He shrugged, “All I did was feed on the energy you released.”
“But—”
“I’m sorry my ability is effecting you,” Orion interrupted, “I have a potential solution, if you’re open to it.”
I frowned at him, “What solution?”
“I could take all your sexual energy so that you have none left to be influenced by me.”
“You… want to feed on me again?”
“Yes.”
I felt myself twitch between my legs.
“What… would that involve?” I asked hesitantly.
“I would assist you in achieving orgasm while drawing out all of your sexual energy. It likely would be the best orgasm you’ve ever experienced.”
“Wow.”
“That’s not me bragging about my skills as a lover,” he said, with a small grin, “It’s a simple fact that when more sexual energy is on the surface and then released, the orgasms are more intense.”
A small whimper came from my throat, unbidden, and I pressed my thighs together.
His smile grew, “I didn’t increase the use of my ability just now. That’s all you.”
“You can… sense my arousal?”
“Oh, yes. Yours is quite… potent. I take it that the idea appeals to you?”
“Obviously, but… What would you actually do?”
“What do you enjoy sexually? I could pleasure you orally, I could finger you, I could fuck you, you could fuck me… Take your pick.”
“I could fuck you?”
“Of course.”
“But… what do you enjoy?”
“I enjoy feeding, [Name]. The sex act itself matters very little to me. In fact, if you wanted, I don’t have to be involved. Would you prefer to watch a porn or read an erotica…?”
“Don’t you enjoy sex?”
“I don’t have the sex drive humans have. Only the drive to feed.”
