Sasha’s SWTOR Cinematic Universe

Been thinking bout this a lot lately so! Here’s the gist of things:

KOTOR era - 300+ BTC

Bria: aka Revan. Most notable to the SWTOR timeline for her great-plus-grandson, who ends up claiming to be her reborn and dragging her Force ghost out of retirement to shut his ass down -___-

Alisya: aka the Jedi Exile

The Old Guard - <0 ATC

Juno: Became a freedom fighter on Wobani after her granddaughter Alayne was taken by the Sith. Nearly died trying to liberate the planet from Imperial control, joined the Republic forces, ended up in Havoc Squad. Truly despises the Empire and therefore didn’t defect alongside the original squad, but ultimately forced to flee due to her own crimes. Uneasy alliance with and sometimes-mentor to Baz, who she is helping from afar to hunt down the traitors. Ultimately makes Port Nowhere her home.

Sharryn: Formerly a trainer in the Jedi Temple, forever changed when she witnessed the deaths of her students during the sacking of Coruscant. Stepped away from the order for many years, but reluctantly returned to take up teaching on Tython and the urging of her good friend Yuon Par. Became a mentor to Yuon’s apprentice Tibor when her illness incapacitated her.

Iona: Obviously saying no to the Sith had never been an option, but Iona was one of the first kids to be taken for the express purpose of being sent to Korriban during the war. Adoptive sister to Brin.

The Grownups - 5-10 ATC

Alayne: This one’s a bit tricky, because technically she shares the Inquisitor storyline with Aislin (more about that later). Kidnapped from her grandmother Juno long before actually being sent to Korriban, all Alayne ever wanted was to be Sith, but predictably, it was never enough. However, when the extent of the Empire’s cruelty hits home personally, her loyalties waver, but when Valkorian abandons the Empire, that dosen’t stop her from declaring herself Empress in his stead. Ultimately, her children are what save her; despite the conflict that arises when her adoptive son Yuhanos’ biological mother Yulishin re-enters the picture, she can’t help but see the Empire’s interference with both her and Yulishin’s motherhood experiences, which eventually leads her back to the light.

Brin: Grew up in an adoptive Twi’lek family on Nar Shaddaa. Sister to Iona. Eventual mentor to Dagny.

Yulishin: A staunch opponent of the Empire, she was exiled from Chiss space after it was discovered she was feeding information to the Republic, and was forced to leave her infant son Yuhanos behind. After reaching out to her old contacts, her Force-sensitivity was discovered, and she was sent to train on Tython. She completes her training under Orgus Din, and while there, befriends his other apprentice Vesper

The Main Crew - 10 ATC

Baz: Canon Republic Trooper; brother to Aislin, cousin to Vesper, Tanith, Tibor, second cousin to Dagny, mentored by Juno

Vesper: Canon Jedi Knight; sister to Tanith and Tibor, cousin to Baz and Aislin, second cousin to Dagny. She navigates the world through the Force due to her blindness, and relies heavily on her friend Yulishin while learning to do so

Noak: Canon Smuggler; married to Aislin.

Aislin: She shares the Sith Inquisitor storyline with Alayne, who becomes her master after Lord Kallig reveals that they’re distantly related. She spends most of the first half of the storyline searching for her husband Noak, and is sister to Baz, as well as cousin to Vesper, Tanith, and Tibor, and second cousin to Dagny.

Tanith: Eventually the Outlander; still figuring out her relation to the rest of Team Wrath. Sister to Vesper, twin to Tibor, cousin to Baz and Aislin, second cousin to Dagny,

Tibor: Canon Jedi Consular. Brother to Vesper and twin to Tanith, cousin to Baz and Aislin, second cousin to Dagny. Sharryn becomes his mentor after his master Yuon Par becomes ill; while all the Kallig kids are fairly middle-of-the-road alignment-wise, he is definitely the most dark-side-leaning, in no small part due to her influence.

Dagny: Canon Bounty Hunter, second cousin to Baz, Vesper, Aislin, Tanith, and Tibor. Is mentored by Brin for much of the Great Hunt.

Sonja: Canon Imperial Agent. No biological connection to the Kalligs, but definitely crosses paths with them on more than one occasion.

The Next Generation - >10 ATC

Yuhanos: Son to Alayne (adoptive) and Yulishin (biological), brother to Iskra. The Empire’s Wrath.

Iskra: Adoptive daughter to Alayne and sister to Yuhanos. Member of Team Wrath.

Lutheia: Grew up tending to her smuggler father’s wounds. After his death, she wound up on Coruscant, where she ended up joining up with the Black Sun as a medic. She then ended up joining Noak’s crew at the behest of Rona Riggs, in order to keep an eye on Rona’s cousin Corso, and eventually crossed paths with her aunt Sharryn.

Heyyyy, what’s up, guys? I’m not dead! :D

It’s been a while, I’ve had to take a little impromptu hiatus to get myself on track and focus on other things. But I’m back and I have a ton of new stuff to share with you all!!

Starting with these gals right here.

Some of you may be familiar with these two already (especially if you’ve visited my Insta or are in a Discord server with me), but for those who aren’t--

This is Eliana (left, “Ellie” for short) and Iona (right) - they’re two of the 2nd Gen Tangled kiddos that @koilada and I created. I’ll post more details about them in the near future, but for now, just enjoy these few little tidbits:

- Ellie is the “eldest” child of Eugene and Rapunzel; she has a twin brother named Laurie, but was technically born first, which she insists makes her the oldest. Ellie looooves to dance - she rarely goes anywhere without her dancing shoes (even though they’re not the most practical attire for every situation.) While generally very polite, compassionate, and responsible - she can have a bit of a bratty streak at times and, much like her father, takes a good deal of pride in her appearance.

- Iona is the daughter, and only child, of Cassandra and Varian; she’s nearing two years younger than the twins, but that doesn’t stop her from playing ring leader and getting them into trouble on a regular basis. Iona is Ellie’s best friend, the two have been inseparable since the day their parents introduced them. In stark contrast to Ellie’s more mature and ladylike demeanor, Iona is Corona’s little wrecking ball; she makes trouble wherever she goes (not always intentionally) and very often gets herself, and the twins, into sticky situations. She’s as cunning and mischievous as she is sweet and lovable, and is well aware of her own adorable charm.

wait. quick question. i was reading through the masterpost for marriage of state, and i noticed that in some drafts, joey is married to xornoth, but in others it's someone called iona? what's the relation between these three?

So Joey and Xornoth are not actually married, they’re having an extremely public and scandalous affair. (Because Joey is incapable of not swooning dramatically on sight)

Iona is a background original character made to fill a role but I’ve grown fond of her even if she won’t really feature that much, as she is more of a worldbuilding tool than an actual character. She’s an elvish noblewoman that Xornoth married early in their reign to stabilize some unrest within the population.

She and Xornoth have an amicable, 1000% platonic working relationship. She lives in the house that is nominally Xornoth’s and Xornoth lives in Scott’s house. She does have a “roommate”/attendant who is either her girlfriend or her queer-platonic life partner, I’m leaning towards the latter.

Joey and Iona don’t really interact outside of the occasional international formal function. She doesn’t really like him that much but that has more to do with personality clash than his relationship with Xornoth.

Joey is overall indifferent to Iona, and has been once it was established she wasn’t going to be an obstacle in his pursuit of Xornoth.

Xornoth is mildly stressed and entirely confused about how they ended up here. (Scott thinks it’s funny but also he and Joey are extremely bitchy at each other at all times and that is the source of most of Xornoth’s stress on the matter.)

Replaying from the beginning, I don't think I'll ever get over the fact that Astarion actually expected us to not immediately clock that he's a vampire. And I know this has been said before, but it's so hilarious.

He's over there, thinking himself suave and secretive, with such decor as...

A clearly bloody glass cup sitting right in front of his tent, in a puddle of blood, as the very first thing you see

another bloody goblet at his feet, with stains that do not look anything like wine on his white carpet

jars of blood inside his open tent, complete with a very clear bloodstain on the pallet under his bedroll

this clearly labeled bloodbank jar, covered in bloodstains, just on the table right next to him

this veritable dinner table napkin covered in blood, and of course, the pièce de résistance,

the fucking mirror in clear view, angled perfectly so that if he wasn't a vampire, you should be able to see his ass in it in premier plan when approaching from the campfire.

Not only is he very clearly a vampire, but he's also an excessively messy eater, which honestly makes the fact that he is only revealed on the third night a downright humiliating admonishment of the party's collective intelligence.

(Though, armed with the knowledge that he cannot seem to keep blood in his mouth, there is also some real potential here for the first act of physical tenderness he experiences in centuries to be the player character just... absently wiping a drop of their blood off his chin with their hand after a feeding.)

#not the first feeding of course but like the third maybe #i think i'll headcanon that iona did that #just an unconscious action; a very simple and natural expression of care #he jerks back ofc like she slapped him #like he had just lifted off her and they're both still slightly dazed #they're looking at each other for a moment from like... three inches away still; catching their respective breaths #and she just said “here; let me just--” and... did it. without thinking #and it's weirdly intimate and kind of awkward the next day but they both decide to not mention it #baldur's gate 3 #squirrel plays bg3 #(yes I know Astarion doesn't need to breathe and I've said so before)#(but I still have decided that I like to think “faking” it comes as naturally as... well as breathing should)#(I do think he is prone to temporarily forgetting to breathe in emotionally charged moments though)#oc: iona raedir
