Drawing Contest!!

Hey guys! I’m doing a drawing contest! Here are the rules and qualifications as well as prizes for winners!

DEADLINE APRIL 20th

Rules:

You have to draw at least one of my characters as seen below

You cannot draw something else, you won’t be disqualified or anything just have to draw someone different if you still want to

Be respectful I guess (no nsfw)

You can add different clothes or smth just don’t change their designs (I mean if you make them human that’s okay!)

Anyone can join!! That means YOU!! If you want, you can draw more than one thing! That might make your chances of winning higher :)

1st place prize: follow, fully rendered and shaded drawing with background of your choice!

2nd place prize: flat colors with background of your choice!

3rd place prize: line art drawing (the line art can be colored if you want it to be!) with no additional color!

I'm a bit secretive when it comes to my OCs, but I recently commed @cleumuu (highly recommend, 5 stars, so obsessed with cleu's work ALWAYS) and with the recent reveal of Yuuka I figured I'd share my Yuu!

(She's the Yuu/OC I ship with Sebek. Back in their world, they were best friends with Sebek, so Odie has some trouble figuring out their current feelings for him. How much is just the carry over from their world? Does she actually see him for him? How are they supposed to feel when someone with the face that they've known and loved all their life suddenly doesn't know them and doesn't care for them 👍)

I hadn’t really planned to color this but I’ve suddenly gotten more of a drive to do color again, and I really liked how the original sketch came out, so I decided to give it a try.

Some other things I did was ink it, give Reese some irises and pupils, and mess around a bit with textures again by adding it to his sweater. I also tried to add texture to couch/sofa thingy he’s sitting on, but I’m not sure how well it can be seen… 

 I had a lot more fun with this than I thought I would. I actually almost didn’t finish coloring this, but I decided to keep at it and I’m overall quite happy with the outcome. I tried to make it look like Reese is at a nightclub of some sort. I’m working on writing up his bio and learning more about him, but one concept I think I’m liking about him so far is him being in a band and that he plays at clubs and such as the drummer.

So maybe this was a picture taken of him chilling after a performance. And of course this would be set in a colder time of year. Either that or the place he’s at is cold and the AC’s too high lol.
