Hey, you got any Dangan OCs I can borrow? Trying to make a collection of them for a “Komaru gets into Hope’s Peak as the Ultimate Childcare Giver” AU.

I don’t have Dangan OCs in the regular DR world as I don’t want to mess around with the plot too much. I kinda just had ideas one day like “what if I made some people and put them in a DR-like scenario” xD So you can borrow one/some of them if you so desire, I just don’t know if this is what you’re looking for as this is more DR inspired than anything. Here are the full bodies and a couple sentences about them.

My idea for their world is: Some government is trying to make a small, perfect, society entirely composed of talented individuals. You must also have a squeaky clean record to not pose a threat.

These OCs are talented young adults who were put into a containment center after they committed a low-offense crime and are getting a chance to remove their charges. In this center, they will live as neighbors and learn how to integrate into the new society. Once they’ve shown they can handle it for at least a year they will all move on and “pass” to the actual one.

……Except that’s just what they’ve been told. In reality, the director of the containment center(referred to as Judge) is looking for one finalist to dub “Ultimate Law Enforcer” and only pass them.

Every week, there is a trial staged by the Judge to figure out which of the group did the worst deed in the past 7 days and whoever is declared so will be taken into the “correction room”. This is an isolated room where the victim is basically scared, tortured, and punished in order to not repeat the “bad” action again. As you can guess, that does not do well for their mental health and the offender could easily crack under the pressure and start committing worse actions than what they did to dub them a criminal. The Judge of course doesn't care. He believes the last one standing will know all the laws in the end, and if they could get rid of the other useless criminals, even better.

Thats it besides the little bit of character info in the drawing, borrow whoever you want xD (There is a bit more about a few of them but I don’t think you need every little thing) If you're going to put them in hopes peak, all I ask is that somewhere in their backstory, add that they were in jail for a year-ish and had to redo a grade or two.

R. Respect: What qualities does your OC admire in other people?

✨ Miriam Hawke ✨ He admires Miriam, she's the only person he actually gets along with and he has no idea why. Maybe it's the fact that he's created his own idealized version of her (they used to exchange letters for years but didn't have a chance to actually spend some time together until their reunion in Kirkwall) or the fact that she's the exact opposite of him. I mean, she doesn't care about anyone's opinions, she doesn't really care about anything to be honest, he wishes he could do that. It might also be the fact that she's the only person who doesn't make him feel worthless. Anyways, he can't really tell what qualities he admires in people, sometimes he just meets someone and thinks ''wow''. It's usually people who are older/smarter/more experienced than him though.

V. Value: Is your OC more selfish or selfless? What would they sacrifice for a loved one? What would they sacrifice for a stranger?

Oh, he'd like to say he's selfish but I have to disagree, I'd say he's somewhere in-between. What would he sacrifice for a loved one? Absolutely everything. And for a stranger? Well, he did save this one annoying elf's life even though he was wounded and had no idea where to go. He also gave him his food, he probably regretted it later but Seva has that effect on people.

Y. Young: How has your OC been influenced by their past? Are they a better person because of their past, or a worse one?

Cillian's always been a very shy person, he never had any friends and his relationship with his mother was complicated, to say the least - she was generally a really toxic person. His father died when he was six, that's when his mother fell into depression which made things even worse. He loved her but he also hated her for hurting him and making him feel like he wasn't worthy of her love - he was an only child and therefore an heir to his family so that didn’t make it easier. I'd say this was when Cill first started to think that he needed to earn people's affection and it's gotten to the point where he became obsessed. He was taken to the Circle at the age of 9, he felt extremely lonely, he missed his mother and was terrified with the idea of dissapointing her. He started seeing one of the teachers as a mother figure, he unwittingly chose a person who wasn't satisfied with any of his achievements - while another rejection was painful, it was the sort of pain so familiar that it almost felt comforting. Long story short, these and other similar experiences led to the development of Cillian's toxic relationship patterns. He doesn't get attached to people easily but once he does, he gets extremely jealous and fixated on them, he always feels like he isn't enough and takes rejection very personally. He also deals with lots of intense, often conflicting emotions that he has no idea how to process - he was taught that showing them was a weakness. I can't tell if his past made him into a better or a worse person, despite all his problems he's a really sensitive person who wants to make the world at least a slightly better place, he just needs someone to pay for his therapy first 🙃

Seva

I'd say kindness. He doesn't judge people by their cover, he really doesn't care if they're smart, shy, talented or anything else as long as they're kind. He's like a labrador puppy who'll gladly follow you around if he considers you a good person.

V. Value: Is your OC more selfish or selfless? What would they sacrifice for a loved one? What would they sacrifice for a stranger?

Definitely selfless, he's the kind of person who loves making others smile and tries to see the best in people, at least most of the time. The Blight changed his attitude a lot but he's not a Cillian level pessimist yet. He'd sacrifice whatever it takes for his people and loved ones. As for strangers - it depends, he found an orphaned Qunari girl and took her in  - he basically adopted Asin, she's his child now and I don't make the rules. He's not very fond of humans though so I'd say they are the only exception. He probably wouldn't help a human in need, aside from Cillian and Wynne of course.

Y. Young: How has your OC been influenced by their past? Are they a better person because of their past, or a worse one?

It's safe to say that his childhood and teenage years were the best time of his life. He was happy, always surrounded by friends and family - this might have contributed to the fact that he was never properly taught to deal with loneliness. He struggles a lot with that, he's also not used to silence, it makes him feel extremely uncomfortable. I'd say he grew up a bit sheltered, he had no idea what the world outside of his clan looked like and wasn't ready to face the harsh reality. Still, these are very minor things, the event that affected him the most was definitely watching the members of his clan being slaughtered and pretty much everything that happened later (the battle of Ostagar and the Blight). He became very withdrawn. He was never a vengeful person, he used to believe everyone deserved to live, he even promised to never pick up a sword but those events changed his attitude completely. He no longer believes in justice unless he's the one who serves it - he makes sure it's painful.

V. Value: Is your OC more selfish or selfless? What would they sacrifice for a loved one? What would they sacrifice for a stranger?

Selfish or maybe extremely pragmatic. He actually feels bad about it, sometimes. There are moments  when he tries to convince himself that he's doing things out of good will but there's something like a quiet voice in the back of his head calculating what will he gain from it and he just can't get rid of that voice. He would sacrifice a lot for his loved ones but he probably wouldn't give his life for them. Well,  the older Marcel would but the older Marcel knows that he's going to die soon anyway and, to be honest, he can't wait for it so I don't think you can call that a sacrifice. And for a  stranger? Not much but, once again, it depends on what would he get in return.

Y. Young: How has your OC been influenced by their past? Are they a better person because of their past, or a worse one?

Marcel's spent most of his childhood running away from the Templars. His mother, Revka,  wasn't really used to the harsh conditions they both found themselves in so he was forced to grow up fast and depend mostly on himself, being locked up in the Circle certainly didn't help. All of these experiences shaped him into a rather private person - don't get me wrong, he loves attention, he loves being praised, he's very charismatic and loves talking to people, just not about himself. He has some serious trust issues, he struggles to maintain relationships, he can't express affection and the thought of showing his vulnerability to anyone terrifies him. Of course he hides all those things behind a mask of sarcasm. I should also mention that Morrigan's betrayal affected him deeply. She was his first love, the only person he's ever been this vulnerable with and she broke his heart and made a fool out of him. After that he became really cold and reserved in his relationships, he'd promised himself that he'd never allow it to happen again. He started hurting the ones he loved on purpose, this sort of made him feel like he had an upper hand. He actually did the same thing Morrigan did to him, he left his daughter and pregnant wife without a word and never saw them again.

What would Cillian think about Lara Cousland?

Oh, she's one of those Fereldan nobles, huh? He's not a fan of Fereldan nobility, seeing as he's one of them 🤠 He's not fond of the Grey Wardens either, though he used to be - is?? can you really quit? - one as well so he wouldn't blame her for that. He could blame her for dabbling in blight magic or other things people shouldn't mess with but that'd make him a hypocrite. Still, somehow she reminds him of Marcel, maybe a bit more grim. Marcel is another person/thing he's not a fan of but that doesn't mean he wouldn't get along with Lara. They share similar feelings regarding the Wardens, they both have their own reason for that and I think it's something they could sort of bond over. He probably wouldn't admit it but he finds her intimidating. She's the sort of person he's always wanted to be, she's strong and confident and she does what needs to be done no matter the price - he doesn't necessarily agree with her decisions, he's seen where it can lead to, but he admires her for her courage. He wouldn't trust her as a leader but he believes her intentions are good, he'd love to talk about more and less important things with her, he's sure it'd be an extremely interesting conversation. There's, like, 90% chance it'd turn into a very heated discussion. He also thinks she should dump Morrigan before she hurts her and he's more than sure she will.
