The second oldest of Spark Squad: Pillow/Throwpillow! He's always rushing into fights and enjoys sparring with his brothers, so that's why he's got a bruise. He shaves his head because hair just gets in his way.

“I just want to be alone right now” - Sketch :)
Thank you so much for the prompt, Terra! I didn't find a place to insert Sketch into my last prompt, so I'm so happy to have gotten this one!
From this ask game. Also, guys, writing this angst is so much fun, so please feel free to send in more.
Warnings: child abuse (physical, verbal, and emotional).
Sketch huffed out another angry noise as he stormed into the Guard barracks behind Pillow, Ghost, and Morale. There was no way he would've let them get back behind him, not after what had just happened.
The four of them had been excited to go to 79's for the first time. When they had still been on Kamino, sometimes older brothers from the frontlines would talk about Coruscant and 79's. Sketch knew Pillow and Morale had been exceptionally excited, though Ghost looked like he could've taken it or left it.
Now off Kamino - finally, Sketch couldn't help from thinking with a chill - and in the Coruscant Guard, they had just gotten their armour painted and dried when they decided they would go to the bar. Morale had informed their Sergeant, Karma, who had seemed nervous about it. Mere minutes after meeting her, Sketch hadn't thought he would ever see her nervous. She had tried to talk them out of it but, realizing how stubborn they were, had asked some of the older vode to go with them.
Sketch had been offended at the thought of Sergeant Karma not trusting him to take care of his squad. He should've listened to her and found something else to do while off shift.
He looked up from the ground when he heard Pillow hiss in pain. Morale was trying to gently examine his right eye, which Sketch could see from where he was standing, was definitely swollen. He wondered if his left eye looked any better, as it was currently throbbing.
"Maybe we should take you both to the medbay," Morale fretted, gaze going back and forth between Sketch and Pillow.
"It'll be a black eye, at worst, Mor'ika. Don't worry about it," Pillow assured him. "Besides," he scoffed, only to flinch a bit, "he barely got me."
Morale bit his lip. "If you say so..."
Ghost sighed, annoyance clear. "Did you have to punch him, Pillow?"
Pillow glared at him. "He deserved it; he was gonna make Morale cry!"
Morale had been so happy for the first half hour at 79's, along with Pillow. Sketch had decided it would be best not to stay too long, as Ghost had been looking overwhelmed and annoyed by the noise. Still, Morale had been excitedly talking about how much he liked being in the Guard, both because of the new vode he'd met and just being off Kamino. Then, a brother in blue armour, likely drunk from how he'd been walking, had come over to their table, only to start hurling insults at Morale himself, the others at the table, and the Coruscant Guard in general. Their youngest had looked ready to cry, Pillow jumping up to throw a punch and Sketch had frozen at the insults - Can you not even protect your squad, pathetic little clone? - and hadn't snapped back until the vod in blue had been aiming another punch at Pillow. Sketch had jumped between them and gotten punched.
At least Sketch was finally doing something to protect his brothers, and a pang in his chest went out to Duke and Trick, who he had continuously failed.
"Sketch?" The oldest of Spark Squad was broken from his thoughts by Morale, whose voice was soft and eyes were wide with worry for him.
Sketch didn't deserve it.
He jerked away when Morale laid a hand on his shoulder. "Go away, Morale."
"Ori'vod-"
"Leave me alone! I just want to be alone right now!” Sketch yelled.
The other three just stared at him, shocked. Sketch almost never lost his cool. He groaned, rising to his feet when the others made no move to leave. He left the barracks, ignoring them calling for him to come back. They would be safe in the Guard headquarters.
He made his way through the headquarters to what he'd heard older troopers call the breakdown closet. Despite his anger and sadness, Sketch wasn't stupid enough to leave the barracks after what happened at 79's.
Ignoring the noise form the training room, Sketch knocked on the closet door. When there was no noise beyond it, he opened it and went inside, barricading the door so no one could disturb him.
Sketch sat down, put his arms on his knees and his head in his hands. Why was he such a fucking failure? He'd had insults hurled at him and his brothers his entire life, why was it only now that he froze like that?
Then, both he and Pillow had gone and gotten into a fight. Fighting wasn't allowed. What was going to happen to them? What punishment would they have to undergo? Sketch inhaled. He didn't want Pillow to go through any pain; Sketch was familiar with the pain that came with punishment, he could handle it. He knew how to take it, but Pillow didn't.
The smack that echoed through the room did nothing to hide the sound of Sketch crying out as the cold, hard instrument struck his arm.
"CT-6759," The trainer intoned, grabbing the young boy's chin to force eye contact. "You are your squad leader; any failure is your fault. You will keep your squad under control. There shall be no more defectiveness."
They had already grabbed Duke, dragging him away kicking and screaming. Sketch knew he would never see him again. He wouldn't let that happen to Pillow, Ghost, or Morale. "Yes sir."
Sketch lost track of how long he was in the closet. Eventually, he unbarricaded the door and opened it. To his surprise, right across from him, was the rest of Spark Squad, fast asleep on the floor. Pillow was leaning against the wall, head tilted back in a way that couldn't be comfortable. Ghost had his head on Pillow's shoulder. Morale was laying with his head on Pillow's lap.
His gaze softened at the sight of them.
I'm so sorry. I'll protect you, I promise.

hii helllo, i would love to know more about spark squad. could i get these from the oc ask game for each of them <3
3. Do they have any bad habits?
32. Whats the most valuable thing in their possession?
Spark Squad!!!! I was happy when I got this; I haven't had much interest in my boys lately, so this was great to wake up to! Thank you! <3
3. Do they have any bad habits?
Duke: He placed the lives of everyone is his squad higher than his own and would protect them with little regard for his own life. This is what ultimately led to the Kaminoans decommissioning him.
Sketch: His bad habits only really started to surface after they lost Duke. In order to protect them, Sketch initially started to distance himself to protect them like Duke had, but they refused to let Sketch have the same fate as him. He also tends to hide things from the others to keep them safe. This last one only really became a problem once he got to the Guard, but his lack of trust in authority figures (including brothers sometimes) meant he didn't respond well to the squad having to take orders from higher Guard members. He gets better, though.
Pillow/Throwpillow: When he starts to feel emotions like fear and sadness, he doesn't like dealing with them as they're presented, so he lashes out in anger instead. He's, uh - he's working on it. The other bad habit he has developed once he was with the Guard; he would snap his finger when calling someone over to him. He associates this with being a bad habit because he spent a lot of time with asshole senators who do this and he accidentally picked it up.
Ghost: His only really bad habit is getting lost in his head. If he feels like his insecurities are getting the best of him, he kinda shuts down or becomes sullen and moody.
Morale: Similar to Pillow, he doesn't really like dealing with emotions deemed 'negative'. Instead of anger, though, he buries those 'negative' emotions, covering them up with a happy facade and refusing to acknowledge the underlying issue. His only other bad habit started after he lost the other three while in the Guard: he started having trouble with alcohol. He was working on it, especially once he tried taking on the 'ori'vod' role to a shiny, but then, you know, Order 66 happened. :)
32. What's the most valuable thing in their possession?
Sketch: One valuable thing is a picture he drew after they lost Duke of their entire squad. Otherwise, just his art supplies.
Duke: Besides little drawings from Sketch, he didn't live long enough get something.
Pillow/Throwpillow: The picture Sketch drew of their squad is really the only valuable thing he wants or needs.
Ghost: The picture Sketch drew of their squad is one valuable thing to him. The other was a stuffed massiff given to him by Sergeant Hound.
Morale: The picture Sketch drew of their squad is one valuable thing to him. The other would have to be his datapad. It's where he has messages from his brothers saved and pictures he's taken with them all.
I have an old mutual who drew the picture I'm talking about and sent it to me. I don't feel comfortable posting it on here without her permission, but if you'd like to see it, Terra, message me on here or Discord and I can show it to you.

“I– I think I need to sit down.” With some of the spark squad boys?
Spark Squad!!!! Thanks so much for the prompt, Hadiya! I hope you enjoy. <3
From this ask game.
Warnings: off-screen character death(s)
Ghost ran through the cloning facility, looking through every nook and cranny that he found. He had spent his entire life, almost eight years, living in this facility and learning the layout, but as he searched for Pillow and 43, his knowledge of the place was vanished into thin air.
Worry sparked through him at the thought of remaining Separatist forces still in his home and that being the reason he couldn't Pillow or 43. What if all he could find of them was a dead body, like the many other brothers that Grievous, Ventress, and the droids had killed? What if they were long gone like Duke?
He swallowed his worry. He knew the likelihood of finding both his brothers alive wasn't high, especially because Sketch and Morale had already been accounted for and were safe. They hadn't even finished their training yet so the Jedi would know they were ready for battle. If trained soldiers from the 501st and Rancor Battalion couldn't survive, how could two cadets?
They had needed as many troopers as they could to help protect Kamino and the little brothers that couldn't protect themselves yet, so Spark Squad had been called to duty early. Ghost wondered if they would be made to run through the Citadel after they had already proved themselves.
Ghost made a sharp turn around the corner, blinking back tears at the sight of more bodies of his brothers. There was a scattering of droids and many of the brothers had slashes instead of blaster wounds. As he made his way down the hall, he was careful to avoid stepping or tripping on any of his brothers. Please don't be Pillow or 43.
Making it further down the hall, Ghost noticed a body that wasn't laid out on the floor like the others. It was sitting upright and not leaning against anything, armour that was once shiny, but now covered in the grime of battle like Ghost's was. Someone alive.
"Hey! Are you okay?" Ghost called out, voice desperate. The brother didn't respond, face turned down as they looked at something on the ground.
Ghost got closer and closer. He was able to catch more features of the sitting brother; head completely shaved and face covered in marks from training. Ghost would know those marks anywhere.
"Pillow!" Ghost skidded to a stop next to him. "What happened? Why..." His question trailed off as he looked down at who, not what, Pillow was looking. Ghost went cold. "Is...Is that 43?" His voice was small.
"Trick," Pillow said, voice low and dull. Ghost can't remember ever hearing him sound like that.
"Huh?" Ghost questioned. "Trick what?"
"That's his name. He told me before he-" Pillow swallowed "-before he died."
Ghost felt like he couldn't breath, so he removed his helmet. Looking at 43 - Trick - with his bare eyes made it worse. Still staring at their dead squad member, Pillow reached up a hand to grip Ghost's.
“I– I think I need to sit down," is all Ghost managed to get out before collapsing next to Pillow, who held him close in a grounding, steady grip. Sitting in Pillow's tight hold for a few silent minutes, even Ghost's tears made no noise, Ghost began to feel a bit more like himself. "W-why Trick?"
Pillow's breath hitched and Ghost was struck by the realization that he had heard his slightly older brother cry in a long time. "He saved me," Pillow admitted, voice so quiet that Ghost had to strain to hear him. "When Grievous came for us, Trick threw himself on top of me when he got slashed by a lightsaber. He played dead until they were all gone. He... He tricked Grievous, for me."
He tightened his grip on Pillow, who reached a hand into Ghost's long hair to begin playing with it. Staring at the dead brother in front of him, Ghost could admit that he'd never been close to Trick; the only one who seemed to be was Morale. Brought in about six months after they'd lost Duke, Trick had very much been a replacement for Duke in the Kaminoans' eyes. Right from the beginning, they all had noticed something off about him. Trick had been skittish around everyone, an obsession with following orders, hadn't wanted a name, and hadn't had many memories of life before Spark Squad. It was only later, overhearing the whispers from older brothers, that Ghost had realized it was reconditioning.
He'd started to grow into himself, though, and move past what hell the Kaminoans had put him through. He's even finally chosen a name. But he wouldn't get to live with it.
Ghost let out a sob at the thought, pulling out of Pillow's grip to hug Trick close to him. He was so happy that Pillow was alive, but why did their brother, who'd started to heal, have to die for it to happen? First Duke for Morale and now Trick for Pillow.
Spark Squad just kept failing their brothers.

8, 12, 23, 34 !
Thank you for the ask! <3
From this ask game.
8. Which OC prefers flowing clothes? Tight clothes?
Honestly, I think all of them would prefer flowing clothes over tight clothes. Tight clothes restrict their movement too much. Pillow likes flowing clothes the most, though. He spends a lot of time training and flowing clothes are more comfortable. Amber wears tight clothes more than any of them, but it's only when he goes to a bar.
12. What OC is the best at dealing with stress? How do they deal with it?
As he gets older, definitely Ghost. He's able to step back from a stressful situation, do something to relax (take care of his hair or cuddle with the massiffs), and then come back with a clear head.
23. Which OC dog ears pages? Which OC thinks that’s an ABOMINATION?
Both Coral and Pillow dog ear pages; Coral because it's quicker and Pillow does it to piss off Sketch and Ghost, who hate it when pages are ruined.
34. Which OC is chronically online?
Neither Coral or Amber are, but all of Spark Squad (as adults) would be online a lot for different reasons. Sketch would be looking at pictures to draw, Ghost is looking at hair-care techniques, Morale is researching mental health, and Pillow is looking at foods from different cultures.

7, 17, and 30 for all of spark squad? Thank you <3
Spark Squad!!! I've been so busy thinking about Amber lately, I haven't had any time for my original boys.
Thanks for the ask!
From this ask game.
7. What things in real life make you think of an OC?
Sketch: Two things for this guy. One is my older brother, because he always tries to do what is best for me and takes his role as my older sibling very seriously. The second is whenever my Mum and I go to an art store, I'll always end up browsing the drawing supplies and thinking, "Sketch would love this!"
Duke: Also my older brother. The intensity and levels he would go to for his brothers always makes me think of my brother.
Pillow/Throwpillow: Exercise and foods classes. Pillow is very enthusiastic about working out and later becomes interested in foods from different cultures, so whenever I do something along those lines, I dedicate a thought to him.
Ghost: Dogs. My introverted boy is very much an animal, specifically dog, person. He feels they understand him better than most people.
Morale: For Morale, I'd have to say the online games I used to play when I was growing up. A lot of them have really good stories that I think he'd love and they're not too challenging.
17. Who is your favourite OC?
Wow, this is a mean question. xD If I had to pick and I could only choose one, it would have to be Morale. All the others in Spark Squad were originally created to just be Morale's dead older brothers - as a matter of fact, in my first one-shot with their appearance, all of them except Morale were already dead. Of course, I did start developing them later on, but Morale will always hold a special place in my heart because he's the first on I wrote for.
30. Which OC has been the hardest to develop/design so far?
This one's a lot easier: Duke. Duke, along with the others in Spark Squad, was dead when he was first mentioned. The difference between him and the others, though, is that he's been dead a lot longer; he was still relatively young on Kamino when he died. This has made it more difficult to give him a personality outside of what got him killed. I think I'm getting there. xD

Do they carry a water bottle? Does it have stickers on it? For spark squad 👀 and if they do have stickers I’d love to know what they are
*does a little dance* I'm loving all the Spark Squad love. Please don't let this end.
2. Do they carry a water bottle? Does it have stickers on it?
Uuuhhh, for efficiency purposes, I think they'd all have a water bottle on them, just so they don't have to constantly go get a drink. That doesn't mean they always use their own, though. Spark Squad is known to take each other's.
As for stickers...
Sketch: He does have stickers! Not a lot, but some. He mostly has little stickers of art supplies. The only other stickers he has are daisies. He saw them in a senator's office once and really liked how they looked and smelled.
Duke: If he'd gotten the chance to go to Coruscant, I do think he'd have gotten stickers. They would be entirely miscellaneous with no pattern, rhyme, or reason. Pure chaos, kinda like him.
Pillow: No stickers for this guy. However, he did paint it. It's got designs in red, for the Coruscant Guard, and blue, for the 501st because he gets along with them pretty well.
Ghost: Massiffs. That's it.
Morale: At the beginning, he had stickers to try and make people happy. Smiley faces, rainbows, and things like that. After losing Sketch, Throwpillow, and Ghost, he got five customized stickers. Each sticker had the name of one of his brothers: Sketch, Duke, Throwpillow, Ghost, and Trick.

Hello, dear! You've been visited by the random character question fairy! :D ~☆
What are the five most influential relationships (lovers, friends, enemies, mentors, etc.) that your character has/had? How have these relationships affected them?
Thanks for the question!
You might be interested in this, @jyvorakal. :) This will be about my OC Morale from my Spark Squad series.
Under the cut for those who don't care about Spark Squad.
1. I'm just going to group together the other four members of Spark Squad as the most influential relationship. As the youngest, Morale was the one protected the most, which would lead to him becoming protective when he would eventually be placed in an older brother role. Is this a spoiler for a future entry? Maybe. :) Most commonly: Ghost would comfort him, Duke would protect him, Pillow/Throwpillow would push him to do better, and Sketch encourages him.
2. His relationship with the Kaminoans. They are the ones, along with his squad, that he has been around since the day he was decanted. Unlike his relationship with Spark Squad, this relationship didn't have a positive impact on him. They would make him fearful and paranoid, which only worsened with Duke's death. He was happy to get away from them.
3. His relationship with the CG medics. This had a great impact on him, as they helped him recover from his knife wound, helped him cope with his fear of blood, and taught him how to take care of brothers if an emergency occurred and a medic couldn't be there right away. He loves their medics and he has a positive relationship with all medics he meets.
4. His relationship with Commander Fox. He looked up to Fox ever since he joined the Guard. He thought it was impressive how well Fox kept it together in front of his men and baring the brunt of the abuse the Guard suffered. Fox is the one is took care of him after Sketch, Ghost, and Throwpillow died and made all members of the Guard as prepared as he could for their job. Fox was something of a mentor to them and I already have a line about their relationship in mind for the last fic in the series. ;)
5. Remember how I mentioned Morale eventually took on the role of an older brother? This relationship taught him what it was like to take care of someone from a different perspective. I won't say much because it's a lot of spoilers, but look forward to it later down the line. :)

Random OC question fairy is here to ask: Does Spark Squad frequent 79’s? Are they friends with any non coruscant guard troopers?
-Jay, #1 Spark Squad fan ❤️
Thanks for another ask about Spark Squad, Jay!
Spark Squad has differing opinions on 79’s. The first time they went, it was together after they all had their armour painted; they also went with a few other members of the Coruscant Guard.
Ghost is not a fan of the place. It is constantly loud and it irritates him to no end. There was also an incident with a trooper from another battalion that kind of turned Ghost off from befriending men outside of the Guard. He knows it was just one other trooper, but he can’t stop thinking that others feel the same way about the Coruscant Guard. He never went back after the first time.
Sketch is okay with the place, although he didn’t go back for a while after the disastrous first time. The incident with the other trooper actually led Sketch and Pillow to getting into a fistfight with him. Sketch avoided the other trooper’s battalion for a bit, but warmed up to them later on. He’s polite to everyone he speaks to, but he’s probably friendliest to the men 137th Legion and the 327th Star Corps.
Morale likes 79’s; he goes every once in a while. He was a bit reluctant to go back after the first incident, but decided to give it a second chance. He bribed Pillow into going with him. A member from the battalion of the trooper who got into a fight with Sketch and Pillow actually recognized him and came to apologize, and Morale became friends with him. If he sees a medic when he goes to 79’s, he’ll be friendly with them and they indulge him. All the medics have a chat and the Coruscant Guard medics mention Morale by name and appearance a few times, so they recognize him. After the medics, Morale is actually on pretty good terms with the Wolfpack. His squad worried he would start picking up the pack tendencies from them.
Pillow/Throwpillow really likes 79’s. Where Ghost hates this place for its constant noise, it’s one of the reasons he loves it. Originally, he was determined to never return after his fight with the other trooper, but a little bribery from Morale goes a long way. After the second chance and being apologized to, he quickly warmed up to this place and he comes to 79’s pretty often. He really enjoys interacting with brothers outside of the Coruscant Guard and hearing what goes on in the frontlines. As much as he has grown since being insulted at being placed in the Guard, he still wished he could be on the frontlines. To the horror of everybody in the Coruscant Guard, Pillow actually becomes the friendliest with the 501st Legion and the 212th Attack Battalion. He enjoys their dramatics and chaos. Sketch is scared of getting grey hair.
I hoped you enjoyed, Jay! I'm planning on making a one shot out of this. :)

Sketch has been hiding things from his younger brothers in an attempt to protect them. Ghost, Pillow, and Morale strongly disagree with this course of action and decide to make it known.
I am back with more Spark Squad guys! I feel like it’s been forever. xD
Because life is stressful, here you go @jyvorakal. I hope you enjoy this and it gives you a reprieve of what life’s throwing at you! Take care of yourself! <3
Anyway, I’m tired, so I’m heading to bed. Enjoy!

Hey friend!!! For the OC asks there were sooo many good ones! For these you can do a specific member of spark squad, a mix, or all of them. Happy to learn additional info about any of them ❤️
14, 17, 23/24(these two are similar, whichever inspires you), 30, 35, 36, 40
Ok that was still a lot, whichever you have inspiration on feel free to answer! I was thrilled when you mentioned me in this one and am excited to see what you come up with!! ☺️
Okay, so I tag you in an ask game so you can ask me questions, and then I take forever to respond. I’m sorry, Jay; I really did mean to get to this sooner.
To make up for this, and because I like torturing myself, I’m gonna answer these questions for all of Spark Squad, except Duke (‘cause he do be dead :'( ).
I know most other people don’t really care about Spark Squad, so due to that and length, I’ll be putting this under the cut so it doesn’t clog up the dashboards of others.
14. Does your OC do anything, “just for aesthetic”? Or are they completely practical in everything?
Ghost: He’s actually the most practical, in this case, out of the four of them. He spent a lot of time being weighed down by his insecurities, so he spent a long time trying to catch-up to his squad and didn’t really consider himself to have time for anything else.
Morale: He’s in the middle of the spectrum, although he leans more towards being practical. He’s just not so much into doing something purely for aesthetic; he can go for it if the others convince him, though.
Pillow/Throwpillow: He’s also in the middle of the spectrum; he just tends to lean more towards doing something just for aesthetic. He can be freaking dramatic when he wants to be.
Sketch: This surprises a lot of people, but Sketch is the most likely to do something purely for aesthetic. He likes to sketch and, on good days, would even consider himself an artist. He knows how to balance it with practicality, though.
17. How prepared is your OC? Ready for the worst no matter what or completely lost in every situation? Would they have a medkit when it was needed? Would they have an umbrella if it rains?
Honestly, these guys have been trained since birth to be the best soldiers possible. They are all extremely prepared for the worst to happen in most situations. If I had to give a situation where each one of them would be the most likely to be completely lost:
Pillow/Throwpillow: Emotional problems
Sketch: Not being in control
Morale: When he can’t find a positive in a bad situation
Ghost: When his insecurities of not being good enough get the best of him.
23. What is the most annoying sound to your OC? What’s the most pleasant? Is there any reason?
Sketch: He loves the sound of pencil on paper, or whatever the equivalent is in the Star Wars universe. Art and drawing relaxes him and it has given him many great memories. The most annoying sound would be rain. Once when he was younger, one of his pictures ended up outside in the torrential rain of Kamino and it was completely destroyed. As he picked up his picture and stared the ruins, all he could hear was the rain pounding around him.
Pillow/Throwpillow: Pillow on the other hand loves the sound of the rain. He hates quietness and it fills him with a sense of dread; the sound of rain prevents utter silence much of the time. He hates the sound of crying, though. Most of the time, he doesn’t know how to help a brother when they’re crying so he just lets them use him as a pillow and hopes for the best.
Morale: Like Pillow, he hates the sound of crying, although for different reasons. It usually means that a brother has gotten lost in their negative emotions, so they’re no longer trying to see the best in a situation. Since Morale is a mostly optimistic person, it hurts him to hear this sound (he’s better at dealing with it than Pillow). On the reverse, the sound of laughter is his favourite. It fills him with joy to hear proof that his brothers are happy and he’d do many things to get them to laugh.
Ghost: Honestly, Ghost hates constant noise. It overwhelms him and makes him want to scream. This can extend to the rain on Kamino, the snoring of brothers at night, and much more. He’s learned how to use this noise to his advantage, though, and it has made it easier for him to slip into the background unnoticed. He didn’t really get a favourite sound until he was in the Coruscant Guard, which was the sound of a massiff barking in joy. He found that he really likes these guys.
24. What smells bring back specific memories to your OC? What are those memories like?
Sketch: As orderly and organized as he is, he loathes the smell of something being absolutely clean or sterile. It reminds him too much of Kamino and the room he was in as they took Duke away. On the other hand, he loves the smell of nature. It reminds of the one time he was on a planet other than Kamino or Coruscant; he always wanted to get more missions off world.
Pillow/Throwpillow: The smell of paint does it for him. He doesn’t really have another smell that brings back memories; it’s just not something he focuses on. The smell of paint reminds him of when he was first allowed to paint his armour in Coruscant Guard red. This is overall a happy memory, but it’s mixed with how much he originally hated being assigned to the Coruscant Guard.
Morale: The smell of blood triggers a lot of memories for Morale. It reminds him of injuries on Kamino, injuries while in the Guard, having a knife slit his throat during a mission. Another smell is just that of a brother. It reminds him of hugs, cuddle piles, etc. Very fond memories for him…Though they become a bit bittersweet later on. :)
Ghost: The smell of alcohol reminds Ghost of 79’s; it’s not very pleasant for him to think about, which will be elaborated upon in your other ask. ;) He loves the smell of shampoo. It’s related to taking care of his hair, which is very relaxing to him.
30. What topics does your OC know the most about? Are these obvious or would these be surprising to others?
Sketch: Unsurprisingly, Sketch knows a lot about art, especially when he gets to Coruscant and can learn even more. Sketch is probably the most predictable out of his brothers, due to putting himself in the role of the older brother for so long.
Ghost: The first topic he knows a lot about is hair care. This isn’t really a surprise since his hair is so long; everyone just assumes he would have to know a lot to take care of it. The topic that no one really expects of him is animals. When he got to Coruscant, Ghost discovered he liked a lot of animals more than most people, so he promised himself he would learn everything about them that he could.
Morale: Like Sketch, Morale is pretty predictable as he is the designated youngest brother out of them. This tends to lead to people underestimating him and his knowledge though, so he has that advantage over Sketch. Not really surprising anyone, once reaching Coruscant, he tried educating himself as much as he could on mental health and coping mechanisms. Before on Kamino, it was mostly just empty words, regardless of how much he wanted to help. Something that surprised others was, after his throat was slit, how interested in medical knowledge he became. If something like that ever happened to a brother without a medic nearby, he wanted to be able to help. It actually helped him control his bad reactions to the smell of blood, as well.
Pillow/Throwpillow: With how much he enjoys being active, it’s not really a surprise how much he knows about fighting, weapons, exercise, etc. Something that surprised everyone, himself included, is how much he enjoyed learning about the foods in different cultures. It all started when he was guarding a senator and saw the food of their home world.
35. How easily does your OC get attached to things? Does everything have a sentimental value to them, or do they see nothing as more valuable than its practical use? What about with people/animals?
Sketch: Beyond art supplies and the pictures he draws, Sketch doesn’t really place sentimental value on objects. He’s also pretty neutral towards animals. He does get pretty attached towards people though, especially younger brothers. Once he had gotten settles into the Guard and was no longer a shiny, younger brothers began to notice the aura of “big brother” around him.
Pillow/Throwpillow: Other than pictures given to him by Sketch, Pillow doesn’t really value objects beyond its practical use. He doesn’t care much for animals, but he gives them a chance for Ghost. The same can be said for his relationship with people, too. He gets along with others, but he doesn’t get overly attached to people outside of his squad; he has to people in his squad, he doesn’t need anyone else.
Ghost: Like Pillow, the pictures Sketch gives him are really the only objects he gives sentimental value to. Once he gets to Coruscant, though, there is another object he gets attached to: a stuffed massiff. He gets really attached to animals. He feels they understand him better than most people. With people, he doesn’t really get attached. Despite growing up with them, it still took him a while to warm up to his squad. He’ll be polite and kind, but it would be way too long for him to become attached to someone outside of his squad.
Morale: Out of them all, he becomes the most attached to objects. He’s good at letting them go though, because, you know, Kamino. He likes animals, but it takes him a while to become attached to one. Morale very easily attaches himself to other people. He finds it the easiest to become friends with other and he feels every loss very deeply
36. How stubborn is your OC? Are they easily convinced of the opposite opinion, do they not agree but let it happen anyways? Or do they cause conflicts with their inability to budge in their decisions?
Sketch: He is the most stubborn. We haven’t really gotten to see it yet, but being in the position of older brother for so long and always being the one they went to when they needed help, not having that control was extremely weird when he was in the Coruscant Guard. It would actually cause a bit of trouble early on, but he worked on it.
Pillow/Throwpillow: He has a difficult time considering the emotions and conditions of others, so he tends to stick to his decision regardless of the consequences. It has caused trouble with his inability to change his mind, but he’s getting better at reflecting.
Morale: Morale would probably be the third most stubborn. This comes with his need to not be seen as weak, considering he classified as the youngest. This was also amplified when Duke died.
Ghost: He’s the least stubborn. Due to his insecurities during training, he spent so long changing his mind and tactics to get better. There are a few situations where he sticks to his guns, though, particularly when a brother is needlessly putting themselves down.
40. Are there any habits your OC has picked up from people around them? Do they know where they’re from? Does your OC try to stop themselves from doing it?
Sketch: He picked up the habit of using the Commander Voice. He picked this up from Fox, who he did look up to a lot in terms of work and dedication. He tries to stop himself from using it in the presence of superior officers, but will use it when people trust him to lead.
Ghost: Talking to the massiffs in the Guard. He picked this up from Sergeant Hound. He loves the massiffs and it doesn’t hurt anyone, so he keeps doing it.
Pillow/Throwpillow: The only habit he’s picked up is snapping his fingers when he calls someone over to him. He got this from one of the asshole senators he spent a lot of time around. He tries to stop himself from doing this.
Morale: He started tapping his foot when he gets anxious, something he picked up from Pillow. He doesn’t try to stop himself from doing this because his brothers find it hilarious. He picked up the habit of the Medic Voice and Look because when he was learning about medical knowledge, he would go to the medics and spent a lot of time around them. He tries to stop himself from doing this because he feels like he’s intruding on their job. Unbeknownst to him, the medics are laughing their asses of whenever he uses them on a brother and it terrifies them into going to see a medic.
Holy hell, is this was long enough? xD Thanks to anyone who stuck around with me for the ride. Hope you enjoy these, Jay! <3

Siblings often say harsh words to each other. Pillow needs to work things out with Ghost and Morale before they can all continue healing.
Finally some new writing! I hope you all enjoy Part 4 of Spark Squad!

I’d leave a whole bouquet, but I don’t want to stress you out so:
🌹🌹🌹 Any love for Spark Squad? 🥺👉👈
Thanks for not sending in a million! xD Some Spark Squad just for you! ;)
Morale cracked a grin as he dodged a punch from Pillow, quickly grabbing his brothers’ arm and throwing him towards the door. Then, Morale and Ghost’s eyes widened in horror as The Commander Fox tried to come through the door. Pillow’s body crashed into his, sending the Commander’s head to the edge of the door and hitting it off his left temple; Pillow’s left temple soon followed, then both fell to the ground.
This is from an installment that will be quite a bit later in the Spark Squad series, but it’s one of the first ones I knew I wanted to write.

“Sketch! Are you alright?” Ghost frantically questioned, dropping his knees from beneath his chin. “What happened? Where’s Duke?”
Sketch’s breath hitched. Morale could see him take a few deep breaths, steeling himself. “Duke isn’t coming back.”
Here’s some more writing everyone! Part 2 of Spark Squad has arrived. Hope ya’ll don’t cry too much! ;)
