Aiyla Iravani:

Aiyla is a 3rd Generation Immigrant from Iran. She's extremely smart, when she doesn't think with her emotions. She is considered "new money" as her parents acquired their wealth in their adulthood. She is married to Aiden Hyde, though there is no love in the marriage. Their parents arranged them to marry to combine their families. Aiyla, after many miscarriages and stillbirths, gave birth to Nova Hyde-Iravani. Aiyla is a known associate of Matteo's, though they have an off and on relationship. She was the one who introduced Matteo to his current boyfriend, Tatum. She's not easy to trust, but once she does she is loyal until the end.

Aiden Hyde:

Aiden is the only surviving child to his mother and his late father. He was very sickly as a child but has since grown out of it, mostly. He is the Boss of the Hyde family, his underboss being his paramour, Homura Saita. Shortly after the birth of his daughter, his dad was murdered causing Aiden to take over his Father's role. Aiden, still young and immature, struggles constantly with his position. He relies on his mother, underboss, and wife to guide him most of the time.

Nova Hyde-Iravani:

Nova is adored by her mom. Aiyla tries her best to be a hands on mom and tries to protect Nova at all costs. Nova has gone through several Nannies, with her parents wanting different things in a nanny, if Aiyla hires one she approves of, Aiden will fire the nanny and vise versa. She is named Heir apparent for the Hyde family, though her father has very little interest in her.
