Daniella sat on the bench in the garden behind the Great Library, watching James and Emily play a little ways away. Ozir slowly made her way through the garden and sat down on the bench next to Daniella, letting her gaze fall on the two children. The two sat together in silence, watching the children before Ozir spoke up.

"The children are getting so big," Ozir said, breaking the silence.

"They are," Daniella replied, continuing to watch her children.

Ozir turned her head and took in Daniella's expression. There was a soft smile on her face as she watched her children chase each other around a bush, but there was something in her eyes that was different. Ozir noticed the sadness in her eyes, even though the children were happy and healthy. A sadness that had not left Daniella's eyes since she found the Great Library five years ago.

"Maybe it is time to talk about the Dragon Guard," Ozir offered softly, trying her best to approach the subject gently.

"Ozir, I don't want to replace them. I'm not ready," Daniella replied, trying to hold back tears.

"That is not what I meant," Ozir said gently.

"What are you meaning then?" Daniella asked, still watching her children.

"Maybe it is time for you to leave the Library in order to find them," Ozir suggested, shrugging her shoulders.

"Leave?" Daniella asked, jumping a little as if she had been slapped. Daniella whipped her head around and looked at Ozir, her eyes searching for an answer.

"The twins would be safe here in the Library as you start you search to to find them. It's been years since the merge, and you need them," Ozir replied.

"I can't just leave Ozir. My children need me," Daniella argued.

"I know they do, but you need to find them. It would help everyone to be together again," Ozir pressed.

"You think I don't know that?" Daniella snapped, tears falling down her face. Ozir jumped backwards with her mouth open before closing it. Daniella didn't raise her voice, as she normally kept her emotions in check. But there was something about it that made Ozir think twice.

"Sorry," Daniella mumbled before leaning away. She let her gaze rise back up to the children who were still playing by the bush.

"I can't just leave them Ozir. I wish I could leave and search for the others, you have no idea. But I can't just leave them. I won't be like my mother," Daniella continued, watching the children.

"What do you mean, like your mother?" Ozir asked.

"My mother left me on my Uncle's doorstep when I was 14 and never called or wrote. She left my little brother at Darkly's a lot younger than that. And for what? An adventure. I made myself a promise that I would never turn out like my mother. James and Emily are my children, and while their father may be out there somewhere, my Grandfather knows where, I can't just abandon them like she abandoned me. I miss the others, my little brother, and I miss Cole the most. But I don't even know where to start the search, nor do I know how long it would take. I don't want to miss a moment of my children growing up. No matter how much my heart is breaking," Daniella replied, turning to face Ozir again, this time trying to hold back the tears.

Ozir sat for a moment, letting the realness of the situation slowly settle around her. There was no way Daniella would leave the twins, no matter how much she missed her family. Ozir watched her friend hold back the tears as she turned her gaze back to her children. Both James and Emily were playing like there was nothing wrong going on in the world around them.

James, who looked more like his mother, if she had brunette hair. The boy was rather reserved, but was incredibly intelligent, just like his mother. He always watched the world around him before he did anything, even if he was watching from the safety of his mother's arms. James always let his sister speak for him if there was someone new that wanted to talk to them both. Emily, who could talk your ear off if you let her, looked just like her father, though she did have the build of her mother. Her emerald eyes, just like Cole's, seemed to shimmer when she started talking about anything that made her excited.

Ozir knew that those two children could be the last connection Daniella had with Cole, and she knew that Daniella would protect them at all costs, even if it meant she would not be around to see them grow. The Dreampyre's gaze moved from the children back to their mother who was sitting next to her. In the last five years, Ozir had watched Daniella grow even more as she became the mother that she thought the twins deserved while protecting the village and the Great Library from outside threats.

Ozir nodded before turning her gaze back to the children, knowing that this conversation was over. Daniella had made her choice and no matter how much it hurt her, she would stay with the Great Library and her children.

"When you are ready, there are some villagers that have some questions to ask about improvements to the the South East wall. The masons think they have some ideas as to reinforce the wall with fewer materials," Ozir said, changing the subject.

"I see, I will see to it in a moment. Let's let the children play for a few more minutes."

Species (yes species you will understand ina moment): Star-Eater, Luvusia Tribe.

Social Class on her home planet: Aristocratic

Gender: Transgirl (felt the need to specify that she is trans since it is a relevant plot point in her backstory)

Sexuality: Androsexual

Partner?: Gerses!

Special Abilities: Shape-shifting (artificial using device, not inherited)

Funfact: she absolutely hated sleeves unless they are jackets. Don't ask why. She just hates sleeves.

Simplified backstory: Huches was born as the only "son" to an aristocratic family on planet [UndecidedName]. Her family was part of the Luvusia Tribe but they distanced themselves from all of the traditions to suck up to Earth politicians and gave Huches an English first name and gave her a shape-shifting device to study on Earth (in this universe Earth is the central power).

Eventually, in one of her few holidays on her home planet, she is kinda forced to stay in the countryside and meets Kutuku and Gerses. A lot of shit goes down over the course of that holiday and she gets her trans-awakening and starts trying to reconnect with her culture (but she still feels very disconnected)

Gerses:

Species: Star-Eater, Teifuaa Tribe

Social Class: working class (though eventually he gets some privileges cuz rich sugar mommy girlfriend)

Gender: Non-binary (he/they)

Special Abilities: Shape-shifting (artificial)

Funfact: He is autistic! And also they like funky fashion and temporary tattoos (mainly cuz he ain't allowed to have permanent ones)

Simplified backstory:(tw//ableism, abuse) He is a very distant relative of Kutuku and his family was also struggling as a result of [SPOILER]. He was generally seen as useless because he couldn't help around his family's business and his mother usually berated him when he had breakdowns or anything (because he was undiagnosed for his entire childhood) which lead to him being selectively-mute.

Eventually, he starts befriending his distant cousin Kutuku and started dating Huches. Because of Ku's family (elaboration will be added) and Huches' shapeshifting device he was able to eventually go to Earth with them to study and his family stopped seeing him as useless because of that (he still hates them)

MARKO/MARKUS:

No gacha version he is the silly short guy with goblin ears

Full name: Marko Daniella (he likes being called Markus tho, Daniella isn't hid last name I going by the Egyptian naming system, only Huches uses her family name)

Species: Human-Rovan

[Not including a social class I only did for the other two due to the classist nature of their home planets WHICH WILL BE ELABORATED ON EVENTUALLY I SWEAR]

Gender: Questioning

Sexuality: achillean, asexual

Partner?: Taifuauu [he will be introduced later alongside Kutuku]

Special Abilities: Heat Vision (inherited, controlled), great hearing

Funfact: He is black albino, and he has a generally weak immune system and anaemia due to being a hybrid [he is my punching bag btw ilovehim]

Simplified Backstory: this shit cannot be simplified honestly I made him suffer too much

I wanted to introduce the 4ht character(Ashlene) aswell but I need to draw he other 4 (Kam, Ku, Tai and Jaida'a) before because the tie into her story a lot

Daniella carefully walked through the rubble, taking in the sight before her. It seemed as if the ground had swallowed yet another city, the buildings half absorbed into the Earth. There seemed to be no other life around, but Daniella kept her head on a swivel. You never knew when there might be someone or something lurking about. A small, muffled roar could be heard from her left.

She turned her head to find the sound, watching the small wyvern call out to her even though there was something in it’s mouth. Daniella held out her hand to offer the creature a place to land. It gently gripped her finger and proudly stretched out it’s neck and wings to show what it had found. A small piece of orange cloth slowly fluttered in the breeze.

Daniella slowly sank to a crouch, the wyvern still on her finger. She turned her gaze to look at the horizon and not the piece of cloth. Though it was not a sign that the ones she was searching for were no longer on this plane, it wasn’t a good sign. She took a deep breath before taking the cloth from the wyvern, thanking it before watching it fly away. After the wyvern was nothing more than a speck in the sky, Daniella stood and dusted herself off.

She shed a tear as her hand drifted to her stomach. She had no idea how she was going to do this alone. It was new territory for her and she would be lying if she said she wasn’t terrified. She had wanted to tell everyone the good news, and now she was alone with what felt more like a sentence. Daniella took another glance around her before picking a direction, as she had since she had woken up three days ago. The blast had separated her from the others and she thought that they would have been close, but she was wrong.

Carefully picking her way across the wasted city, she found her gaze drawn to a golden orb, seemingly waiting for her at the end of the street. Daniella’s brows furrowed as she decided to turn down an alley and choose a different street. Daniella looked both ways before leaving the alley, only to take a couple of steps before stopping. The orb was floating only a few feet in front of her, like it wanted her attention.

She willed her staff into her hand and stood her ground. There was no way she was going to walk into a trap willing. She was curious, but it wasn’t just her life in the balance now and Daniella had become very protective. The orb floated closer, slowly as if it knew that Daniella was a little cautious. Daniella tilted her head to the side a little as the orb stopped a foot in front of her. It hovered for a moment before quickly darting to the left. Daniella blinked before turning and looking at the orb that had stopped at the end of the street. Daniella thought to herself for a moment before she sighed and followed the orb.

The orb darted down the street when she caught up. Daniella huffed and continued to follow the orb. This pattern continued before she found herself out of the city and at the foothills of a mountain. She hung her head and took a deep breath before she looked at the orb floating beside her.

“Do you know how hard it is to move fast when you want to throw up?” she asked. She blinked before she laughed at herself. She hadn’t been alone long, but she was already starting to talk to inanimate objects. Or at least, objects that couldn’t talk back.

“And here I thought you could do anything,” the orb teased before slowly floating up the path. Daniella stood still for a moment before running to catch up.

“Lao Lao?” she asked in a whispered voice.

“Yes?” the orb replied, stopping.

“I thought you couldn’t leave the Library?”

“The Merge has caused a lot of changes. And I cannot hold this form long, come. You won’t have to continue this new adventure alone.”

MADDIE TELL ME ABOUT THE GILMORE GIRL RAISED BY RICHARD AND EMILY PLS I FORGOT HER NAME 😭

THATS MY GIRL THATS MY GIRL (there's also an AU with my most precious Gilmore Girl, Kirsty, being raised by Richard & Emily, but the main one is Dani)

Her name is Dani Gilmore (Daniella Céline Gilmore-Danes)

Basically, she’s Luke and Lorelai’s daughter and Rory’s older sister, but she doesn’t know it! So I have Luke and Lorelai meeting in passing when Lorelai is 15/16 (there's a reference that they went to the same beach when they were younger but at different times), they hook up, Lorelai gets pregnant, she has no way of contacting Luke, and Emily convinces her that she’s not ready to raise a child so Emily and Richard raise her as their own

A few months later, Lorelai is pregnant with Rory and decides that this time she is going to keep her, so she has Rory and moves to Stars Hollow and meets Luke a few years later and goes oh shit

But she doesn’t tell him about Dani, and Dani still thinks that Emily and Richard are her parents (and extremely controlling/manipulative parents at that) right up until she goes to Rory’s stars hollow birthday party and crashes straight into Luke when he arrives with the ice!

They spend that season getting to know each other and figuring out how to coexist, Dani absolutely adores him, and Luke has no idea how to act with a daughter but is trying his best

After Bracebridge she starts to move in with Luke. It’s sort of a combination of things tbh — the Emily and Richard fighting, the way all of the Gilmores still refuse to actually talk about the fact that she’s Lorelai’s daughter, and getting to know Jess! She really feels for him and she wants to get to be part of his and Luke’s life and she’s so happy talking to the two of them all night, but she’s still hesitating but then as they’re leaving, she and Emily get into a fight and Emily says something about “go wait with your father!” clearly meaning Richard and Dani just sort of stops, stares at her, and goes “okay”, before going to Luke and saying “hey, could I maybe stay with you guys tonight?” and Luke tells her that she can stay as long as she’d like! She also adores Rory but things are always a bit weird between them because of Lorelai and how weird Lorelai is about Dani in general

Dani is frequently described as too charming for her own good, she's very close friends with Logan even before Yale but they get closer when she joins him at Yale and joins the Life And Death Brigade, and he is probably/tentatively her endgame ship. She studies business at Yale and absolutely adores fashion, hopes to combine those in some way but isn't 100% sure what she wants to do with it yet
