OC HALLOWEEN CHALLENGE 2023

Day 6: The Harmless Antagonist

Tilly Cole has known her place in this world ever since her parents and aunt died, leaving her with a nice, but overwhelmed adoptive family. She learns quickly to adapt, to make her own money, to make sure she can escape if she needs to.

She also learns how to build up walls.

Even with annoying customers and long nights, Tilly loves her job at the Little Diner. At night, it is quiet. And even on the busiest of days, she enjoys her coworker's company.

When other waitresses in the area start getting killed by what Tilly calls "a little bitch boy with no life", this little werekitty brings out her claws to defend not just her coworkers, but any other woman endangered by this loser.

hello! first of all, nice to meet you, thanks for messaging!

the rumors are true, i do have something of an adam squared were AU! i'll try to do an abbreviated cliff notes version of things, but if you have any more questions/curiosities, you can always ask :)

so, my OC with adam cole as the FC is named demitri. his backstory is a bit on the long side and ties in with several other OCs that i have, so i'll bullet some important bits. i'll put his back story, around with nick's (fc: adam page) under a cut, because it's a little lengthy.

i'll give a general CW here for depression and suicidal ideation, anxiety, abuse, and eating disorder discussion. so, demi first:

has struggled with an eating disorder/eating disorder tendencies for most of his life (discomfort with his weight, throwing up meals, skipping meals altogether, etc)

struggles with with anxiety and panic attacks that can at times be

has struggled with depression, and has made suicide attempts in the past

he's seeing a specialist therapist who's experienced dealing with weres, so progress!

his father is the descendant of a fallen angel, and his mother is the descendant of an angel; he didn't know this (and neither did his parents) until very recently

the FCs for his parents are jennifer tilly (oc name: persephone/seph) and jon hamm (oc name: leo) if your'e curious

to that point, demi's full name is demitri atlas scott; demitri after demeter, and atlas for the greek titan. he and his mom really love mythology!

was bitten when he was extremely young (17 and hadn't even graduated yet), and was so scared and ashamed of what was happening that he ran away from home, mostly cut himself off from his parents, and ran into a pack that was less than nice to him.

endured several years of abuse, physical, mental, and at times sexual, from the alphas of this pack

within this pack, met a fellow OC of mine named nate (FC: 2009, black haired CM Punk, don't @ me)

weathered the storm for a little while, but eventually reached a breaking point of being sick and tired of being sick and tired. murdered the entire pack of alphas, along with any betas who tried to get in his way. didn't realize at the time that he had the power to do so because of his hybridism.

here's a fic about the day he killed those alphas

unfortunately, there were other casualties; some weres killed themselves to get away from him, some others asked him to kill them because they were so done with the whole thing, and he granted them that. still extremely guilty about the whole thing.

went out on his own after this, but eventually, years later, started looking for nate again, and eventually found him. reunited and it feels so good!

was a beta at this point, but one thing led to another, and he found out about his hybridism, and found out soon thereafter he was an alpha.

this was extremely problematic for him because he'd learned to hate any and all alphas after what he went through

led to some additional attempts on his own life, which i'll touch on again later

so, about the other adam....

nicholas/nick (fc: adam page) is technically, freddie's OC, but i'll cliff note him for you before talking about the two of them together.

grew up facing abuse from his dad, in general, but particularly because his dad suspected he was gay

his mom, on the other hand, has always been in his corner, and always wanted to protect him

his dad died of a heart attack a while ago, and he celebrated

that being said, his mom, who knew she was a coyote, did not tell nick he was part coyote until extremely recently. at first it was because she knew how much he was dealing with because of his dad, and didn't want to lump that on him. but after his dad died, the whole situation got away from her, and she wasn't saying anything because she thought it had already been too long, and he'd get mad

spoiler alert: he Was mad for a few days, and felt like she'd just lied to him for decades, but came around eventually, because he loves his mom

also very bi

and now, their meeting....

when they met, nick didn't know he was a coyote, and demi was still a beta

initially, the relationship was all sexual; nick was extremely attracted to demi, demi could tell, and they had a casual sexual relationship for a while

over the course of a couple weeks, their relationship was really advancing pretty rapidly; they were getting really close and sex was starting to turn into intimacy

remember when i mentioned demi had really bad panic attacks? around the time he was starting to figure out he was an alpha (which was triggered by his attachment to nick, and his eyes going from "beta blue", to a more general werewolf yellow, to more alpha-esque colors like red, gray, and white), his panic attacks were getting really, really bad. before nick came around, he just sort of dealt with it. but nick was determined to find something that worked to bring him down, and he found out that demi responds really well to cold showers and baths.

insert the beautiful and intimate mental image of demi trying not to hyperventilate, and nick caressing his face and telling him he's okay, and "i'm right here, i've got you"

demi doesn't cope well with the prospect of being an alpha or being in a relationship At All. tries by any means necessary to break things off with nick. runs off into the woods, but nick follows him to make sure he doesn't hurt himself. tells nick he shouldn't be with him because he just ends up hurting people, nick doesn't believe him for a second. tells nick he doesn't want him to have to deal with all his baggage. nick doesn't care.

fast forward a bit, and demi has no choice but to accept that he's an alpha now, and nick finds out he's a coyote.

demi can't help but feel a little guilty about the whole relationship. he feels like nick is forced to "take care of" him because of all his mental health baggage. nick is always there to reassure him that he loves him unconditionally.

i mentioned demi's struggles with food, and nick's a big part of helping him through that, too. he'll gently ask if demi's eaten, pre-make small lunches that demi can take and eat whenever, and cooks for him. some days are better than others. some days demi doesn't wanna eat anything at all, but nick can get him to take a bite or two of some fruit, or drink a protein shake. some days are really good. nick likes both days, because they're with his beloved.

also they're engaged now! and that's beautiful!

if i don't stop now i'm gonna keep going on forever, so i'll stop here. those are the basics, though! i'll leave you with a drabble i wrote about how they cuddle. if you have any more questions, feel free to ask! :)

He only hoped that he knew how much he loved him, too.

Day 24: Squad Goals

When Mason Hewitt throws a party, you are expected to come...unless you’re Riley Parrish. If you’re Riley Parrish, and you refuse to come to the party, Mason will be too scared to force you.

Without a date for the Halloween party and too much special herb in his system to make smarter decisions, Coop Harris buys some dog ears for his best friend, and then goes ahead and buys the rest of the costumes for his friends.

It takes two hours, and way too much begging for his liking, but by the evening everyone is dressed up and ready to get the night over with.
