Since World Snake Day is coming closer and it'll take me a bit to finish up the supporting serpentine cast, I’m just going to hand you my main snake boy.

His info is down below. (Template was borrowed from here)

Name: Vasuki Nicknames: Vasu, V, Suki Age: 18 (Rise of the Snakes) Gender: Male Race: Serpentine (Hypnobrai-Anacondrai) Appearance: He is a hybrid between a Hypnobrai and Anacondrai. Mostly he inherited his Hypnobrai father’s traits, looking more like an anthropomorphic cobra with blue scales, red eyes, and a rattle. However he inherited some of his mother’s Anacondrai features as well with having a purple dipstick fading on the end of his tail, darker, more black markings down his back, and a gem on top of his head. He has a yellow chest and torso with silver outlining it. He wears a exomis that he received when he joined the Serpentine Rebellion.

Height: 6’3” (190.5 cm) Weight: 180 lbs. Hair style: None Hair Color: None Eye Color: Ruby red Skin Tone: Mainly blue with purple fading on his tail

Personality: He is independent, honest, loyal, steady, reliable, persistent, courageous, diligent, adaptable, trustworthy, and insightful. While his father would rather have things easy, he knows the easy way isn’t the right way. He also shows a sense of defiance and hates injustice. Those two things play into motion when he found the Anacondrai Tomb and he figured out what had happened to his mother, Belladonna. Occupation: Warrior Affiliations: Hypnobrai (formerly), The Serpentine Rebellion and Artaxerxes (currently), The Ninja — associated by Katherina (currently) Hometown: Glacier Barrens

Status: Alive

Bio: Sometime when the Serpentine War was slowing down, Slithraa and Belladonna had conceived a nest of eggs together in the wilderness. When trouble began to rise again and this time, a third party had come in and began attacking young on both sides, the two were forced to hide their eggs in the Anacondrai tomb. Belladonna however convinced Slithraa keep one because she had a bad feeling something was going to happen (something did) and so he did. Vasuki’s young half siblings knocked him out of the nest and Slithraa had caught him just in time for him to hatch. Slithraa gave him the name Vasuki in honor of what Belladonna wanted to name him. Vasuki then grew up in the Hypnobrai Tomb of the Glacier Barrens, learning to be a Warrior among the ranks but yearning to get out of the tomb much like the others, if not more. He had no idea why, but he felt something was missing and that something was too far away to hold. One day a distraught boy would open the tomb and Vasuki would watch his father being hypnotized. The child didn’t know what to do with him but he watched as Skales move his plan into action. He didn’t like the manipulation put on the boy but he also had a chance to see the outside and to quell this feeling of missing something, so he went out with them.

Relationships: Slithraa: He does have a decent relationship with his father. He’s loyal to him, even after he lost his General title. He was the one who told him what happened in the Anacondrai Tomb and gave all the proof he could to him. At first it seemed like Slithraa didn’t listen to him, especially when Vasuki attempted to harm Pythor himself (while the Ninja were getting someone out of imprisonment), but later on when the Serpentine divided Slithraa joined Vasuki, defying Skales’ command to follow him, and eventually beating Pythor himself.

Pythor: At first it didn’t feel right to follow him, but when he learned the truth of what happened to his mother, he grew to despise Pythor for all he did, putting others in harms way and worse, cannibalizing his tribe to live on. He loathed his rule and one day wanted to take him out himself. However that led to his banishment.

Artaxerxes: The Basilisk Prince and leader of the budding Serpentine Rebellion had found him within Ninjago City’s limits. Artaxerxes allowed him to stay with them and with the growing group, they’d overthrow Pythor and his followers.

Katherina: Little did the snake know, this Kunoichi of Darkness would actually be tied into his life forever. She stuck up for him when the other Ninja mistook the Rebellion’s camp for another Serpentine camp when she returned to them with another recruit. He had been loyal to her since and stuck by her side through the battle against Pythor’s followers during and after Day of the Devourer. She even helped rebuild the City of Ouroboros before the Stone Army happened. More adventures awaited her and he was encouraged to follow, feeling like he couldn’t let her go like before, even if that feeling didn’t make sense to him for a time. He’d come to find out later why that was.

Fun Facts: - Despite looking like a Hypnobrai, he is still a hybrid, meaning that while he got his mother’s invisibility, he cannot truly ever achieve his father’s hypnotism. If he does hypnotize someone, it’s mostly using someone else’s eyes and his own words to do so. - His original name was “Slithers” when he was still a concept, meant to be a play on words for “Slithraa.” However when art of him began coming out, his name changed to Vasuki. - “Vasuki” is a name of a naga in Hindu Mythology. He is a king who has a gem on his forehead. - The exomis he wears resembles much like the Hypaspists of the Macedonian infantry would wear and he carries a spear and shield like Hoplites and even has a sword sheathed to his side.

Bio - Young(in his kind age span) water snake who found love for humanity so decided to live among them. Has adapted to life like a human but retained all his snakey ways. One of a peaceful nature and likes to dance to express his calm demeanor. Finds Oysron to be one that evokes the kind of peace he enjoys so happily joined this dorm of unexpectedness that can get very chaotic but Vasuki will do what he can to show peace is the right way to go about it…even if he has to get a little unlike himself too. 

Other Facts

Has the habit of sticking his tongue out and making snake noises but it's just something he must do. He will hide his mouth behind his hand embarrassed when he does it near others. His laugh is also fun to hear.

Rolls most of his Ss when speaking and likes to call people he adores “Ssseaweed” cause loves the stuff so sign he likes you too

Is a silly snake still sometimes so easy to get his attention by people playing music from flutes or similar instruments

His dancing would be coined as kinda sensual given mainly uses his hips a lot and isn't fully aware some find that…attractive,it just how he likes to dance

Understands some fear him cause he a snake but he the most friendly one you will ever meet….at least he'd think so

Sometimes turns into his full naga form in places too small and gets stuck,please help the big noodle out he won't even think to turn back to get unstuck for a long while

How old are your characters

I don’t have specific ages for them unfortunately (it would drive me insane because I’d become fixated on being realistic about their timeline or something)

Licorice is in her teens, I imagine she’s 17 but I think it would be better for her to be 14-15 instead and starting highschool (because it’s mentally exhausting and a whole new beginning)

Most of my ocs are in their 30’s, except the high schoolers and Chanel.

I couldn’t say who’s older or younger within these brackets…

Dulce is middle aged, so maybe in his 40’s or 50’s, same with Dokuro, Vasuki, and Tori.

Guita is very old. I’m not even sure if I could give them an age.

My (totally not favorite) genshin oc, Vasuki! He's a philosopher and a fortuneteller from Sumeru. He's based on Indian culture (mostly philosophy) and Hinduism in general (The Nagas) and I would be more than grateful to recieve constructive criticism if any person from these circles has some issues with him!! I'm still working on my genshin ocs and making them better and more accurate representations of the cultures they're based on is my job

OCtober 2021- Day 5: Throne

Prompt is here!

Time for my favorite basilisk boy and my favorite part of the Serpentine Rebellion arc!

He waited for this day for a long time, ever since he learned to gallop with all four of his legs. It happened to be the day his father and many other siblings were killed while his mother and the younger siblings left their home realm all entirely into hiding.

It has been years since then and now he finally made it back. His mother and rest of his younger siblings were back at the Serpentine Rebellion base where it was hidden right under the Pythor and his followers’ snouts.

Right now, the Serpentine were celebrating their victory in imprisoning their enemies and having all of the blades while the rebellion themselves were getting ready for battle.

A member or two from each of the serpentine tribes had joined his side in this inevitable battle, but even then he only remembered the handful of them, the first few that joined his cause. A Hypnobrai-Anacondrai hybrid, a Constrictai and his Venomari wife, an impressionable Venomari, a Fangpyre archer and a half-serpent sorceress.

Although they started out with few, he was glad that others began seeing why Pythor was wrong for what he was doing. The violet serpentine was a cannibal, a liar, and he was willing to let the Great Devourer roam free. Not to mention the unsavory thing he screamed at the Master of Wind. “You either get your future sight ability that my comrades have gifted you working or you’re going to be spending the rest of your days laying our brood all over this continent! And believe me, I don’t mind reviving my entire tribe through you.”

The furious scream that followed after his echoed loudly the tunnels and it didn’t take a genius to realize that it was the Master of Earth, rattling the bars and trying to reach his significant other. Even Tezca was terrified, but it also fueled the fire that needed to be lit under Pythor’s tail. It was perfect. The others were seeing him for what he was.

Now he was at the end of the road. The Serpentine Express had flaming engine under its hood and it looked smokey in the middle. He chuckled at that. “Attor..” He learned how to refine venom into acting more like a smokescreen. It didn’t surprise him when he had grabbed a few gas masks for the others. Other serpentine were thrown off and he already guessed it was Knucker the brawler from the Constrictai tribe.

Tezca would be proud but right now, he had to stop the Express right here in its tracks. At the very, very least, he had to slow Pythor down and make sure the Fangblades didn’t reach the Great Devourer, Echidna. He wasn’t about to see her eat everything until nothing but her and any possible brood remain.

He steadied his feet and just as the living vehicle was about to make contact, he was quick to grab it and hold it back. “What the-?!?” He heard from inside the car and saw the Anacondrai leader look out at him. “You?!? I thought all of you Basilisk were extinct!!” Clearly he thought Vasuki was bluffing during his imprisonment.

“Well I’m not and guess what, you cannibal traitor?” He lifted the front a bit and pushed it on its back wheels. Pythor was clearly panicking on the inside, pushing the pedal to metal.

“I’m taking the title of Snake King back.” The other serpentine who fought by his side came to help, holding the front end up.

“My family’s throne was never yours to have!” And with a roar, they all pushed the leading car of the express on its side. Pythor tumbled on the inside with the sensei who was holding him up til he fell back unconscious.

The Anacondrai slithered out of it in a daze with the Fangblades in hand but was grabbed by the shoulder and turned to meet the Hypnobrai-Anacondrai hybrid.

“This is for my dear Anacondrai mother.” He sent the message along with a hard enough punch to crack his forehead gem a bit. “I won’t forgive you for what you did to her. Maybe you can ask her for forgiveness yourself?” He suggested while the Anacondrai slipped into further unconsciousness.
