do you have any notes or background/story on your character birb? please tell us about your character 😭

When I'm drawing, I'm usually focused on what's happening right now, so I don't have a very developed background for my characters.

But since I drew Birb a few times already, here are some things I thought about 😀

His captors weren't bird people like him. They are a group that deals with hybrid trafficking

The only reason why he escaped is because the sedative they used for the wing amputation wore off sooner than expected. The operating room wasn't guarded when he woke up and he managed to escape

In the meantime, Caretaker did everything to find Birb. He found out about the hybrid trafficking base and he was keeping an eye on it to find a way in

It's during one of his daily patrols that he found Birb collapsed outside of the base, bleeding and missing one wing

Caretaker did everything to keep Birb alive. It wasn't an easy task since Birb lost a lot of blood and prior to the wing loss, he was likely tortured and malnourished for weeks

During his recovery, Birb not only had to deal with the wing loss and the inability to fly, but he also had to learn how to walk again. With the missing wing weight, his balance was off and during his first days he was glued to the walls trying to keep himself upright

Birb experiences phantom pain, he can feel his missing wing and it's very painful. Thanfully, as time passes, it happens less frenquently
