My goal from the start of this blog was to help people with OCD feel less alone. Social media and mental health activism have really changed since 2016 (meaning since I began this blog)... and it's gotten to the point where it's rather performative and detached from building relationships and a community. So, a Discord community feels like the best next step.

So, to my followers, my family: If you are 23 years old or older*, I have a discord server that I've created for those of us with OCD who want to socialize and chill WITHOUT making the topic of OCD the focus. I'm trying to get the following activities up and running:

Crafting circle

Writers circle

Movie nights

Book club

Co-op gaming sessions

Body-doubling for studying/working

ocd is like someone challenges you to a staring contest. and there's a lot of monopoly money (not real money, thats important) on you to win, so you're ridiculously fucking stressed about these made up stakes. and halfway through the staring contest, when your eyes are getting really really watery, you realize your opponent doesnt have eyelids. so there is literally no way you can win
