So, today we found out that the reason Alador stopped being close with his family is because he got sick and Odalia took that opportunity to fire every employee they had, leaving Alador to do everything alone.
If we assume that she is the reason for his and Darius' 'break-up', Odalia was isolating Alador for more than 20 years now.
Alador was in an abusive relationship for OVER 20 YEARS.
Steve's therapist is about to be the richest person on the Isles after all of this.

Where do you think Amity and her family live now? Would they still live at Blight Manor but only Odalia moved out, or would they move away from the manor because it held too many negative memories for all four of them?
hmmm, i think Odalia had a one sided argument with Alador about who owns and should live in the manor and ends up winning, yk? but not because Alador lost it, he just didnt give a shit anymore and gave up, letting her keep the manor all to herself 💀💀 Odalia did NOT expect to win that easily and just ends up confused on what do to with the huge manor. anyways they probably built a new house, a smaller one than Blight manor bc they dislike how hallow and empty the halls were!! orrr they moved in with Darius after Alador begged him to let them stay there for a "while" (aka forever) :D!!
thank u sm 4 asking btw anon!! ^_^

Odalia talked to Aladar, found out that the Emperor's plan was to kill everyone, not just the poor and unworthy, and went to save Mittens. Because of this, she got into the Human Realm with the HexSquad and began to live in Noseda's house. And Odalia didn't know yet that Camila would change her for the better.
Fic - Odalia is trying to figure out what kind of strange feelings she feels when Camila is around. Camila just likes what a sweet woman Odalia turned out to be. Amity is shocked at how strangely her mom is acting.
If you want, it can be crack.
A Sweet Woman (This fic is au based.)
Odalia was unable to comprehend the foreign feelings she felt when Camila Noceda was around.
Whenever the other woman would talk to her, she became really shy and tongue-tied.
Camila's smile caused a million flutterflies (the equivalent of butterflies in the Boiling Isles) to fly around in her stomach, and her laugh caused her heart to leap several times.
Even Amity was shocked at her mother's strange behavior as she shared what she saw with her friends.
However, Camila liked how sweet a woman Odalia turned out to be.
The former businesswoman was a delightful witch to converse with when they first met.
She loved and appreciated all the assistance she received from her around the house and with the kids, as she really needed it.
Camila desired to spend more time with her.
...
"There you are!" Camila greeted Odalia with a warm and welcoming smile as she entered the living room.
It was nighttime in the Noceda household and the children were in their rooms asleep.
The mother of six was seated on the couch beneath a blanket while the TV was playing.
"Have a seat," Camila said, patting the empty spot next to her with her hand.
With a smile and warm cheeks, Odalia joins the other mother on the couch.
Camila used a portion of her blanket to cover Odalia.
As the two watched TV together, Odalia felt Camila's fingers lightly brush up against hers and interlock as the flutterflies in her stomach and heart leaps returned.
She smiled tenderly at the touch as she slowly rested her head on Camila's shoulder.
Suddenly, Amity pops her head up from behind the couch and is in utter shock by the sight she sees before slowly slumping herself down without saying a word.

If you're feeling brave then “You made your choice.” and anything with Belos :3
Thank you for giving me the chance to write about BELOS! :D
Set: During Watching and Dreaming, while Belos is still possessing Raine. (Raine, I’m so sorry!) This could be viewed as a missing scene, because I was curious about where Odalia went after Belos possessed Raine.
Spoilers: For For the Future
Warnings: Belos possessing Raine— and some of the imagery that comes with that—, minor reference to Belos’ treatment of Hunter and the Golden Guards, and reference to Odalia being a not-great mother to Amity. It’s nothing too heavy— she just acts like Amity doesn’t exist anymore.
Summary: At the Archive House, Odalia strikes a deal with Belos.
Get… out… Get out… Get OUT— you slimy son of a coyoteagle!
Raine wrestled for control of their own body as Belos dragged them through the pillared corridors of the Archive House. Sludge streamed from Raine’s eyes and their stiff limbs, staining the shining floor tiles.
Quiet! Belos hissed. He coiled around Raine’s consciousness like a snake— both constricting and sedating— but Raine slipped free.
Raine taunted him, Just wait until the Collector returns…
The Collector would soon see through Belos’ lies and they’d be back to finish him off— hopefully with Eda, Luz and King.
Unless the Collector has turned them into puppets too…
At this point, Raine wouldn’t mind turning back into a regular puppet themself.
Torturous as it was being trapped inside their own head— especially when Eda was nearby— the Collector had never done anything to physically hurt Raine.
Currently, under Belos’ command, Raine felt like a noose was wrapped around their neck. The Collector’s spell was more like  gentle strings, guiding their movements.
Raine and the other Coven Heads had been compelled to pose as guards, servants, and to partake in ‘fun’ activities, such as tea parties.
Despite the tedious helplessness of it all, Raine was certain the Collector hadn’t done this out of malice. The kid thought it was all a game.
If Eda, Luz and King could win that game, maybe they could work with the Collector…
Belos sneered, Don’t count on it—
“Emperor Belos?”
He froze— jerking Raine’s body to a halt— when an airy, simpering voice cut across the corridor.
As Belos turned their head, Raine caught sight of Odalia Blight, watching them with a (seemingly) concerned expression.
“That is you, isn’t it, Emperor?” Odalia called coyly.
Inwardly, Raine groaned. They were surprised when Belos did the same.
Of course Odalia knew. She’d watched Belos leap into Raine’s body! Rather than attempting to helpRaine, Odalia had run away and hidden somewhere…
What did she want now?
“Leave,” Belos grumbled. For once, Raine agreed with him. If Odalia wasn’t going to make herself useful, then she could get lost.
“You really are… falling apart these days,” Odalia observed. Her lips curled with disgust as more slime dripped from Raine’s body. “Perhaps I could be of some assistance—?”
Belos raised Raine’s hand. Tendrils of slime shot towards Odalia. She stumbled back with a gasp.
STOP! Raine broke free of Belos’s hold, closing their hand and shoving it behind their back.
Why do you CARE? Belos goaded them. You despise this manipulative, elitist witch—!
Raine admitted, Yes…
At Hexside, Raine had managed to avoid Odalia’s notice… until one day, when they had been paired up to work on a project together. (Eda had been deemed a ‘bad influence’ on Raine…)
The preparation for the project had gone okay; even though Odalia was bossy, Raine didn’t mind following her lead.
But then, they had to share their project with the rest of the class. Raine could barely get a word out in front of everyone, so Odalia had carried the speech.
The two of them had still gotten a good grade, but not good enough in Odalia’s eyes. She had blamed Raine, of course, and called them a wimp from then on.
(So original!)
It wasn’t enough that Odalia strove for perfection— a trait she had projected onto her daughter, Amity— but she would shove aside anyone who got in her way of perfection.
People like Darius, who had stood between Odalia and Alador. Or Luz, who was a ‘bad influence’ on Amity…
Or the majority of the Boiling Isles’ citizens, who had almost died on the Day of Unity.
As much as Odalia deserved to suffer— as much as Raine wanted her to suffer— it wouldn’t be by Raine’s hands.
I won’t let you KILL HER! Raine exploded at Belos. OR ANYONE!
We’ll see about that! Belos growled.
Every time he tried to take aim at Odalia, Raine would resist. It must have looked like Raine was being restrained by an invisible foe.
All the while, Odalia stood back, blinking at them. Eventually, she hollered, “Having trouble with your… host?”
She could take your place, Belos suggested. If you would just let me—
NO! Raine would rather break their own arm than let him do anything else…
Oblivious or indifferent to Raine’s plight, Odalia hummed loudly. “What will the Collector think when they see their dear Rayray acting out?” (Raine hoped the Collector would snap Belos out of existence!)
“That— Ugh!— child is nowhere near here,” Belos retorted, as Raine threw their back against against a wall.
“Yes,” Odalia said slowly, “but what about their spies? They’re everywhere and they pick up everything. Why, they might even be listening right now—“
“What do you want?” Belos snarled, sludge slipping through Raine’s teeth. Raine was granted a few moments of relief as Belos glared at Odalia.
“What you promised those in your favour,” Odalia reminded him coldly. She rubbed her wrist. “To live in the new world—“
“As royalty?” Belos laughed. He tried to gesture around the corridor, but Raine still had their arms pinned against the wall. Belos huffed. “Look around. There is nothing worth ruling over in this damned place.”
Odalia amended, “I want to live— with my children.“
She hadn’t even mentioned Alador… who currently resided in the Archives with the other puppets.
As far as Odalia knew, Amity was still trapped in the Human Realm.
Belos knew this was no longer the case, and he decided to torment Odalia.
“How many children do you have?”
“Two,” Odalia answered, inspecting her nails. “My twins— Emira and Edric— remain in the Boiling Isles. I want them both alive and in tact. That’s all I ask, in return for my silence—“
Belos finally wrenched one of Raine’s arms free. Before he could strike Odalia, however, Raine punched themself in the face.
“Do we have a deal, EMPEROR?” Odalia shouted, like he was about to lose the sale of a lifetime.
“ALRIGHT!” Belos roared at Odalia and Raine.
“Excellent!” Odalia smiled. “I won’t ask you to shake on it— I’ll just take you at your word…”
Belos sighed through Raine’s aching jaw. “Are you quite finished?”
Odalia nodded. “Just remember that I can reveal you at any time, and I won’t hesitate.”
She touched the pink jewel of her necklace and a purple spirit flew out. As Odalia turned away from Belos, the spirit kept its eyes on him, ready to retaliate if Belos lashed out.
When Odalia had stalked down the corridor and she was safely out of sight, Raine was finally able to relax. Raine dropped their arms and sagged against the wall.
I should have killed her earlier, Belos mused. Or possessed her…
Could he possess people when they weren’t puppets, or if they weren’t grimwalkers?
For Raine, the most sickening of all this was seeing into Belos’ memories— seeing what he had done to his older brother, the Golden Guards… and Hunter.
Raine might have been a puppet at that moment— just as they had been for years in the Coven System— but that didn’t mean they had to dance to Belos’ tune.
They weren’t as bold as Odalia, but Raine could be just as deceptive— maybe even more so.
Raine would keep fighting, even if it was too late to save themself now.
You made… your choice, Raine told Belos tiredly. And now you’re stuck with me.
So be it, Belos said.

Not “Odalia is cishet because she’s a bad person/an abuser”, but instead “Odalia is cishet because she has peak “Oh, I’m not homophobic. I’m an ally!” energy”. Shallow corporate “allyship” kind of thing.
She has the vibes of someone who, if she was a human in the Human Realm and an employee in her company came out, would ask them if they’d like to go on record stating that for the company’s diversity initiative.

Now that Alador & Odalia are pretty much OVER 💔, Alador x Darius perhaps? 💕
Tumblr media
I still stand by this popular THEORY behind their backstory. So them  getting together makes so much sense to me 😍😂
Since Alador (together with Gus, Willow, Hunter, Amity and King) are making their way to rescue Luz, he and Darius are bound to bump into each other at the Titan’s skull...
This creates the perfect opportunity for them to reconnect and fall in love (after solving the Day of Unity crisis of course...😅)
Any Darius x Alador 👨🏾‍🤝‍👨🏻 shippers? Anyone?
