Headcanons for OFA stockpiles beauty, tddk version, please.

1- ok so dorms happen earlier in the first semester, after the revelation that Shigaraki carries a picture around of Izuku and the winged nomu targeted him to carry off. But in the meantime while they're being built, UA is like 'maybe we should get this kid a protective detail or someone at least watching him off campus'. Tenya and Shoto are both in the hospital room while that's discussed, and both immediately offer their connections- but with the Iida family focusing on their sons right now, it makes more sense to see if they can take the Todorokis up on it instead. Which means that now, Izuku is alternating between staying with All Might (doesn't want to impose or run more of his time down) or the Todorokis (also doesn't want to impose, but its nice to get to know his friend more!)

2- Enji isn't thrilled about the protective detail, but he figures pretty quickly this kid's got some connection to All Might and would like to figure out what- and uh yeah Shoto's crush on him is as obvious as it is understandable, so he wants to keep an eye on that to make sure he isn't distracted now that he's finally using his fire.

He is very specific about Izuku getting a guest room in a different wing of the house from Shoto.

It doesn't matter much, since they spend a lot of time out with friends after school or together in the living room or dojo anyway.

3- Fuyumi decides to try and help her brother out, asking Izuku a couple questions while he's helping her cook and Shoto's gone to visit Rei one Sunday. She says she's sure he's the heartbreaker of his class, any datemate?

Izuku laughs uncomfortably, says no, but gets why she asked- its a side effect of his quirk, he isn't really as attractive as it seems, no one is actually likes him, just the quirk tricking them too.

Fuyumi gets very quiet and very serious, and says she's sorry. Sometimes, quirks don't seem worth the trouble, and he's in hard spot- but she's sure at some point, someone will see the real him, and like the real him, besides from the glamour. Izuku thanks her, and after dinner Fuyumi pulls Shoto aside to bring up the quirk and if he thinks he's under the effect of it, or if he has a real crush on him.

Shoto stares at her, and says he doesn't have a crush on Izuku, he's just objectively attractive and a brilliant friend.

Fuyumi realizes he's as oblivious as Izuku, and both beyond her help.

4- Shoto realizes that night that Fuyumi was right, but as a youngest sibling is physically incapable of admitting that so soon, and decides to simply act as if it was a slowburn unrelated to anything she said, and that itll probably be easy, since Izuku is so clearly over any attempts to woo him. He doesn't want to be pushy. He doesn't want Izuku to feel like Rei. So instead, he just acts friendly. Gets him All Might merch for his birthday, keeps a poker face when Izuku joins them in the hot spring at camp even if he cant quite control the temperature reaction, and keeps a lookout/causes distractions to make having quiet meetings with All Might easier for him.

5- Ok i dont know how but imagine whatever convoluted scenario needs to happen for Izuku to get shot with a temporary eraser bullet. this is mostly because he deserves to go feral and smart and fight quirkless again, but also because everyone realizes he does look/seem different this way, until the glamour comes back- everyone except Shoto, who didn't notice a difference and says it, which startles some tears out of Izuku only for him to bury that deep, deep down because he's got a while before he's gonna confront the mortifying ordeal of having a crush of his own

I remember the One for All is a Charisma Enhancer headcannons and have had more thoughts, here you go:

One for All as an intelligence Stockpiler. Izuku gets it from Nedzu. Nedzu was a normal rat before receiving one for all. The power is intense. The two tear down society, all for one is defeated by sheer brain power.

One for All as a wisdom stockpiler. Life lessons galore, Izuku knows the meaning of life and distills the truth of the universe. Izuku manages to realize that everyone’s motives are stupid. He can’t convince anyone of this though, since his charisma is terrible.

One for all as a dexterity stockpiler. Agile, good with ranged weapons, sneaky. Eraserhead is perplexed at how this random child is out stealthing him. All of the previous holders are alive and were just in hiding thanks to mad ninja skills.

One for All as a stockpiler of foresight. Izuku can low key see the future, can tell what’s going to happen based on vibes, and how reacting certain ways might influence that. Nighteye is jealous, his quirk is terrible in comparison.

One for all stockpiles attractiveness. All Might is the number one hero because he’s the most popular and sells the most merch. It just makes Izuku unbelievably handsome. Aoyama is jealous. Izuku becomes an idol, and takes down All for One with the power of friendship.

One for All stockpiles weakness, so it’s actually just a terrible curse that makes someone terminally ill like Yoichi. Yay.

One for All stockpiles stocks. It makes you really business savvy. Izuku may not be a pro hero, but he’s going to make bank.

One for All stockpiles luck.

BnHA Chapter 214: 4th Popularity Poll and 5th Set Climax

Previously on BnHA: Deku met a Hellboy-looking dude in another one of his One For All Dreams and they had a chat! This friendly yet intimidating fella told Deku that the power that had just exploded out of him was actually the dude’s quirk, Blackwhip. It turns out that OFA hasn’t just been stockpiling physical power; all six of the prior wielder’s quirks are included in the package as well! It’s just that up until now, none of the other wielders has ever been able to access them. Before vanishing back into the dream abyss, Deku’s new friend told him he needed to gain better control of his emotions, as his anger toward Monoma was what triggered Blackwhip’s rampage and made it so difficult to handle. Back in the real world, Deku awakened unharmed thanks to Ochako and Shinsou’s efforts. But since the teachers hadn’t called off the battle yet, Monoma came rushing in to attack, with the rest of Team B not being far behind. Mina and Mineta showed up to battle Yanagi, Shouda, and Kodai (they really need to do something about that number disadvantage), while Ochako battled Monoma and Shinsou got ready to take on Deku. The teachers are still watching btw, but it seems like they want to see how this plays out.

Today on BnHA: The newest popularity poll results are revealed and I have a lot of thoughts. A lot of thoughts. Vlad and All Might question why Aizawa wants to let the kids keep fighting, and Aizawa says it’s cuz they’re all still trying their hardest to win. Mineta saves Mina’s life and then completely ruins it because of course he does, but she takes it in stride and uses him to attack the others by flinging him at high speed to ricochet endlessly off of his grapes in a Gran Torino-esque fashion. Monoma tries to attack Deku with One for All but it doesn’t do anything (fortunately for Monoma), and Ochako then takes him down while Deku goes after Shinsou. Deku by the way is fighting quirkless because he’s worried that if he tries to use OFA right now he’ll lose control and put everyone in danger again. He and Shinsou start tusslin’ and we have a flashback to when Ponytail!Aizawa (omg) was training Shinsou on how to use his capture weapon. Back in the present, Shinsou uses the scarf to send a bunch of heavy pipes crashing down towards Deku. But Deku chooses this moment to make peace with himself and his quirk, and catches the pipes using Blackwhip.

(As always, all comments not marked with an ETA are my mostly-unspoiled reactions from my first readthrough of this chapter. I’m caught up with the manga now at chapter 225, so any ETAs will reflect that.)

okay well let me analyze the color page first, and then I’ll go find and complain about the poll results

BAKUGOU AND DEKU’S SWORDS. okay I’ve seen this image before and I love it so much, and that is of course because it’s a sequel to the color page from chapter 120. and the two of them are now each carrying one half of All Might’s sword. basically this is symbolic confirmation that the two of them together will carry All Might’s legacy forward. this is so important to me you guys. this brings me so much joy and happiness

can we talk about what Hawks is wearing. I thought this was a medieval AU, but he’s looking rather steampunk to me. what, are you too cool for D&D, Hawks? also is that a literal hawk. that you’re holding. for some reason. huh

can we talk about what Todoroki is wearing?? and also what the actual hell is going on with his face? he’s wearing some sort of weird mask. and his outfit looks nothing like it did in the previous AU color spread. was Horikoshi just being extra or is this some indicator of a crazy plotline coming up for him somewhere down the road?

loooooool Endeavor being in the top ten must have pissed off lord knows how many people. it would have pissed me off, before the Endeavorhawks arc. but I’m cool with it now. I get it. having him as your favorite doesn’t mean you’re giving a ringing endorsement of all his actions; it just means he’s a compelling character who’s been getting some really good development lately. still absurd that he’d be ranked over Aizawa, but if I’m honest with myself it really should be Jeanist who was bumped down for that. he’s just there because Japan apparently shares the same weird tastes as myself. by the way how fucking strange is it to see Jeanist without any Jeans holy shit is that even allowed

and winding down here, (1) I’m glad to see All Might still in the top ten ranks at least, (2) Iida is a handsome boy and I love how his armor is reminiscent of his Ingenium costume here, and that he’s the one actually riding the dragon (be careful Iida or my idiot son is going to fall right off its head), (3) Kirishima is still as popular as ever I see, and lastly (4) Momo being in the top 10 is giving me life and I hope she gets some more spotlight this year! it was great to see her as the head of her respective Joint Training battle team

okay! so now let me find the list from chapter 207

holy shit, okay so first of all let me just say that apparently this poll received almost 81,000 votes. for comparison, the third poll only received about 36,000

so having said that, it is absolutely astounding that my boy Bakugou came in at number one yet again, with a margin of over 1000 votes. glad to see you being appreciated boyo

and Shouto made it to #2 for the first time! good job hot and cold! the Endeavorhawks arc definitely gave him a boost as well I think. and well deserved!

and my boy Deku at #3, but while the difference between Katsuki and Shouto is only about 1200 votes, the difference between Shouto and Izuku is more than 7,400. basically the top two are in a league of their own here goddamn

and Hawks is all the way at #4! holy shit! more than 4,500 votes between him and Deku, mind, and Kirishima is nipping at his heels less than 200 votes away from him, but still, that’s amazing given how recently he made his debut and how relatively few chapters he’s been in. I expect the number of votes for him to skyrocket in the next poll, assuming we get more of that double agent storyline. Touya -- I mean Dabi -- is probably gonna get a boost too lol

anyways, enough mourning what could have been, I guess. in the meantime Mina is grabbing him and hurling him lmao

and he’s bouncing around like a ping pong ball and class B is trying to avoid getting hit by him

Tsuburaba says Shouda is having to protect the other two because they’re weak at close-range combat? say what now?? how is a telekinesis quirk weak at close-range combat, exactly?? just float some metal shit into the air and wait for Mineta to inevitably ricochet into it and concuss himself and just like that you’re free to take on Mina three against one. even someone as awesome as her would struggle with that

meanwhile, Jirou is wondering why the hell the teachers haven’t stopped the battle yet

and here’s the first we’ve seen of Katsuki since The Thing happened, so yeah you bet I’m posting that shit

he looks openly confused, and not in his normal “I don’t know what’s going on and that pisses me off so Imma make an angry face” way. but in a more overtly “what the fuck” way. not that dissimilar to the way he looked when he was watching All Might battle AFO, but with less panic, thankfully

it definitely says a lot about how far his relationship with Deku has come that this is his reaction, though. confusion and maybe slight concern, rather than anger or jealousy or automatically thinking this is something new Deku had up his sleeve that he was purposely hiding from him. he really has come such a long way since Ground Beta

and I don’t think I’ve rambled about this yet, but! now we’re finally getting to see why Aizawa took such a personal interest in Shinsou, and I’ve been waiting and waiting for this and I’m so happy we’re finally getting to it. he sees himself in him. they both have powerful quirks capable of incapacitating even the strongest opponents, but the catch is that those quirks are mental rather than physical. physically they are essentially quirkless, and so if they ever get caught off-guard -- or pitted against giant robot opponents, or opponents who are otherwise immune to their abilities -- they’re at a huge disadvantage

so here’s this kid who’s very much like him, and Aizawa has no obligation to reach out to him, but he does so all the same, because he cares, and if he can help this kid fulfill his dreams and not have to stumble along and make it up as he goes the way he had to, isn’t that worth doing?

Aizawa Shouta let me just once again say that it’s a war crime that you were not ranked in the top ten, and I think we need to conduct a special investigation into these poll results. I’m only seeking justice and the truth

For the ask game: 5 headcanons about how the OFA Stockpiles Beauty AU would cause the World Heroes Mission movie to go differently. Thank you!

I haven't seen the third movie so this was pieced together from the wiki and @gentrychild 's help.

1- So Izuku’s doing his own thing, trying to make sure totally-not-a-theif-Rody is fine after the brief case chase, when the Humanrise Police try to take the case from Rody. Izuku tries to difuse, and with one last glance back and a sigh, Rody runs. But here, Izuku’s attempts are rather distracting, and the Humanrise are hesitant to follow the shoot to kill order while looking at him. Turn or Beros or whoever gave the order isn’t happy to have arguments, and order to still chase Rody. Some Humanrise try to split from Izuku to go after him, but Izuku keeps putting himself in the way before he gets annoyed enough to just leave and try to follow Rody.

2- Flect or Beros or whoever’s calling the orders puts in the cue for the media to play the “False accusations of a mass murdered” card. Once again, they’re questioned, but snap that they don’t care who it is, just do it. They will later regret not even asking for a picture of this random annoying hero they’re framing, because as soon as it airs everyone is freaking out about how someone is Framing Midoriya Izuku For Murder- perhaps a shapeshifting villain? a hacker? a jealous ex?? a spurned stalker?? They have to help him! and catch the actual muderer, what if they decide to kill Izuku when he’s seperated from the others??

3- Lukily for Izuku, Pino is as smitten with him as Rody, so she helps him find Rody even with his headstart, and they get out of dodge. Rody agrees with Izuku’s plan to head to the border and get out of jurisdiction. (is the neighboring country non-extradiction????) Fortunately it is way easier for them because they don’t have to hide from everyone- just stay to smaller roads and towns, knock on doors and ask if there’s spare room or leftovers, and most are charmed at the sight of Izuku and agree, not reporting it. Clearly Izuku’s horrible murderous stalker ex was jealous of the beautiful boy and his new boyfriend! Rody gets multiple shovel talks from strangers every day, but they’re safe.

Well. There’s another reason they’re safe: Every time a Humanrise Cop or Villain finds them, they end up joining them. Clearly Flect Turn is wrong if a guy with this face is decrying their stance on quirks while also being hotly defensive of the quirkless population, who would, you know, absolutely not love to live in a grieving post apoclyptic world even if the current dystopic one isn’t great.

So its Izuku, and Rody, and their growing gang of ex-Humanrise protection. The civilians offering them rooms and food assume that’s the protective custody Izuku’s got to keep them safe while the Crazy Jealous Stalker Ex Maybe Murderer Who Framed Him is found. No assumptions are corrected.

4- They get to the border way sooner, and there’s a smaller force there to stop them. The ex-Humanrise take it while a non-injured Izuku and Rody get over. They are safe, find the message and the key, and Rody confesses two things: one, he was tempted to turn it over to protect his siblings, and two, he’s in love with izuku and that’s why he didn’t. Izuku ignores that second part because that’s what everyone thinks. Shoto casually confesses his love too, knowing Izuku always brushes it off. Katsuki grumbles. He’s so tired. 

Izuku focuses on the first part, suggesting they go back asap to make sure his siblings are safe. They get back much faster and sneaker than they left, and confirm the kids are fine, actually moving them to protective custody. 

While at the house though, they find a clue of some kind that helps them realize what the suitcase and key was for, and realize about the bombs and kill switch.

They start looking for the bombs, alerting the heroes.

5- At the heroes altert, Flect Turn realizes they’ve got the key, but is sure they’re too far away to use it because he doesn’t realize they’re back inside the border. He announces the two hour to the end of the world thing, and is very embarrassed when Izuku and Rody neutralize the bombs twenty minutes later because how much of a head start they got. the day is saved. Rody does not get a kiss but Pino gets some coos and soft pets and almost dies of happiness. 

+1- The way Shoto confessed his love was this btw: Shoto: of course no one would have thought you were a murderer. Rody: yeah, can’t believe they’d think we were criminals Shoto: nope, i said not murderer. He’s definitely a thief though. Katsuki: no Rody: Uh, just to clarify- of the two of us, he’s the one who looks like a thief? Shoto: of course. Katsuki: don’t you dare. Shoto: After all, he stole my heart Katsuki: i’m going to kill you one day. Izuku: can we go back to the children in danger part. I’m all for going back to help them! Katsuki: if you don’t, there will be more dead children here in a second.

Beauty AU: is Katsuki immune to the allure thing or does he already know and just hates Izuku so much that this allure thing cancels it out and exhausts him due to his conflicted emotions?

Katsuki was already immune due to his utter lack of every kind of attraction, which meant that he was neutral about the "new kid" everyone at Aldera was freaking out about the last couple weeks of school, but then on realizing that kid is Izuku and that everyone else keeps reacting the same now, he's so upset it tips him back out of neutral into negative.

For the pretty stockpile AU where its changes Izuku's face

What if when he has a different face it actually physically changes his facial structure and he just can't feel it. Like, I had surgery and they had to move skin around and now I have no feeling on parts of my body. So his face physically changes and it would hurt like a mf but the quirk numbs it.

And then Aizawa uses Erasure and he feels all the physical pain he should've when that morning the tissue and muscle and bone subtly moved around to give him a still-recognisable new face.

Or the face change is just "stretching" his whole face and then Erasure is used on him and it just snaps into place. Like he's got a different nose that day ala~ghosts and OFA makes him moldable so it doesn't actually hurt him but when it's erased Izuku's nose just loudly snaps into place from his original into what he had for that day. There would be pain, blood, swelling, my boy just got a 1second unwilling nosejob and it's terrifying

Why do all you people want to hurt him so badly was the psychological damage of the beauty stockpile not enough? Him looking pretty while trying to get medical attention for his self exploding bones not enough? Why must we make Erasure actually hurt him too

1- uh so lets say that when Izuku's chasing Rody, he's making a lot of jokes about the handsome hero pursuing him- but then admits he needs to do this to protect his little siblings, so it doesnt matter. Izuku, impressed and glad that at least Rody is focused on that more than on his looks, smiles and asks if Rody needs help protecting his siblings. Rody immediately falls out of a tree or whatever he was standing on at that moment and Pino tries to permanently attach herself to Izuku. and maybe they get the kids first so the roadtrip also has two tagalogs asking when Rody is going to propose

2- what if flect like, actually looked at who they were framing for murder lol, or if he checks after he keeps losing people to the other side, goes "oh hes got a ton of quirks got to have an allure quirk how do we turn it off", checks the registry and sees izuku was quirkless for fifteen years, wonders if izuku somehow has the secret to surviving quirks (what is flect's deal about hating quirks again???) and so issues new orders- to protect izuku and bring him back, as humanrise can ensure he survives his quirks, so maybe that would return a threat back to the road trip idk

I can see the events from the third bnha movie become way more chaotic with the prettyness stockpile, like, the it being near impossible for Izuku to hide or not attract attention while being on the run from being accused of murder(that being if he didn't dispell the accusation in the beggining by using persuasion)

Yeah it definitely makes the movie more extreme- either he charms his way out of all plot problems from the get go, or, he and his escape buddy have to get far far far away from all other humans because he can't hide at all. We're talking Serbia wilderness, six hours from the closest human dwelling.

In the ofa stockpiles beauty au, both Bakugou and the peon Aldera didn't recognise Izuku, so what about Inko, they did she recognizer him but thought that he was hit by a beautification quirk in the entrance exam or did she not recognise him and almost called the police when she thought her son hasn't come home yet, so after the exam?

If we combine pretty stockpile au with eye glow au, you said that erasure turns off the ofa prettiness, I propose that the ofa eye glow has an extra aesthetic quality, for allmight I would go with his eye glow looks like a burning flame but blue, and for izuku his eyes gently crackle with green sparks. Also I would argue a stockpile quirk would always have some light eye glow as it’s always building up energy and the glow is just stronger when the built up energy is being used

I can see that for stockpiling! Izuku having a dim flickering glow most of the time that crackles and shines brighter when he's using strength- and then that gets more colors when the vestiges act up. If stockpiling and mutation quirks always have that low level glow when resting, Monoma would probably clock Izuku's quirk for what it was and might not try to copy it... On the other hand, he might assume Izuku's Unnatural Good Looks are a mutation quirk.

... I can also see Aizawa having some very concerned questions about why it seems AfO deliberately made a beautiful nomu, or deliberately picked a kid with unusual draw to add more quirks to
