sorry everyone im reverting back into a poto fanblog, if u cant tell i fell into a rabbit hole this morning looking for an image to add to the beamie fic and now i have brainrot

#i always have poto brainrot even if its not surfacing #such sexy costumes #i even forgive the movie a lil for the production budget i just wish they had casted u know. #ACTUAL musical theatre actors and not #g rard but ler #why didn’t any one who does a broadway movie take advice from rent??? #they threw the original fucking cast in there and it was spectacular #its only strike was cutting goodbye love and changing mimi and maureens costuming #poto looks good and sounds okay until u hear like #OBC or RAH #even the les mis movie figured it out!!! found two big names w mus threatre bgs #and how they did the singing was genius cause it put everyone on an even level and sounded natural #ofc i dont know what happened w eddie redmayne #or with amanda seyfried cause shes great in mamma mia and then???? #honestly she was too old to play cosette but #disclaimer i am not bashing musical movies i support them on the basis of accessibility #and bc of that i criticize them cause EVERYONE deserves quality theatre #and i know im a huge proponent of ‘all art is good art and all singing is good singing’ #but autotuning the fuck out of vocals for broadway shows is not good #again #les mis is an incredible example of emotion over whats technically right #wow this got long ok #ophie runs their mouth
