Hihi, I still constantly think about the fact that Baghera put English and French subtitles on her vlog. That Offline TV put Spanish subtitles on their collaboration with Quackity, and it's the only video of theirs (to my knowledge) that has subtitles in a language other than English. That RubberRoss put subtitles in Brazilian Portuguese on his video with Cellbit. Specifically with OTV and RobberRoss, they don't speak these languages. The people that they are collaborating with (Quackity and Cellbit respectively) do, and so do the audiences of those creators. They don't technically have to put up those subtitles, they would still have a successful video even if they left it to auto-generated English captions, or maybe, if they're feeling nice, manually added English captions. But they add the subtitles in the second language.
And the fact that they're manually added, not auto-translated or auto-generated, means that there's less room for confusion. I have watched way too many auto-translated VODs for my own good, and while they do the trick if you're in a bit of a pinch, they are quite janky.
IDK if they hire someone to do the translations (I know with Baghera, she likely translated the entire thing herself into both languages), or if the person that they're collaborating with buckles down to pull an all-nighter and add them all in, but either way the captions get added, and there's something about that that I find to be uniquely incredible. OTV and RubberRoss wouldn't have done it otherwise, if not for the person they were collaborating with.
I'm rambling at this point, though, so I'll cap it off here. I just really like it when there are captions in another language, even if I don't speak it, because it shows that the creator of the video took the time and effort to get them there in the first place.

I think the reason there's consistently been generations of minecraft youtuber groups (yogscast, team crafted, stampylonghead, dreamsmp, hermitcraft, qsmp, etc), just youtuber groups in general (sidemen, lunch club, the eboys, offlineTV, distractible/three peens in a pod, trash taste, etc), or even duos (smosh, game grumps, good mythical morning, chuckle sandwich, dan and phil, etc) is bcuz people crave that sense of community, that connection, between friends. they consistently spend time together since making videos are their literal careers and are usually always having a great time cuz it needs to be entertaining. craving that kind of strong and consistent type of relationship to drown out the loneliness and living vicariously through these content creators and their friend groups

'You kept complaining about there being no Easter baskets that fit your aesthetic so we're making some.' y/n explained to Corpse as they walked into his apartment, arms full of shopping bags. 'At least let me help carry it in.' He grabbed half of the load, ignoring their protests that it wasn't that heavy. 'You know I don't celebrate Easter, like ever, right?' Sitting at the table as y/n unloaded all the bags' goodies. 'I know but you said you were bored and I figured between streaming and making music, this could be fun little DIY project.' Corpse sighed, not needing another project on his plate. Voicing this, y/n replied, 'But it'll take a day, hell, few hours at most. I'll buy food.'
'Fine, as long as it doesn't permanently stain anything.' Glaring at them while also reminding them of the last time they'd used Corpse's bathroom to dye their hair. 'Already thought of that, bought containers!' Holding up the items in question. 'Fine, so how are we making these baskets exactly?' Looking at the spread of items; containers large enough to hold the white bunny themed baskets, black fabric dye, plastic gloves, pliers, scissors, rings, and studs. 'Well, first we have to dye them.' Corpse's movements lethargic as he got up to boil some water. The two not needing to reference the box's directions. Pushing the baskets down into the black liquid.
Y/n ran to open the door, thanking the delivery driver for bringing their food. Placing it on the table, the two ate while they waited for the basket to dry in the container's after having dumped the water once it ran clear. 'Give me your phone.' Corpse connected it to the bluetooth speaker he had in the kitchen, randomly choosing one of y/n's playlists. Watching them bop around as he pierced the bunny ears attached to the basket with rings. Opening and closing the rings with the pliers. A line of studs along the seams, Corpse attempted to make it look like a fleur de lis shaped tramp stamp. 'You want any?'
'Nah, that looks sick though.'
'Only took 3 hours,' exaggerating the time.
'Shut up, you had fun.' Y/n had taken a few photos of Corpse when he wasn't looking, deleting the ones he didn't like. Putting the pictures that got Corpse's stamp of approval into a hidden album.

'Ready to wake up dad?' y/n asked their daughter Riley. 'Okay, push open the door for me.' Holding it so the duo wouldn't have to worry about the juice spilling or the loud clatter of silverware that'd sure wake Corpse up. 'Thank you.'
'Good morn' tulip.' Slowly turning over, waking up to Riley dive bombing onto his back, additional turbulence. 'Aw thanks guys.' His voice even more gravelly from sleep. Y/n hoped today wasn't a bad day in terms of Corpse's chronic illnesses. Knowing that raising a kid wasn't an easy task on top of that. Sitting down next to him, both listened as Riley rambled about her favorite show. The only other sound in the room being Corpse's cutlery.
'Is there any other surprises for today?'
'I didn't really have anything planned. Just breakfast so we could at least say we celebrated father's day. What do you want to do?' Corpse gulping down the last of his orange juice, purposely caught Riley's eye. An amused smile stretched across y/n's face, knowing where this was heading. It'd be a day in with a bunch of junk food and doing nothing but a dog pile cuddle. 'Blanket fort?'
'Blanket fort!' The two parents laughing as Riley ran out into the living room. Kissing y/n's cheek, 'Thanks for all this.' It was definitely a bad day for him, exhaustion rolling off him in waves despite being awake for at least half an hour at this point. 'Should we go see what the little gremlin's up to?'
'Yea, I'll be there in a second.' He'd have to brace himself before getting out of bed.
'Okay, don't take too long.' Tone lighthearted, y/n and Riley would get the fort set up in the mean time. All comfy for when he finally did join them.
