Fresh would be interesting in the winged multiverse because he’s a parasite so his wouldn’t ever be ‘his’ wings but his hosts wings and since wings are supposed to represent their soul and Fresh feed’s off his hosts soul would’t the wings show in someway whatever state the soul is in like Fresh’s eye that he uses glasses to hide?

Oooooooo I guess I never considered he’d be swapping hosts fairly often! I kinda figured that was an emergency thing, like the body got too damaged or somethin XD

Maybe his influence on the soul/wings appears in feathers changing colors over time! He’s feeding off them, but also kinda living through them, so the wings would reflect that. Plus, if they just weakened and fell out, the parasite wouldn’t have access to flight (and it would make him look more terrifying or suspicious, which he doesn’t want), so he deals with it in a different way. They stay the size the host originally had, but over time slowly fade into the multi color feathered design that Fresh is so known for.

The colors are kinda misleading, though. Just because they’re bright, doesn’t make them strong. They’re barely hanging on by a thread, really, just enough to fly and move around. As soon as the host is either far too injured, or far too weak, they all just fall out all at once as Fresh moves on to the next!

#i just finished the red death scene and oh boy is it something else! #it didn't feel like i was writing rewrite erik in a disguise it felt like classic phantom! #it was different from his opera ghost persona who's heard but never seen (besides a rare hand) #the red death was heard seen and feared! :o #rewrite erik was still there with him explaining the story of 'don juan' and a couple adaptations (bob's burgers parrot: 'nerd alert!') #and his sense of humor was still there a bit! #he leans against the balcony and twirls his chain belt around saying 'what a shame what a shame!' like a total sass queen! ;D #he uses lots of big words like his opera ghost persona (so many synonyms to look up...) and he's menacing like og #the og gets what the og wants! ;) #and the og is so different from rewrite erik! :o #the red death scene feels like a true phantom of the opera moment #it's woah man :o #even though you can probably tell it's erik i used 'they' for the red death #death has no gender even in the edgar allen poe story! (except in family guy) #and i think rewrite erik would love using 'they' for that persona (and the opera ghost since mr. e and kristin are obvious) #he uses his guy sounding opera ghost voice yet his robe looks like a dress (and his girl voice peeks through during the don juan explaining) #the red death is a total mystery! ;)
