Never Twice. 8.5
Story: 8
Acting: 10
Chemistry: 10
Comparable to: Beautiful Love, Wonderful Life, (kdrama) ;Homemade Love Story (kdrama)
It’s a family story drama with 72 episodes (32min long). Is it worthwhile watching. Absolutely. It’s hella melodramatic though, so keep that in mind going in. You have a corrupt family, a somewhat vengeful widow, a suicidal couple, a golfer, two adults nearing their 50s who act like they’re in their 20s and a cute older couple. It can get a bit bonkers at times especially towards the later half, the ending had me rolling my eyes on how everyone ended up in one big happy family. And I mean EVERYONE. It’s still a really nice drama even with its ups and downs especially with the main leads who had a beautiful storyline that was written brilliantly for them. I mean the chemistry between the two. *chefs kiss*

thinking about Yeon trying to make the in-laws bond and while Rang is absolutely uninterested, Ji-ah knows how much it would mean to Yeon if they at least tried to get along so she caves and pesters Rang about doing sth together. so they train together for the marathon she wants to take part in or whatever bc "we don't have to talk there at least" and this ofc turns into Rang teaching her self-defense long after their marathon deadline is already over, this is how the unhinged in-laws can still win

Drama: Military Prosecutor Doberman
Genre: Military, Legal, Action
My Rating: 9/10
The Bad:
Low key wished that the main leads had more romance
The final revenge was not as satisfying as other previous ones
Would have been cool if Bolt (the dog) has a part of the action
The Good:
Bae Man & Woo In are savage fighters 🔥
Funny scenes 😂 which made the show feel lighthearted
The action
Good looking casts in uniforms/suits 👌🏻
After watching Crash Landing On You, I can't help but think that Kim Young Min is cute while watching him act his part well
Switching between villains done very well
Fast paced
Shocking plot twists
Entertaining plot
Character developments
Touching moments 🥺
Kim Woo Seok acting as No Tae Man is superb
Bolt the doberman 🐶
Good ending
I would recommend it if you like action and plot twists! Thanks for reading my review, have a great day~

Kill Boksoon
Kill Boksoon [trailer]
A single mother who is a renowned hired killer finds it difficult to achieve a balance between her personal and work life.
The official summary is much more accurate than the action heavy trailer which can be considered misleading. This is slightly more social drama than action movie, even if Boksoon's indeed a contract killer and there are a number of fight scenes. Which explains the presence of character actress Jeon Do-yeon.
But because the movie spends considerable time with her problems of raising her kid it has the effect that it makes you think about the implications of Boksoon's profession. Movies like John Wick firmly take place in movie land, which makes it considerably easier to accept the violence. But once that illusion is broken, it gets more difficult to "enjoy" the killings. The opening sequence with the samurai still feels "cool". But then, for example, the later meetings of the killer organisation were difficult for me to take seriously in light of the social conflict.

Big Mouth
This 16 episode long series had me at the edge of the seat from beginning to end. It kept me guessing and each plot twist made things more complicated. It was heart breaking in its injustice and there were things that were never really clarified. There were murderers that stayed unpunished and the mystery behind Chairman Kang was left in the air; but I still liked it. This is the kind of series that is best experienced without knowing much so I won't say anything else.
But if you like crime stories, i recommend this series.

Big Mouth. 7/8
Story: 9
Acting: 10 👌
Chemistry: 10
Comparable to: Vagabond (kdrama) ; Flower of Evil (kdrama); Cruel City (kdrama) ; Mouse (kdrama)
Is the drama way way overhyped, yeah. Is it good yeppers. First half of the drama is excellent but unfortunately it didn’t keep that pace and kind of steadily decline throughout the series (what is with all the Hulu/Disney+ shows. They start out like a bang then poof out at the end) First off though, Lee Jong Suk is phenomenal in this, there’s no denying that. Im Yoon Na is just as good, the chemistry between them were amazing. The rest of the cast is outstanding as well. The storyline is not overtly complicated nor is the mystery part that hard to figure out, the whole ‘who’s big mouth’ revelation is actually underwhelming when everything was revealed. In the end though, overall It’s a decent thriller suspense kdrama that was entertaining to watch.

“Do Bae Man”
I was able to finish it and I liked how it ended.
I do want to give a KUDOS to Kang Mal-Geum for her portrayal of Bae-Man’s aunt, the police detective. She was loud and rambunctious and feared nothing.
