the way i balance staying true to my tumblrina nature while also having a job and bills and rent is that at work while cleaning a room ill think of something id like to post and then repeat it over and over in my head and refine it until it sounds right and then i either post it as soon as i get a second to Or i forget it bc i think of anew post to make. and they always get 0 notes but its ok

#not a lot to post abt in a retirement home. its like yep this room is exactly the same as it was last week and the week before as well. #2day we mughtve had a missing resident idk. i also fink i saw her like 2 seconds b4 she went missing so im sure they found her #i was just sitting in the lunch room Seething and Coping ( iwas 40 minutes behind and had just found out i had an extra room on top of that #btw i didnt get out until 4:30. my shift ends at 330 but my ride leaves at 4 and due to The crisis my boss said i can stay clocked in until #4 so that i can do liberty and get overtime et cetera. whats hard is sometimes when i say et cetera i want you to read it as et cetera but #other times i want you to read it as E.T. cetera. but what can you do. #anyways where was i. right i was in the lunchroom oh also my ride didnt leave without me bc marians my bestie. anyways. i was in the break #room idk why i keep calling it the lunchroom im not a highschooler. its a breakroom we just sometimes eat lunch in there when im not outsid #or hiding in Closet <3333333333 #aaaanyways what was i talking abt. a good thing abt desktop tumblr is that i can read through all the tags so far #mobile its like a whole debacle basically. idr how but its like. whatever ider what i was talking about hold on #oh right. so i was in the break room and there was a nurse in there and on the walkie (they all have walkies. brenda also has one) i heard #someone go Sooo 245 wasnt in her room and she wasnt in the cafeteria :worried: im gonna look around 2nd but keep an eye out.. #and then like a minute later that nurse got up and quickly left idk if she got a different message bc i was listening to starstruck by sorr #and trying to figure out how expensive (indian restaurant) is. the answer is very ughhh i just wanted butter chicken and garlic naan and #rice and that wouldve been THIRTY DOLLARSSS :sobbed: it is very very good food though #i caint get it anyway my check hasnt come in. Tee be honest i might go ahead and order it anyway once my check does come in i rly rly want #butter chicken rn. if in being honest. #also the nurse was playing like a kids cooking channel youtube video rly loudly and the guy in it was obnoxious and i was having such a bad #day i was just sitting there hunched over in a corner forehead against the counter it was diree guys. #the way i made 'yeah i overheard on one of the nurses walkies that they couldnt find a resident for a couple minutes' into a 10 paragraph #debacle. this is what i mean when i say i have to be a tumblrina do you know how dire it would be if i had a social life and went outside #somebody would be like hey how has your day been! and id make it into a 15 hour long historical reenactment. lord

TODAY WAS A HAPPY DAY.

#technically it was yesterday #it’s nearly 00.30 #my sister and I tried new cafe in town #joined by my aunt and cousins #we tried the famous poured tiramisu!!! SO FREAKING GOOD #also poured matcha tiramisu ugh I miss the taste already #after that we went to grab seafood for dinner #literally so full of carbs today lol #got latte for the drive home bcs again and again they made it too sweet when I specifically told them LESS SWEET SMH #OH BEFORE THAT I WENT TO TRY PUMPKIN SPICE LATTE #when I got home I immediately stopped by my bestie’s house cos she wanted to borrow my cardigan #for a concert next week #she tried several outfit and I also lend her my accessories IT WAS SO FUNNN I gave her few tricks and tips for concert #it’ll be her first concert so I’m sooo excited for her🥳 #LIKE— we took so many pics for the looks #paired with shoes and bag and all that and SHE LOOKED GOOD AND CUTEEE WE BASICALLY SQUEALED #yeah that’s about it #might post some pics later #I’m gonna sleep nowww #rambles

It's so easy for you to say how your life has changed for the better when you and Rafe finally became official. He has been your best friend since you both were little, and now to see you both expand your relationship which you had formed since such a small age, always makes you feel like the happiest person on this planet.

It's no lie that it took you some time to finally get to the dating stage. After realising your feelings for each other, you both needed a lot of pushing from your friends to finally confess.

"He looks at you as if you're his whole world! Why aren't you telling him?" Your friends would groan, as they would catch you with your mouth almost agape as he walks past you and gives you a smile.

"No, I don't think he does," you would dismiss your friends' thoughts and before they could say anything else, you would be rushing to your class.

Now, fast forward to three years later, you both are in university and live in a shared apartment. You took your own time to reach to this stage of your life with each other, but you're so grateful where you are now, because there's no one else you'd rather do it with.

"When we'll grow old, we'll be roomies forever!" Rafe would tell you in his little squeaky voice when he wasn't even seven years old. You would giggle at him and eagerly nod. Who knew those little dreams will come true, and you both will be a lot more than just friends?

Sharing an apartment with Rafe is everything you've always imagined it would be, each night feels like the sleepover you had when you were little. Except this time, you don't have this fear of laughing a little too loud that a parent is on their way to scold you for being up for so late. You can laugh and talk as loud as you want to, eat whatever your heart desires and talk about any topic you feel like.

You both have your moments where you tend to forget you're dating and aren't just two best friends who share an apartment solely because they thought it would be fun. One time, you had one of your oldest albums in your camera roll opened, and you were laughing at all the pictures.

"Dude look at this one!" You laughed, finding a hidden gem. Rafe feigned shock as he looked at you.

"You did not just call me dude." He said, deadpanned. You pop a crisp in your mouth from the packet you're both sharing.

"What's wrong with that?" You asked shrugging.

"I'm your boyfriend, that's rude,"

"Whatever bro," you giggled, averting your attention to your phone.

"That's even worse!" He whined.

"OH MY GOD!" You yelled as you laughed out loud, the next picture on your phone seeming pretty unbelievable. It's from a Halloween night years ago, and you both totally forgot you dressed up very poorly as Barbie and Ken. But the thing is, you were Ken and he was Barbie.

You both were dressed in a hot pink from head to toe, and your make up is loud and proud. "You need to be Barbie again," you laughed, as you teased him by nudging his arm with your elbow.

"Definitely not," he chuckled, shaking his head.

It definitely doesn't stop here. It was your aunt's birthday and she had a big party, inviting a lot of your family. It was towards the start of your relationship, and you definitely weren't used to calling this idiot your boyfriend.

"And this is Rafe! He's my uh, my boyfriend! Yes, boyfriend, oh my god!" You said out loud, your aunt laughing at your reaction.

He only shook his head at you and flicked your ear. Your reflexes acted up instantly and your hands went to his hair to completely mess them up.

One thing about you both is that have been extremely competitive since you were little. You've always wanted to beat him in whatever game you're playing, bowling, basketball, or even just Uno. And when one wins, they make sure to remind the other about it every minute.

"Oh my god I totally crushed you!" You yelled, attracting attention from people around you as you jump up and down, looking at the final score of your bowling match with Rafe.

"I won, you lost, I won, you lost," you sang as you danced in front of him, and he just stood there, looking at you.

"Oh shut up," He groaned, walking away as you're there dancing to yourself. You laughed and ran to catch up to him, wrapping your arms around his shoulders and he instantly picked you up, you now on his back with your legs around his waist.

"I'm sorry bub, but I did crush you big time," you mumbled kn his ear. He groaned again, and then threatened to drop you on the ground. You let out a squeal and tighten your grip on him, which in turn made him laugh.

But you both are a whole another level of competitiveness when you are a team. There's not a single game invented which you both cannot win as a team, and the adrenaline rush you both get after you win results in some of the most crazy victory couple dances.

You found yourself at a party, and the game of beer pong is at an edge as people are watching you and him compete against another couple. It was the tiebreaker point, and if Rafe made the shot, you both would win.

"You can do this yeah?" You said, your hands holding his face as you looked him straight in the eye. "Just take a deep breathe, and shoot." He nodded at you and you handed him a ping pong ball.

He took his position and took a deep breathe in, clutching onto the ball in his hand. He shot the ball, and you watched from the side expectantly, your hands clutched together. It felt as if everything was in slow motion as the ball made its way to the other end of the table. You heard a soft plop as it landed in a cup of beer, and everyone around you started to cheer out loud.

You ran up to Rafe with the biggest grin on your face and he picked you up and spun you around. One of your friends came up to hand you the cup of beer. Rafe drank half of it, and then gave you the beer left to drink.

Everyone came up to you to congratulate you and hype you up even more, getting an occasional pat on your back. You looked at the couple who you both defeated, and Rafe made his way to them with you on his heels.

"Ding!" He said out loud. "That's the sound of the elevator, because you're not on our level!" He teased them and everyone around you gasped and cheered out loud, as you hollered around. The couple just gave you both a dirty look and leave, and you just looked at Rafe and gave him a high five.

"That'll tell 'em not to challenge us anymore," he said, wrapping his arm around your waist and kissing your head.

But what was the most concerning yet your favorite moment between you two was when he had this urge to be your knight in shining armor, but he also wanted to be the reason you needed help.

You were planning to take a little boat ride with all your friends, and as you all were standing on the dock, Rafe gave you a little nudge and dropped you in the water.

You screamed out loud as you went into the water, but quickly resurfacing as you swam up. You wiped your face with your hands as you pushed all your hair back, and when your eyes regained their focus, you saw everyone on the dock looking at you with utter shock.

You were gasping as you felt the cold water on your skin, when Rafe quickly removed his t shirt and came closer to the edge of the dock.

"Don't worry darling, I'm coming to save you!" He yelled with his chest wide as if he's a hero. You watched him jump into the water and swim up to you, and just as he reached you, you punch him in his arm, hard.

"What the fuck is this?!" You yelled, and Rafe came closer to you and wrapped his arms around you.

"What do you think this is? I'm here to save you," He said with a proud smile on his face.

"You asshole, you dropped me in the water," you said as he started to lead you towards the dock.

"What are you saying? You tripped off the edge and I'm here to save you. Did you hit your head on a rock or something?" He shook his head. You scoffed as he helped you get onto the dock. "I'm your knight babe, I'll always save you whenever you need to be rescued."

"What a relief." You said, rolling your eyes.

What he said that day is totally true though, all these times you've wanted help from someone, he's been there for you without fail. He picks you up everytime you fall down, even literally (but after he finishes laughing at you).

He makes you the happiest you have ever been. You'll always be so grateful for him.

Kraven liked spiders, just like he did lots of animals. He found them interesting and beautiful.

His opinion had changed when he met you.

“I’m just doing my job.” You said, putting your hands up in defense quickly running up a wall, away from the man who was currently trying to attack you. He seemed feral, almost.

“Well let me do mines.” He growled, and started to walk away when you shot a web to him, quickly making him turn back to you.

“Yeahhhh.. after what I just saw, can’t happen.” You folded your arms, narrowing your eyes at him.

“Well then pretend you didn’t see it.” He began to walk away again, not feeling like killing a popular hero and getting arrested for it.

“You bit some guys nose off, man!” You groaned and shot some webs in front of him, blocking him from leaving.

The man turned back, sighing.

“Fine.”

He ran up to you, you shot a web in his face, making him unable to see, you kicked his ankles, he fell down to the ground and ripped the web off his face, now pissed off.

He ran towards you, your eyes widening and you quickly shot your webs towards him, they hit his arms, and you pulled, throwing him towards the ground, as he was down you made a makeshift cocoon with webs, trapping him.

He threw his head back onto the concrete, and you picked him up like he weighed nothing as he trashed around in the webs.

“Jesus Christ, man, you’re so violent.” You said, as you struggled to hold him.

“If you let me go I can show you just how violent I am.” He mumbled.

“Sounds great. So great.” You rolled your eyes. Asshole. That’s when a loud noise behind you stopped you, a whole damn tiger running up.

You yelped and dropped Kraven, his head hitting the ground as he groaned, the tiger sniffing him before looking back at you, making a run for it.

“How’d you get a damn tiger?!” You yelled, running away.

So that’s how you were now standing in front of him, you both just staring, your arms folded.

“Sooo… how was your day?” You said, trying to lighten to very tense mood.

“It was good before I saw you.” He looked back at the group of people he had just murdered.

“Mm.. I see that. And what’d these guys do?”

“They are- they were working for my dad.”

“Well.” You sighed. “As much as I would love for this great conversation to continue, I gotta take you back to jail.” You shrugged.

He laughed quietly and shook his head.

You both fought for a while, and suddenly he was on top of you, breathing heavily as you tried to push him off, your attempts futile. He stared down at you, just staring.

It all was probably because of adrenaline, but you quickly lifted up your mask, and he was bending down to your level, and your lips suddenly connected in a hungry kiss.

when neytiri landed with y/n, she quickly ordered her to go home. she was too afraid to argue or even say goodbye to kiri.

kiri watched as y/n glanced at her before walking into the dark village toward her tent. kiri watched and then turned to face her dad.

“dad, i’m really sorry-“

“what the hell were you thinking? sneaking off with that girl like that?” he scolded.

y/n felt relieved and thanked her. she looked back up at jake with fear.

i think he honestly would have rather had kiri be with spider. to him, y/n was a troublemaker.

the girls look at neytiri but she tells them to shake it off.

neytiri laughs and squeezes y/n’s hand once more squeeze before going to follow her husband.

once they were out of earshot, y/n let out a breath that sounded like she had been holding it in that entire time.

“i never realized how scary your dad was.” she sighed out.

the boys and tuk laugh and gather her around them. they started frantically talking about what just happened.

the afternoon passed by and eclipse comes over the forest. the only light is the fire from the torches.

the villagers were sitting around, eating dinner, talking, just relaxing.

kiri was in her house all day, because as her dad kept reminding her, she was grounded me. the only time she’s allowed out is to go hunting with her brothers and that’s it.

what he doesn’t know is that when they are out hunting, they’re just fooling around the water and scaring all the fish away.

now, kiri was in the tent with her grandmother, mo’at, cooking something. kiri was tucked away in the corner crafting something when y/n came to visit.

y/n walked in and greeted the tsahìk first with the formal greeting, touching her forehead gently and then holding her hand out. she muttered “i see you” before mo’at greeted her back.

y/n then walked over to kiri and sat next to her.

“i found something. look.” she sighed. she snuggled in to kiri’s side with a new discovery in her palm.

she opened up her hand for kiri to see it. a geode like the one she found yesterday for one of the kids.

“whoa, where’d you find this?” kiri gasped.

“it’s a really cool story, let me tell you.” y/n said excitedly.

kiri smiled at her and nodded. “okay, tell me.”

y/n continued to tell her about her journey in the forest, finding the geode, how she found it, something funny that happened on her way back home, and something else.

kiri admired her the whole time, how her face changed, how she expressed herself using her hands, how y/n would lose her breath every couple seconds because she was talking too fast.

all those little things made kiri fall more and more in love with the girl.

mo’at watched her granddaughter discreetly and smiled softly to herself.

she couldn’t get over how similar her and y/n were to neytiri and jake. or tsu’tey and swylwanin.

kiri and y/n stayed this way until neteyam came in and warned y/n that his dad was coming back.

“oh, crap. uh- bye.” y/n kissed kiri’s cheek before standing up and running to the entrance. she quickly said goodbye to mo’at before running out in a direction that jake wouldn’t see.

kiri sighs happily and looks at the geode her girlfriend gifted her. she moved into the corner closet and looks for a box.

she kept a box that carried all the things y/n gave her. rocks, fossils, human discoveries like buttons or jewelry like earrings.

kiri placed the geode in the box gently and then closed it.

mo’at spoke up. “she’s a good one. don’t mess it up.”

“i won’t, grandmother.” kiri chuckled.

she hummed in response. kiri sighs and thinks again, i definitely won’t
