Well I raise you: Captain Rex didn't get formal pilot training (as mentioned in the Umbara Arc -> Krell: "Are your men pilots now?" Rex:"My men may not be pilots,..." doesn't directly say that Rex isn't trained, but would be a logical assumption, seeing as I don't think the Kaminoans would waste resources training a Captain who won't be piloting as a pilot) BUT Anakin taught him, which is why he can get on that ship and fly through the debris and save Ahsoka.

Anakin prepared both of them in such a way that they survived order 66.

Zethino's Love Trial

Fair Warning: Spoilers ahead.

The first time I did this trial of sorts I failed, utterly. I got disapproval for all three answers that seemed to make perfect sense. His reactions left me utterly confused. I started to doubt everything I thought I knew about him was somehow wrong. So I reloaded and tried again. On the second try, I selected what I felt were the most shallow or surface-level of answers next. It resulted in no approval losses. It might have even resulted in gains. I can't say for certain, as my approval with him was maxed out at the time.

Still, I was left even more baffled. But upon some reflection, it slowly dawned on me as to why he reacted the way he did.

Sure, we're not wrong in choosing the answers that make sense. All of them might be right to varying degrees.

The problem is airing out his most vulnerable aspects in front of an absolute stranger. Again, he disapproves of not the correct answers but us sharing them so easily with a random dryad we just met.

Some may think this seemingly serene moment with Zethino is a safe space and time for honesty. I was fooled, but that's not the case for Astarion. He's had to be on guard for two centuries. Even here, he doesn't drop it or feel safe. Not understanding that aspect of him, we pay for it by earning his disapproval.

However, with a player who offers flippant answers to Zethino instead of serious ones, he loves us all the more for it. Because it means he knows his secrets and vulnerabilities are safe with the one he loves.

Basically, Astarion needs someone who doesn't kiss and tell. Perhaps even one of the main keys to winning Astarion's heart is to protect his newfound dignity and privacy above all else.

In episode 4 where daemon talks to rhaenyra before the borthel scene, he says something about why he doesn't have children yet. He says that he doesn't think a child could grow up in a hostile environment. This is an important statement from someone who is considered brutal and cold. Once more there is a side of daemon showing that easily gets overlooked. For his own children he wants a loving and safe home. An environment where they can feel loved. And yet there a still people discussing if he is a a evil mastermind with no real feelings? Those small details about the way he sees things are so fucking important and I will cry when he finally gets the family life with kids he always wanted.

I have just finished writing my Valentine's fanfic and AAAAHHHH the feels!!!!!! 😭😭😭 My God, I've enjoyed SO MUCH every single word I've written!!!!! I swear I feel my chest full of love and devotion for these two characters 😭😭😭 My babies 🥺🥺🥺 I love them sooooo much!!!! 😭😭😭😭😭

And yes, it ended up being 21 pages and 11k words long (in Spanish at least, since that's the language in which I write), but you know what? This is EXACTLY what I wanted to write. It's EXACTLY my idea of a cute, romantic fic starring these two characters. So I'm definitely NOT deleting anything (this is for the voice in my head telling me that I write way too much 😬). I mean, I didn't want to delete anything before finishing it, but even less now! I'm obviously gonna revise and translate it (and then revise the translation of course), but the fic stays as it is.

My God, I am SO HAPPY I was able to get this story off my head! Been meaning to write something like this for a veeeeery long time, but I just couldn't seem to find the right time. Until now! And I am SO DELIGHTED with the outcome! 🥹

I really really hope you guys like this fanfic when I post it next Wednesday! I've truly enjoyed writing it! 💖

My Happy Marriage Anime Review

Oh The Feels... Includes Spoilers

I watched the last episode of My Happy Marriage and I love how they ended it. I know most anime its 12 episodes so I was prepared for this to be the last one with no 2nd season. Now that being said if there is more I will gladly accept it though. I have come to look forward to Wednesday and actually watching netflix because of this show I will be lost without it now.

In such a short time Miyo & Lord Kudo won a place into my heart. I think because to me the show is like no other most shows are all happy go lucky the whole way. With them it was anything but I mean Miyo went through hell her whole life to be the humble woman she became. She needed love that she was sure she would never get. Then Lord Kudo people saw him as a ruthless man all because the women he was to marry left him first when in all actuality he just wanted someone to love him for him and not his money and power.

The 2 together saved each other in so many ways, it warms my heart. The way they ended last weeks episode I was in tears I was like no we can't lose Lord Kudo! Anyways I was so happy this week Miyo went into the dream world to bring him back. The way she overcame herself to realize she wanted to spend the rest of her life beside Lord Kudo this warmed my heart. When they both confessed they wanted no one but each other I was so happy yet still in tears happy tears but tears just the same. I know I plan to sit down and start reading the manga soon because by the end of this I still need more of them. I want to see more of them.

If you haven't had a chance to watch this you need to. Its an emotional roller coaster but worth every second of it. I have enjoyed making videos for the couple as well its always nice doing videos when you can see the love there and you play on that and not having to manipulate anything. There will always be a place in my heart for these two now I'm just sad to see it all end.... I'm off to go mope now lol.
