im acutally going crazy over any time crowely's voice goes soft. specifically the "it burned down... remember?"
he doesnt want to say it again. not only because of the shiny new trauma he has with the memory, but because he doesnt want to remind aziraphale that its gone. he doesnt want to watch aziraphale's face to fall as he remembers the bookshop—his shop, his home for over two centuries—is gone. its burned down; the building, his chairs, his books, his memories, all of it.
but he has to. so he says it gently. it cant take away the pain, but he can lessen the blow, if a fractional amount at least. he reminds him softly, but doesnt give aziraphale time to spiral.
"you can stay at my place? if you like?"
he says it just as gently, just as soft. its an offer he's never given, a line theyd never crossed before. its new and its scary, but hey, it was almost the end of the world and they might die tomororw. what did they have to lose?
so he offers with a kindness to his tone only ever reserved for aziraphale alone, and even then only shown on rare occurrences. only when he knows the angel is close to breaking. he reminds aziraphale whats been lost, but also reminds him that hes not alone. he still has crowley.

can people be nicer about the solar eclipse because i've had people irl laugh at me when i express disappointment over the bad weather forecast and online i see tons of people being rude about it too? like where is your whimsy and sense of awe at the universe and how dare you insinuate that i'm being frivolous to be sad about potentially missing what is, for my area, a once in a lifetime event?

bwah! i live! (i think!) (???)
i have some sketches for you! since im back in school i've been messing around with colored pencils and pens and such! i forgot how fun it was... bwahhh
anira... an oc i've recently come up with! (not welcome home related, but she is in my thoughts...)
i just think she's very neat... ( Kolly belongs to @thatthirstyweirdo ! mwah! )
and!!! have a Rainy! bwah!
he's in his mob disguise... i need to explain that later, ehe, it is all very, very silly! speaking of mob disguises, i'd like to think he made a few friends along the way! i've grown quite fond of them actually!
vicky and jessie... they are so silly... (they are besties! bwahhhh!)
vicky is a theater kid... she really loves theatrics! a big hopeless romantic as well, she loves love what can i say? bwah!
she is a vampire! though im not very sure on... puppet... vampire rules... so i'd like to think she can go outside and not have a need for blood, it's more of a preference if anything!
(She does get cravings though... so she carries around a teething ring! but it is a little embarrassing...)
jessie is basically an All In One! Barbie, if you will. She's very well rounded! very handy! (she owns a motorcycle! haha!) she's a career woman! wooo!
they are very silly together... all three of them...
my goodness. do not even get me started on maverick's friends...
(guess what! guess whatttt! i have wifi today... and it is good, too! so guess what!)

there's something sooooooo heartbreaking about quests as a narrative piece. you set out on this journey to rescue someone or defeat a great evil and along the way you face hardship and horror and you grieve and fight and love and lose and then when it's all over you come home. everything is the same as when you left, but you're so irrevocably different that you no longer fit in the one place you used to be truly at peace. you're tired from your journey but you find no rest or recovery, only ghosts. and you almost wish for another quest, another dangerous mission, because at least then you know your purpose.
