Today is a dreamy, dreary day.

I made progress on honing my intro. the fave phrase I’ve written today is ��pervasive tendrils of sexism”

I watched a wonderful, brilliant friend defend her dissertation and I am so proud of her!!!

I had a lovely little mid-day Macy walk w/ S to talk about family stuff. It rained this morning and there was soggy food everywhere on the ground, so it was nice to have someone else to help run interference

I made delicious tofu with a spicy soy/peanut sauce for lunch

I got out one of my fave cozy sweaters to keep/wear in the office

Now I'm going to do a second push of revisions before making gnudi with peas and a lemon butter sauce for dinner

The sound of the day is the hissing of tires on asphalt, filtering in through the open office window :)
