like do i think the people i enjoy would ever do that stuff? no! i don’t think they would, but i don’t know. and i know that i don’t know. i don’t want them to. i hope they haven’t or won’t, but ultimately i don’t know.

like this is the second time a content creator that i really enjoyed and liked a lot turned out to be a groomer. this fucking sucks and it feels like a blow to the chest. at least for dan i had already been able to like... distance myself and understand that these people are not infallible. like don’t expect the worst but i am begging you to not assert that these people are perfect human beings who’ve never made mistakes or who aren’t capable of doing bad things because they just wouldn’t in your mind. like yeah, i assume they wouldn’t, but i know that they can. they’re capable of doing bad things and that’s why you shouldn’t blindly trust content creators to that matter. they’re still ultimately a normal person. normal people are capable of doing bad things. they are strangers and you only see what they want you to see.
