Rebekah fetched you and Theo at four in the morning. She had said you were both late. However, neither of you recalled a time being arranged for your holiday preparation day. And neither of you would have agreed to get up so early.

But an hour later you were both sleepily sitting in one of the large rooms in the Mikaelson house that Rebekah had taken over for her preparation day. Rebekah must have been up for hours because there were two large piles of gifts in massive cardboard boxes that had your names on them.

“Ok. (Y/N) you take Hayley, Cami and Hopes gifts. Theo, you take Klaus and Kols. I’ll wrap Elijah's, he's a particular snob when it comes to gifts being wrapped well.” Rebekah said. While Rebekah had the fancy thick version of the wrapping paper, the kind with measuring squares on the back so you knew exactly how much to cut as you glided the scissors through, you noticed that you and Theo had identical roles only they were much thinner and probably cheaper. No doubt due to Rebekah’s uncertainty that either of you could wrap anything at her standard.

While you managed to wrap your gifts rather well and after an hour and a half your pile was halfway through, Theo was still on his first few gifts. You showed yours to Rebekah once each was done, she added a few ribbons and added it to the correct box if it was approved. If not it was sent back to be wrapped again.

“Hey! Don’t steal my wrapping paper!” You complained. Theo rolled his eyes as he looked at you. He had sticky tape in his hair and stuck to the arms of his jumper. There were small scrunched balls of wrapping paper and some torn bits scattered around him.

“I ran out.” He grumbled as he tried to wrap a large gift and found that the bit left from the tube of paper he took from you wasn’t big enough.

“You ran out. We had fifteen tubes each. How did you run out?” You said and chuckled slightly.

“Because wrapping is hard now give me another tube. This one’s really big and hard to wrap.” He said and snatched at one next to you.

"Rebekah. Make Theo stop wasting my wrapping paper or I hit them with the tube." You complained. Rebekah looked up from the gift that she was wrapping carefully. The last of hers that she had to wrap.

“Maybe you should just stick the little bows on the gifts for me instead?” Rebekah said as she looked over at him and saw several rolls worth of paper strewn everywhere.

“I can do this! It’s just wrapping.” Theo said as he accidentally ripped the bit of paper he’d been using to wrap the large gift. “Where are the bows?” He asked in defeat. Rebekah patted the floor next to her and they went through each gift adding bows and ribbons she hadn’t gotten to you. You joined them once you were done.

“My god it looks like christmas threw up in here!” Kol said as he passed by the room towards the end of the day and looked around.

Need Help Finding Drarry Fics!

Ok so I can't find two Veela Draco dreary fics that used to be on AO3. In the first one Dracos a Veela and approaches Harry asking him to be his mate (Veelas have some agency and can choose their mates in this fic). Harry and Draco are on relatively good speaking terms and Harry is an auror that has done some work to protect Draco in the past. Anyways Harry's super against Dracos request/proposition and its eventually revealed that he had a Veela Boyfriend (L something? )who became super toxic and controlling and then raped Harry during the Blazing season (basically when he went into heat). Harrys super traumatized by this and Draco wants to help Harry overcome the trauma. Theres also a side story of Pansy dating this guy who is trying to find his relatives and it turns out the relative (cousin?) was Harry's ex.

The second fic was another post Hogwarts Veela Draco fic where Harry unknowingly rejects Draco who gets sick and starts dying due to the rejection. Harry, Hermione and Ron become friends with Draco and worry about him as they notice his illness but Draco doesn't tell them anything. Before he dies Draco decides to do everything that he's ever wanted so he does a ton of crazy adventurous things too and he also takes on a secret identity that does charity work (the fic definitely had a secret identity tag) and Harry falls for Draco's secret identity and they go on dates. Now that I think about it im not sure if this was a Veela or just a soulmates fic...

As a genderless person, it’d be nice if people could remember that not everyone is transmasc or transfem—that some of us are neutral, that some of us aren’t even on or anywhere near the male/female and masc/fem binaries.

It’d also be nice if more people would acknowledge that HRT and surgery isn’t exclusive to transmasc and transfem people. Like, a GQ/NB person who wants phalloasy, top surgery, or testosterone isn’t necessarily transmasc. And a GQ/NB person that wants vaginoplasty or oestrogen isn’t necessarily transfem. Wanting to transition when you’re neither a man nor a woman isn’t necessarily about identifying with masculinity or femininity, it’s about wanting a body that’s the most comfortable, a body that’s the least dysphoria-inducing.

(because i've been watching youtube videos and having loki on the mind-) is anyone else a bit weirded out how, when people making theory or other such videos talk about lady loki, especially recently with lady loki in disney+ series looking like more of a real possibility, they only ever mention the "loki in sif's body" backstory? which yes, is a canon "explanation", shall we say, of lady loki but it's not the only one, and it's certainly not the most recent one? idk it's just strange to me because like you can mention both??

I guess that they would maybe view it as the 'origin' for that iteration of Loki? Maybe it's because when some people hear 'lady loki' the image that comes to mind is of the sif lady Loki and not the one from AoA. But yeah for sure weird to just not mention AoA Loki at all :/

Without the chemicals of arousal flooding my brain, I can finally think. And my thoughts bring me no ease. I’ve spent ten hours with this boy. We’ve bared nearly every secret of our bodies to each other. And no few of the secrets of our minds too. I feel like I know him better than I know the people I’ve lived with or around for eighteen years.

And, two hours from now, he’ll be gone. I’ll never see him again.

It’s not to be borne. I don’t want to give him up.

But do I have the right to ask him for more than these twelve hours? The agency he works for has gone to great lengths to ensure that our identities are kept private from one another. I’d willingly shed my mask right now if he asked it of me. But is it fair for me to ask him to shed his?

He’s in arguably the more vulnerable position here. I’ve got family, money, and political power on my side if he were the type of person to come after me. If what he’s said is true, he has almost nothing. One friend, no money, no family.

I’d be risking a reputation of being gay (which is true) (and I don’t care if everyone knows it), and of being the type of man who hires escorts (which probably every man in the old families has done at one time or another. And no few of the women).

He’d be risking a reputation of being an escort. Prostitution may be the oldest profession, but it’s also still the most reviled, as unfair as that is. He could lose job opportunities, educational ones, and I don’t know his friend, but there are definitely some people that would discard a friendship with him over it.

So, I risk almost nothing by revealing myself, and he risks everything.

I feel a black cloud of grief rise up in me as I realize that, no, I can’t try to find out who he is.

Ok ik i just sent the trans cheerleader race ask BUT I HAVE THOUGHTS

-cheerleading is something race has done for years so before he came out

-when he came out in like freshmen year he quit all of his "girly" things immediately

-then a few months later he realized he just missed cheerleading so much so he rejoined!!!!

-he isn't allowed to cheer with his binder on

-sometimes he does anyway

-when he does charlie throws a shoe at him

-the cheer team is so supportive. He's the first guy on the team so they're all clampring to teach him girl stuff

-"guys.... I know all this stuff already....." "Yeah but it's different now!! We want to know what it's like from a dude's point of view"

-yk that video where the trans kid's class collected enough money for a name change and gave it to them as a birthday present? The cheer team + football team do that for race

-ever since coming out the football team has been trying to get race to join. They're trying to work out a joint custody situation with the cheerleaders

WAIT IM CRYING

cheering was always something that he really enjoyed, but as he started questioning his gender and privately experimenting with pronouns and gender identity, he just. gets nervous about it?

he really enjoys it still, but he feels like he shouldn't.

so, he quits cheer near the end of the season, and about a week after he quits, he comes out publicly.

obviously it's pretty rough, but he gets ? mostly positive reactions!

but then he just. he realizes hes so bored, and he really misses his girls- they were the best, and the vast majority of them were proud of him for coming out, so after he talks it over with his parents (who i imagine are really supportive), he goes back to the cheer coach and explains everything.

WAIT I JUST THOUGHT: i love it when jack and race are adopted siblings so, for a moment, pls imagine Mama Medda and jack and racer

obviously she allows him back on the team, bc she loves him and he was one of her favorites, and the rest is history!

cheering with his binder the first time ended with him having to sit out for the second half of practice bc he was in pain, so there's literally a new rule implemented for their before-game practices: Make Sure Racer Isn't Wearing His Binder

obviously it. kind of sucks, but his coach allows him to order a size up for his uniform shirt, just so everything is less noticeable when he's not wearing his binder!

and YES they all love him and try so hard to teach him new things

"okay so this is how you need to stand and this is how you need to hold us and--" "okay but guys i know how to--" "shhhhh"

and YES to the football team thing

he's best friends with at least half the team so every game, the cheer team and the football team basically fight over who gets dibs on being Race's Favorite for the night

Chloe’s head hangs heavy on Mari’s shoulder as the pressurised air surrounding them vibrates with the sounds… of well… a plane. Chloe had a tough couple weeks; late night combat practises with the new team (LB, Hornet, Viperion and Ryuuko) has obviously taken a toll on her partner. Both wrapped in a thick velvet blanket that Chloe remembered to pack (thank kwami) sharing a pair of headphones, both were lulled into a peaceful slumber.

Alya laughs as Lila tips her small glass of diet coke (that a flight attendant painstakingly poured for her) on a sleeping Marinette’s side of Chloe’s blanket, effectively waking her up. “Oopsies! Sorry Marinette! You see, the cabin air has really been worsening my arthritis. I didn’t mean it! I swear! Cross my heart!” apologized Lila with fake concern as Alya giggles beside her.

Marinette, literally seeing Lila’s crossed figures behind her back says “At least Chloe is still sleeping, she needs the rest.” Alya, Lila and her empty cup saunter beck to their seats nearby.

Mari and her class finally land in Gotham’s cold December night. Freshly hushed into a private shuttle, the class are driven to their hotel. It is late: around 3:30 AM. With heavy eyelids the class gazed out the bus’s windows in awe. The merging view of traffic and Christmas lights chase them to their residence. No one really remembers or knows what happened that night. Just the feeling of falling, be it into a white fluffy hotel comforter or into the crisp Gotham air.

“Oh! My! Gosh!!!” hears Marinette as Lila on the bus to Wayne Enterprise. “I feel so. At. Home!” In Marinette’s tired ears, there were more exclamation marks.

“Of course… The only thing that can inhabit Gotham alleyways are cockroaches and villains,” Chloe grumbles beneath her breath, looking out the window.

“What have I ever done to you Chloe?” Lila cries, “I understand why Marinette bullies me, she is a jealous and vile girl. But I thought you, Chloe, want to be a better person, not a bully like that bitch, Marinette!”

“How dare you. How dare you. HOW DARE YOU!” Chloe yells as the recent words loop in her mind,

“Not gonna call your daddy, huh?” Alya taunts.

Chloe, with tears in her eyes begins, but is quickly interrupted by Marinette, “No she will not. She doesn’t need to. Chloe grew a lot over the last couple months, I’m so proud of her. She doesn’t need your bitch-ass approval.” Marinette grasps Chloe’s hand which previously wrapped itself around the fabric of Chloe’s heavy caramel winter coat.

“Quiet on the bus!”, A yell came from the front.

“But, Mr. Bus Driver… Marinette is being a…”

“Shut it! Y’all want me to kamikaze this shit into a building? I’m guessing y’all value your lives so shut it!”

“Ms.Guardian, can I please have a cookie?” Pollen softly asks from the inside of Chloe’s giant white faux leather handbag.

“Shh… Pollen! Now’s not the time!!!” stresses Tikki.

“Please Ms. Guardian!!! I’m so so so hungry. This bag isn’t very warm and it’s taking all my energy to keep warm. A lil blubber wouldn’t hurt…. please!!”.

“Of course Pollen,” quietly respond Mari with a grin, “Here you go.” She pulls out a couple cookies from a Tupperware and hands them to Pollen. “Please share them with Tikki,” whispers Marinette into the bag.

Marinette and Chloe then hears two tiny “thank you”s followed by the sound that can only be described increasingly aggressive chomping. Both girls giggle quietly.

“Welcome to Gotham,” says an unenthusiastic man at the front desk. “Congratulations, you are…” He checks his computer. “On time? Interesting.”

“Yes, we are aware,” grumbles Mrs. Bustier, already done with the man’s attitude.

“Okay so before the tour starts I’m doing to need the student who set-up this field trip to sign a couple forms and stuff. Here ya go.” The man pushed a thicc pile of paper into the teachers hand.

“Oooh! That would be me sir!” Lila chirped, intercepting the papers before skipping back to her posse of her’s. A few seconds after beginning to fill out paperwork Lila cries “Ouch! My wrist! My arthritis! Can someone help me filling out all these form.”

“I’ll fill them out, I’m only going to need your signatures,” offered Max.

“Thank you Max, you are so sweet!” Lila complements.

“Of course, your arthritis was badly affected by the altitude yesterday, you shouldn’t be staining your wrist so early!” Max blushed.

“Maribug, you gonna to say something?”

“Nah, just watch. Entertainment without a Netflix membership.”

Pride Month Multi-fandom Rec list

Happy Pride month yall! As someone who is asexual I know we don’t get a lot of representation in the public media BUT we do sometimes get some really good representation in fan fiction. So, for Pride month I wanted to share some of my favorite fan fics from multiple fandoms that feature some really good representation of multiple different queer identities. As I am ace, there is probably more ace recs than anything else, but I have tried to include some other identities as well. So without further ado, I present to you a multi-fandom rec list that nobody asked for:

Ok so Sam Wilson is one of my favorite mcu characters and I am soo happy that he finally got his own show with Bucky but this is a fic from before tfatws featuring an ace Sam Wilson and his two supportive boyfriends: Steve Rogers and Bucky Barnes. This fic is beautifully written and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a fic full of all those ace feels.

Dear Granger, Love Pansy by onlykatelyn. 6k words (hp: Pansimone, wlw)

I don’t tend to read a lot of wlw fics but this one is soo cute and angsty. It features a pining!Pansy who writes a series of heartfelt letters to Hermione and has Drarry and Blaron in the background. Its overall a super enjoyable read and even won a Drarry award in 2018!

when i’m set alight by @killproof. 6k words (atla: Zukka, trans-gay Zuko & bi Sokka)

This a cute little Zukka fic from Sokka’s perspective that basically follows the plot of the the second half of book 3 and shows Sokka falling for Zuko. It’s fluffy and adorable and features a trans Zuko but like it’s done really subtly and really well I think (also Aang and Toph are trans as well I believe).

Ok so I am in love with the idea of Zuko from Avatar the Last Airbender being ace and this is one of my all time favorite ace Zuko fics. It is sooo soft and features an aromatic Toph Beifong and Sokka being the supportive partner that every ace hopes to find, and anyway its heartbreaking and adorable.

Ok so If you haven’t seen Sense8 stop what your doing right now and go watch it because it is an amazing scifi show with found family and more representation then you could dream of and this fic basically re-tales the last episode from the perspective of one of the characters in a CANON polyamorous relationship.

The Case of the Missing Cockatiel by gryvon. 14k words (Psych: Shassie, bi/pan/omni characters)

So I don’t think either Shawn or Lassiter’s sexualities are explicitly stated in this fic but Shawn is basically a chaotic bi in canon and defiantly not monosexual and Im pretty sure Lassie is bi/pan/omni in this fic as well. Either way its a great case fic featuring our favorite sassy psychic detectives who somehow managed to get real psychic powers this time.

I Want You to Love Me (i want you to leave me) by @miniongrin. 20k works (mcu: Pepperony, ace Tony Stark)

I came across the Asexual Tony Stark tag at some point this year and I got a little obsessed because he is such and interesting character to read as ace. this is probably one of my favorite ace Tony fics featuring Tony trying to figure out and come to terms with his identity and a Avenger field trip to a pride parade. TW: Tony as an ace character participates in sex he’s not totally into because of social expectations and pressures that he feels under.

you belong (to me) by hermionesmydawg . 30k words (mcu: Stucky, gay Buck & bisexual Steve)

So first off this is a NSFW BDSM fic so if that’s not your thing be warned. If you are cool with that though this is one of my favorite Stucky fics featuring a BAMF Natasha Romanov, a supportive Sam Wilson, and as the author puts it an “Aggressively bisexual Steve Rogers.” On top of the BDSM, it is mostly a cute friends-to-lovers fic about Steve, Bucky and their friends trying to live their lives after leaving the Avengers.

Little Compton Street (One Rainy Night in Soho) by @writcraft & @celilasart. 66k words (Harry Potter: Drarry, mlm)

Both Harry and Draco identify as gay in this fic but I love it and wanted to include it in the list because the fic does a fantastic job of exploring queer history in the UK and puts a magic spin on it. It is also just a well written fic featuring loads of other lgbtq+ characters & fluffy romance with a side of smut.

Someone please stop me from writing the ghost tubbo idea i had a month ago to procrastinate on the dreamon au

Because like i had this AU and maybe if i write about it here it will stop me??? I can’t actually find the conversation on discord where i talked about it so i’m probably just gonna throw stuff here from memory and change half of it

Feel free to write a fanfic inspired by this, but 1. tag me 2. i’d appreciete if you credited the idea or at least said i inspired you ^^’

Ok so Tubbo died during the Festival. Like I don’t care if in this a Respawn!AU or Permadeath, irl or whatever. Tubbo doesn’t respawn and dies in Tommy’s arms.

Assuming it’s a world with Respawn, Tommy just waits for Tubbo’s body to disintegrate or whatever the bodies in this AU do, as Techno massacrates people in the background, he just repeats to himself something along the lines of “C-come on Tubbo! Respawn already!”, but his friend stays limp in his arms, growing cold.

In the end, they need to flee, like they did during the festival. Feel free to make Wilbur even more insane or evil whatever you prefer and make him leave the body saying either don’t take it, he’s a traitor, just like Eret or just it’s going to be a dead weight (ha, a pun!) (that was so inappropriate to the scene sorry ignore this), so they leave the body and it’s buried in the Manburg just like in the later Tommy’s stream where he zoomed onto the grave with a sign saying that here lies the traitor Tubbo.

But you can also make Tommy carry his dead friend’s body all the way to Pogtopia, anger and grief clashing, still in the denial stage, hoping Tubbo will come back. Like Tubbo dies all the time! He’s just such a clingy, clumsy big man right? He will come back, right?! Tommy rests Tubbo somewhere in the Pogtopia on a makeshift bed hoping it will make the healing faster and as Techno and Wilbur talk ‘downstairs’ he realizes something. Tubbo isn’t coming back. He would be back by now normally.

He’s shook to the core with the realization and shakingly goes down to Techno and Wilbur. The pit happens, but at the end, even after Techno’s speech about the language of violence, maybe Tommy snaps? Maybe Tommy yells how Tubbo isn’t coming back? Maybe the older men, practically brothers to Tommy, realise that Tubbo is nowhere to be seen? Maybe they realise the boy, the spy, the victim of the situation is dead? Maybe Niki stares and gasps in horror in the background and is the one who goes to Tommy first to comfort him and help him with the wounds from both the pit and the whole today? Maybe Wilbur stares in horror at his fists, realising he’s the one who put Tubbo in danger? He wanted Tubbo to do the speech, he made Tubbo run back and forth between the two leaders, maybe if he didn’t pressure Tubbo as much, Schlatt wouldn’t have noticed. Wilbur falls to the ground and sits with his head between the knees for a long time, wondering about what he did wrong.

Technoblade? He’s awkward and we all know it. He may be a god of PvP, the best farmer in Minecraft, but he’s still awkward. Of course he wants to comfort his little brother, but what can he really do? He’s at loss and still hasn’t fully accepted what he’s done. He killed Tubbo, but he had thought he’d respawn/survive(I really went at the beginning and said this can be also for permadeath au and then wrote it all about respawn au but whatcha gonna do huh).

Overall the tension in Pogtopia is high, but to be fair, so is Manburg. People didn’t know about the execution and (you know what im just gonna keep going as if the respawn au was planned) the brush with death, even if they respawned, was never pleasant. It’s even worse when they somehow find out Tubbo didn’t respawn. Some people are happy with the fact, others are in shock and grief.

And here can end chapter 1! Or at least it feels natural for me to cut off somewhere here! Idk really it all depends on your writing style. I'm not gonna dictate how you’re supposed to write idk myself neither.

Assuming Tommy took the body with him, he later goes on to the only place where Tubbo found peace. Where Tubbo went during the war, the only place where he wasn’t bothered, where he was safe and truly free, without a leader or a dictator over him. Tommy went to Tubbo’s jungle base.

He took the body with him, not letting anyone of Pogtopia know where he’s going, not wanting a Wilbur or a Technoblade, especially a Technoblade with him. He felt as though he needed to do this alone. He needed to make sure his friend, at least posthumously, gets the treatment he deserves. So he buried his best friend as he would bury a king.

Tommy spends the night at the jungle base and awakes at night, by a greenish blue light. It’s not too strong, but it’s just enough to be felt. He rubs at his eyes, trying to awake himself, to see if he’s not seeing this, but there it is. A will-o-wisp floating in the middle of the building. Tommy gets up, picks up his sword and carefully maneuvers around the wooden beams with a collapsed floor, he gets to the centre.

He gently cups his fingers and let’s the ember fall on his hands, but as soon as it touches them, there’s a bright flash and Tommy falls to the floor momentarily blinded. When he regains his sight he looks up and sees a ghost floating above him. Its back is turned to him, but he can tell it’s as confused as he is. But wait… He recognizes that shirt. It may be more bright and glowish, but…

“TUBBO” he screams in the dead of the night, the nature suddenly quieting. The spirit turns around with phantom tears in their eyes “,Tommy?” they whisper and that was the moment both of them were sure of each other’s identity.

Tommy rushes, tries to stand up and hug Tubbo, but he simply passes through the boy.

As disheartening as that was, Tommy is still overjoyed to see Tubbo alive. Or at least here, as they soon agree that he is in fact dead. Feel free to put a flashback here, a new paragraph or whatever maybe a new chapter from tubbos perspective.

The last thing Tubbo saw was a grim grin from Techno and a flash of blue and red fireworks. Here is a “how creative can you get” test! You can put somehow afterlife looks like, maybe something comes for Tubbo to go on, but he refuses? Maybe he sees nothing or everything is a blur? Maybe it was the last thing and the first thing he saw was Tommy’s crying face? Here is your free chappy for all the angst it can fit! Have fun go wild, turn on some sad music and let it ALL out!

Tubbo and Tommy talk for long and Tommy tells Tubbo the fallout of his death and Tubbo tells Tommy what happened from his perspective.

But here’s the funny thing, because I don’t know what you think, but… ghosts aren’t actually bound to places! They’re spirits they can go wherever they please! So Tubbo decided to stick around to Tommy. And as they travel and reach Pogtopia, they find out, Wilbur or Techno don’t see Tubbo. From a brief moment, where Tommy was sleeping and Tubbo broke away and went to see Manburg after the festival on his own eyes, he meets Schlatt and as he stops his breathing (he doesn’t need it, he’s dead, he just does it for comfort or out of habit), he’s scared, he think he’s noticed and waits for insults or a surprise or a sorry or a laugh, he feels something phase through him. Schlatt didn’t see him. Schlatt can’t see him.

After a number of tests Tommy and Tubbo settle it. The leader can’t see the spirit.

Niki can see him, it’s settled pretty much the day after Tommy came back, with a shout of fear and surprise and later happiness.

Quackity can see him as it’s settled, when Tommy meets him in the forest and Quackity aside from being scared shitless by a teenager with netherite armour, he sees a disoriented, glitchy ghost behind the teenager, floating creepily, lighting up the forest around them in a sickly cyan light.

Everyone can see Tubbo, but the people who caused his very death.

AND I’M DONE HERE. I DON’T KNOW WHAT HAPPENS NEXT. I CAN TRY TO THINK OF SOMETHING IF YOU ASK ME, BUT RN AS I’M WRITING THIS DOWN I DON’T KNOW.

A marriage between two beautiful souls and honestly I cried with happiness. I was full of emotions, there is nothing more beautiful than the love these two share. To call this fluff is an massive understatement because words cannot properly capture how gorgeous this fic is.

There’s so much to unpack and the comic genius of balance between crack and plot makes it a heart warming and heart moving movie for the ages (i also loved the book but THE MOVIE IS MY CHILDHOOD LOVE). This is a wonderful rendition of Princess Bride and the end *chef’s kiss* gold.

Mei’s Note: Arrow is a QUEEN at winteriron fic. She has a brilliant way of balancing snark, story, and softness. EVERY SINGLE CHARACTER has their own tone/voice in the story that I hear in my head and it just makes reading her work INCREDIBLY satisfying. She has so many great works, but with the complexity of balancing all these different characters and weave a story around them, this one is my favorite. Or maybe this one was just the one that just happen to snag my heart... :)

Mei’s Notes: Oh man do i love Toni. My whole heart belongs to her and her writing is some of the beST. I cannot recommend her writing enough, please please PLEASE do yourself a favor and read one (all) of her stories. This one is a masterful demonstration of wit and flirting which if you know Toni, you know she’s a master of both. My heart is warm with love for this one.

Mei’s Notes: I died. repeatably. Kitteh is a goddness of soft winteriron. If you look at the comments you can see me SCREAM about the soft. Of course, there’s some really sad subject matter, Tony and Bucky get sent (while theyre warry of each other) to a world that the Avengers lost Battle of New York, and their deaths are... haunting. It really allows Kit to dive into the closeness, the need to someone else to hold. I would say this is a staple fic to read as a winteriron shipper. Of course tho please be weary of tags and your own needs/wants.

Mei’s Notes: OH MAN. This one has adorable baby peter being an adorably perfect little bundle of sunshine. The ultimate melt your eyeballs and heart fic. It is a WIP but OH SO WORTH IT. I don’t really read WIPs can I like closure but this one has the cutest imagery of grown adults melting over a small child. Also Bruce Wayne and Clark Kent!!!!

It’s ironic because the softness I love so much about MCU Tony Stark, i love the a lot of opposites of Toni Stark in this fic. She’s more brash, more ruthless. She is still fiercely protective and kind but there’s an edge that I never felt from MCU Tony Stark. Both are good. I love both. As usual, please read the tags. ok i gotta say it i have been seeing a LOT of BOLD opinions on the tl and i feel like i just have to get this off my chest because it has been bothering me that i feel like i can’t be myself on my own blog...

tons of ppl already know this but suddenly there is this huge deal about it but YES i personally believe there was a romantic relationship between frank and gerard. if you want to unfollow me for that fact alone thats fine theres nothing i can do lol if its that serious to you. i dont talk about it nearly as much as i used to before i remade but if i do i do tag it as ‘frerard’ so that you can blacklist it.

now im gonna go under the cut to explain my side of it, this is NOT proof of any kind or me trying to convince you its just me defending myself in light of some of the opinions i’ve seen recently

so to start i will say that i have been in this fandom for a long time. i lived through a lot of it and i made conclusions on what i saw. believing that there was a romantic relationship between them was pretty much standard for a really long time which is why im so confused now as to what happened in the few months between me losing my blog with 19k followers where i talked about frerard and no one cared to now where i see people being really aggressive over it...anyway

so like yea i grew up with it. its just a part of the mcr story to me. most of my friends that i follow tours with that have been long time fans feel the same. we’re respectful about it entirely, would never say anything to them god forbid or like i wont even mention it on twitter where someone liek frank could stumble upon it.

now for the misconceptions. i know one of the number ones is that its like a straight girl fantasy. i personally am trans masc and gay so that one is out the window. i think my identity has something to do with it bc i see tenderness between two men and im like wish that were me babey! but also “fantasy” is a terrible word for it because in my opinion of what happened between them its not...a happy story entirely. and i dont think theres anything like that between them now, i KNOW theyre in love with their wives entirely, i just think there is more to the story between them.

i saw a REALLY BOLD...and quite frankly infuriating take that people “ship” frerard inherently think that gay men can’t keep their hands off each other and sexualize them and think that the only reason they could have done the projekt rev stuff is because they couldn’t control themselves....which.....nah. projekt rev stuff is like on the BOTTOM of my list of reasons i believe there was a relationship between them. it was just so insulting to me to see that. i think a lot of the people who are so against it have like no concept of what people like me actually think...

also saw a take that frerard is a sin but thinking something happened between bert and gerard is fine. which is just annoying to me cause...theres plenty of proof for both and i dont think you can demonize something people are doing when you’re doing the same thing yourself that is all i will say!

and lastly: fanfiction. seen a lot of hate for fanfiction. most of you know i love unholyverse. it is just fine literature. i dont see the problem with fanfiction, to me the characters in fanfiction are so far removed from the real people, its just easier to get into a story when you have an idea of the characters already, idk. my thing is that i really don’t read any new fanfic, i read the old ones that i love and have read for years because i love the story.

but also i dont get why people are trying to renounce fanfiction when gerard has quite litrally said he doesnt care. he live tweeted himself reading a milk enema fanfic of people who were basically colleagues of his. there is no high horse for you to be on here lol.

anyway at the end of the day thats kind of my take on it, i just have been so annoyed by some of the takes ive seen recently and its made me afraid to like be myself on my blog. its not something i post about all the time or even every day anymore but it is a part of the mcr story to me so sometimes i will mention it i guess! idk why i felt like i needed to defend myself so much but i did if you read it all this way and still are angry about it feel free to message me and we can chat about it
