when i was younger i'd never played okami, but we DID have okamiden on the DS, and i loved it so much, i played that game to death.

recently i got okami on my switch, and just started playing yesterday. when the village got brought back, and i started walking back down the hill from sakuya's tree? i knew that path. when i got to the fork in the road, i just KNEW i was going to have to go up the other hill and draw the sun. and when i did, and the cutscene happened, and kamiki village came back to life?

it felt like coming home.

Playing okami always fills me with this urge to draw all the fanart... it's such a great game. Almost done with my completion run! Missing just over 10 beads and I can't find the last few animals to feed, even with a guide. But we're getting there!

All colored now, originally just wanted it to be white and red but added some warm and cool gray tones because it felt too empty (+some yellow). Thinking of writing out the opening scrawl on the borders and the ability kanji in the inner ring. What do y’all think?
