Summary:

Today was Kieran's birthday, but it was the last thing that mattered to him. In fact, he vowed it would never matter to him again. Instead, he would focus on things that would keep him strong: his battling, his strategizing, and his crown as the Blueberry Champion. His sister and the Elite Four won't stop asking him random questions, though, and if anyone brings up Juliana any more than they already have since she arrived as an exchange student, he's seriously going to lose it. i love how the pocket watch is not just a symbol for yoo jonghyuk, but for kim dokja as well. yes, he did originally make it with the intention of giving it to yoo jonghyuk, in the hopes that it would help him realize his time was here, in the present, too. but i think when he found it in the hospital bed again it became something of his own, too. a weight to remind him of what this world was, and who was in it.

I look at the silly rat show and am like I get it now, I'm gonna read Shakespeare, Beckett, Dostoyevsky, etc. and analyze the world for funsies, my grades 7-11 English teachers could NEVER.
