be proud of your original characters. it's no easy task to create a character from scratch, to make them believable and real and human. it takes time. it takes dedication. so what if they aren't perfect right away? so what if there are still things you're only now figuring out after time? characters evolve, they go through changes and arcs and stories just like real people do. and it's okay if your character develops over time, you don't need to have it all figured out right away. there are some things that will only ever clear up after writing them for a while, finding their voice, and seeing the way they interact with other characters. but this is your character, your creation, and you deserve to feel proud about it no matter what.

oc headcanons

some headcanons for this oc

What makes Kytta soft? She doesnt have a soft spot for many things but, found family melts her heart a bit. shocks master was like a dad to her and shock never met her family before or after being taken in by the jedi so seeing found family or family-like bonds remind her of that and you might catch a faint smile on her face, its a little sad but also comforting for her. If a job has anything to do with a family, for example the one time Ventrice took a job where the sister was being transported in a box to be married and the brother was trying to get her back, she'd do the same thing as Ventrice and try to make sure they dont get separated. She hates seeing family being torn apart so if it costs her money shock doesnt care.

What is shock like when she's angry? She tries, by nature, to remain more neutral and calm so she'll really try not to be angry, still having all shocks training as a padawan in the past with her at heart. If something makes shock snap you should not be around her. shock wont think too clearly, she'll throw hands, maybe use the force to push people or things out of the way, but shock will try and get out of there and find a spot to be alone and release it so she doesnt do anything she'll regret like hurt someone or reveal her (former) identity. If shock cant go somewhere and she's stuck with people she'll try bottling it all up, wait until she can get out and let it out in a healthy way. Of course, while she's bottling it, there's the chance something will aggravate her and shock cant bottle it, so shock will explode and snap at someone. She has a lot of patience, but if she's angry, her patience eventually runs far too thin. Some things might annoy shock but it can be hard to actually make her angry on purpose, shock'll respond with some comeback and brush it off. If you make an insult towards something she cares about one too many times, get angry with her and/or push her buttons too much then she'll be angry. With her stubbornness she's prone to start or get involved in arguments which can add to the list of things that might make her angry or make her temper worsen. however when shock is seriously and dangerously angry, she is the definition of seeing red. no thoughts just pure rage, probably a little laugh when shock shouldnt. and its hard to snap her out of it, but shock will calm down after a bit.

What is she like when flustered? She already avoids eye contact whenever shock can, unless she's talking to whoever hired her and shock needs to look more confident or convincing. So shock does that a lot more when shocks flustered and tries not to show the look on her face but her cheeks are definitely turning pink if you manage to fluster her. She will stumble over her words a tad bit when she's caught off guard and will be very defensive, but hold her hand or give her some kind of reassurance and she lets her walls down a little. She's not used to being flustered and she's afraid of getting attached and losing that person so she'll try pushing people away especially if something like this happens, but she's always down for playful banter. If you really want her melting type flustered, take the banter to a more flirty level and then show some affection. she's not one for PDA but small things like holding her hand and giving it a squeeze will make shocks heart flutter. You can have fun with this, fluff is adorable.

Okay actually I have more thoughts about the "for you the world Phil" line and its original context. So.

Even though the line isn't exactly meant as some huge declaration when c!Techno says it, and it wasn't as significant and dramatic as the fandom often makes it out to be, I still think it's incredibly sweet and it still does demonstrate so much of how they care about each other.

Because basically what c!Techno was saying was "y'know what? You yoinking the bookshelves was exasperating and inconvenient, and you're an absolute dork for it, but you're my dork and I would give you the world, so I don't actually mind. (You're my best friend so I'm gonna let you off the hook, because you could never make me mad truly with something like this)" It was him surrendering the argument to c!Phil, which isn't really something c!Techno does.

It's a much more domestic declaration of love than what I'd assumed the line was without knowing the context, but imo it says just as much (if not more) about their dynamic than if it had been some dramatic turning point or finale in the lore.

Because even when their lives aren't on the line and it's silly little squabbles like this one was, they still care about and respect each other so much
