The odd detail about Hera being raised by Tethys and Okeanos (and probably the main reason why the idea never held much appeal to me) is that it supposedly happened while Zeus was fighting Kronos, as Hera herself relates: „... Ocean, the source of the gods, and mother Tethys, who in their house nurtured me well and raised me, after receiving me from Rhea, when far-thundering Zeus set Cronus down beneath the earth and murmuring sea.” (Iliad 14.200 ff)
So not only does this suggest that Hera didn't participate in the Titanomachy at all, but even that she was an actual child at the time which is just… weird and uncomfortable especially since Zeus was presumably an adult.

Sun in Pisces I (18-28 Feb 2024)
The Sun enters Pisces I The Labyrinth in Austin Coppock‘s naming system, on 18 February 2024 at 11:13 pm EST — and exits on 28 February at 9:44 pm EST. During this time, Aquarius and Pisces will be crowded with almost all the major players, while Jupiter and Uranus get more intimate in Taurus — a couple in flagrante delicto in the bedroom while the main party takes place elsewhere. It’s a…

What are your Poptropica ocs?
I had to look through my stories just to remind myself XD
Fauna: Half nymph, half satyr from Mythology Island. Her personality is actually similar to Rumpelstiltskin, now that I'm thinking about it!
Willie the Steamboat: A talking cartoon steamboat from Rubber Hose Island. (At the end of The Parent Trapped he gains the ability to turn into a submarine and back)
Merboy: No, that's not his actual name XD The humans just call him that (the way Bambi called the skunk Flower). He comes from the Merpeople world. He likes to turn humans into Merpeople.
Kronos: The evil little baby pulling all (well, most) of the strings. Is the embodiment of Time and the Nexus.
Terra Strail: Terra Strail is actually this lady. I just gave her a name. I also made her take the identity as the Crystal Crusader.
Crystal: An Ice Giant that Terra Strail befriended on Ice Giant Island.
Okeanos: Kronos' older brother, and one of the few Titans who didn't participate in the Titanomachy. Back in the day he tried to keep the islands separated, since it would help prevent Kronos from finding a way to escape.
Dark Astro-Knight: An Astro-Knight from a different timestream whose island was sent to the Void. They are actually this costume, I just added a character and convoluted backstory to it XD
Myson, Olivia, and Jordan: Gender-bend Terrible Trio basically :)
Rhea: Kronos' honey. She saved Zeus from being eaten by him! She is trapped in Tartarus with the other Titans, but can appear to humans in a spirit form: a lioness.

"Scattered hints in the fourteenth book of the Iliad and the evidence of later authors allow us to reconstruct the broad outlines of this genealogy with some plausibility. Oceanus and Tethys give birth to Ouranos and Gaea, who in turn give birth to the Titans, and two of the Titans give birth to the Kronides, according to the theogonic plan most current in Greece. But Ouranos and Gaea were not the only children of the ancestral couple; they also produced springs and rivers, all the waters which irrigate the Earth, as well as those which circulate in the underworld; among the Oceanids are Europa and Asia; there are also divinities of wealth or abundance and, according to certain traditions, goddesses who influence destinies. Several texts concerning the location of Oceanus in the completed world suggest another view of the cosmogonic event. Sky and Earth came from the primordial waters; water therefore exists outside the newly formed universe, surrounding it and forming its boundary'. Despite this distance, Oceanus feeds all the springs and rivers through subterranean routes; the rivers flow into the sea, whose waves finally rejoin his own. With the vast expanses of water, he therefore produces the very regions they define—he is truly the father of the continents.
The remoteness of Oceanus and Tethys is signified by the flowing image just described. Oceanus rolls his tumultuous waves to the ends of the earth and the limit of nothingness. His course is circular, so that his waters constantly pass over the same bed. A particular place does exist, however, where the oceanic waters undergo a transition between their point of arrival and the point at which they take on a new spirit. Several texts call this mysterious region "the springs of Oceanus" and situate it in the east, where the sun rises. The same remoteness is evoked in other language. Oceanus and Tethys are a very old couple; they live at the ends of the earth, in a distant palace where their ardor has cooled; they have long since ceased to couple; their generative role is finished. We must note that Oceanus thus keeps himself apart from the great conflicts which pit the gods against one another; he does not participate in the overthrow of Ouranos or in the war of the Olympians against the Titans, though several of his daughters do take Zeus's side, perhaps on his advice. The same being from whom all things take their existence thus also constitutes their limit; the universe is not plunged into pure nothingness; it bathes, so to speak, in its own principle. This original principle developed all its potentialities in the production of the world; however, though it may no longer exercise the same cosmogonic function it once had, it retains its ancient virtues, indispensable to the life of the cosmos.
At the ends of the world, the oceanic waters have a cathartic and regenerative power. With the exception of the Great Bear, forbidden as a punishment, the sun and all the stars dive into these waters at their setting; later they reemerge (the sun after purifying itself at the eastern springs), endowed with new vigor and sparkle. Two marvelous islands bathe in these waters. One is inhabited by the blessed who escape ordinary death; they are constantly given life by the ocean breezes. On the other island is the nuptial chamber of Zeus and Hera, closely connected with the source of ambrosia. The divine marriage is an act of fecundity, and ambrosia, which comes from a spring on this oceanic island, regenerates to the point of bestowing immortality itself. By the springs that he feeds, and by the rivers, his sons, the waters of Oceanus penetrate to the interior of the lands that they water and fertilize; they make life there possible. They are also responsible for abundance; the ancestral god is clearly the father of the gift-givers Eurynome, Polydora, and Eudora, as well as the father of the rich Pluto.
Finally, beneath the earth, the tenth part of his waters flows into the river Styx, the most prestigious of his children. The waves of the Styx retain their oceanic qualities more than any other river. Their regenerative powers are such that Thetis immerses Achilles in them to make him immortal; they exert an effect similar to that of ambrosia. In addition they are the instrument of the greatest oaths sworn by the gods. In invoking Styx to witness their commitments, the gods stake the bond that unites them to the original principle from which they draw their existence and vitality. If he breaks this bond, the lying god no longer receives ambrosia; he remains inert for nine years; separated from his source, he is deprived of the vigor which makes possible his very divinity."

Sun in Pisces I - Okeanos
Okeanos, trickster lord of deep ocean, rules the next ten days starting at 5;35 pm EST on 18 Feb 2023. Called the Labyrinth, it's about finding your way. Are you looking for the path to the center? Or the door marked egress? #astrology #PiscesI #Okeanos
The Sun enters Pisces I, The Labyrinth as Austin Coppock named it, on February 18, 2023 at 5:35 pm, at the moment of the Moon’s monthly conjunction with Mercury — this time around in Aquarius under Saturn’s ungentle auspices and presidency, at a time of the waning moon. Austin Coppock named this decan the Labyrinth for its twisting and winding ways, which lure us toward a perceived center or…

(@askstormscall) Susano @ Nate and Crew: Watching the dragons battle, the old Legend felt an itch. It had been a long time since the Lugia had the urge to fight. There was a look towards the Rayquaza, Queztal overhead. They had no intentions of battling full out, this island wouldn't be able to handle it. Maybe just a taste of it. There was a slight smile as the Lugia spoke addressing the human. "I wish to battle. I will not go overboard but perhaps they would not mind testing their mettle against the likes of me." A grin, a show of teeth as the Lugia spread their wings.
