However, when one of the woodworkers at the business gets injured, the family company is short on help. Jongin's father doubts his son's abilities, but begrudgingly assigns him the tasks of keeping things in order at the business. Cue Jongin meeting the top woodworker, Do Kyungsoo. Kyungsoo is nothing like him. Kyungsoo doesn't have a personal chef, he isn't rich, his family doesn't come from money and, most importantly, Kyungsoo actually has talent. Jongin doesn't see how Kyungsoo does it, but every day spent with the artist brings Jongin down a notch and makes the male realize that he is capable of more then he thinks. Maybe he could make something of himself after all.

Genre: Failed marriage, Slight angst, Romance, Secret relationship Length: 10.9k Rating: Mature Summary: Jongin is a university professor whose 10 years marriage is on the verge of collapsing. He hasn't shared bed with his wife for 6 years or more, therefore when a student, Kyungsoo, makes an advance on him he relents. It's supposed to be only one night stand, a mistake Jongin shouldn't repeat because even though he doesn't love his wife anymore, he still wants to respect her & their marriage, yet Jongin keeps coming back to Kyungsoo who's willingly to open his legs for him. Both end up falling in love with each other.

At one point Kyungsoo begs Jongin to always keep him, saying he wouldn't mind to be forever his "mistress" which is something that's quite impossible, he'll leave eventually, according to his best friend who found out about their affair. Jongin is in dilemma, unsure which one he should choose his marriage or Kyungsoo.

Kyungsoo didn't bother to correct them yet it spread enough to reach the most dangerous gangs's ears.

Jongin, blind and paralyzed, constantly belittles everything Kyungsoo does but Kyungsoo just takes it all in for he knew that pain can make monsters out of the best people. So Kyungsoo vowed. He promised himself that he will help Jongin go back to the best version of himself. Even if it would mean that Kyungsoo had to burn and fade out just to reignite the fire within Jongin.
