I love making older buildings, and I’ve already made a one room schoolhouse but unfortunately you need 2 rooms in order to have a functioning high school :( So I tried my best to create a school that resembles an old schoolhouse and I’m quite happy with how it turned out. There’s the essentials, but also a soccer field, chess tables, a telescope, and typewriters (i.e. computers) for your teens to use while not in class, along with an outside eating area (since there weren’t cafeterias in older schools 😅
Lot Info:
Placed on the “Copperdale High School” lot in Copperdale
Lot Type: High School
Lot Traits: Great Soil, Peace and Quiet, Good Schools (Wild Foxes)
Lot Size: 64 x 64

No CC
You can also find it on the gallery under ID: spookcy

This cute 1912 one room schoolhouse in St. John’s, Michigan is the chicest conversion I’ve ever seen. It’s for sale for $249,200.

The stripped it down to the original tin ceiling and painted it black, refinished the original wood floors, and exposed the brick.

Check out the wallpaper.

Houston, BC (No. 6)
Houston is known as the world’s Steelhead capital of the world, and is proud to be the home to Canada’s largest fl y rod which is located in our award-winning Steelhead Park located on Highway 16. It is also home to the Houston’s Visitor Centre. The park is a perfect setting for a leisurely stroll or picnic and includes the lovely Steelhead fountain and our majestic, giant “Phantom Grizzly bear” weighing 975 pounds (visible 24/7 at the visitor centre), and our local museum’s “Walk through History”.

More little Crossbell things (and more CS roasting):
- The way sidequests actually feel optional and are integrated naturally with the story and not “here is the designated time to do side quests”
(though I think Ch 4 of CSIII did it pretty well during the summer festival segment)

Mill Run/Hendricks, WV c.1900 **Not my pics**
From the listing: Former schoolhouse. No plumbing or bathroom in the building.
Mill Run, now considered a ghost town, had a smattering of families until about the 1920s. Brights Chapel and cemetery is just a two-minute drive up the road, and it is likely that many of those buried there attended this school. The Bright and Carr families had a big presence. The first Bright (Thomas) was compelled to come to America after he was released from prison in England in 1772. At that time, having a sentence that required transportation to America was considered a fate worse than death. The Brights settled in Mill Run, however, and raised a large family. Descendants of Thomas Bright, John Add and Mary Ann Teter Bright raised six children who more than likely were some of the students who attended the Mill Run school.

This is too cute. It's a little converted former 1 room schoolhouse built in 1806 and owned by an artist in Hancock, Vermont. It has 2bd 1ba and is only $299K.

I must say that this is a very roomy place - look at the size of the kitchen/living area. Love the beams, too.
Tumblr media
This looks like a little mud room.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The main bd is very roomy and open.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The bathroom is large and divided into 2 separate rooms.
Tumblr media
Isn't this the cutest?
Tumblr media
Look at the nice big porch.
Tumblr media
Little storage area on the side of the house.
Tumblr media
There's almost 1/2 acre of land surrounding this sweet little house.
