A/N: i changed up the request a little and added Jenni watching on tv and in real life. I hope you like it
Being a gymnast was amazing you got to do the sport you love whilst it takes you all over the world getting to experience cultures and countries you would’ve never been able to experience otherwise. The only downside to it all, it took you away from the love of your life. World Cup, champions league and liga f winner Jenni Hermoso.
She meant the world to you, always supporting everything you did no matter where you both were in the world. She didn’t care whether you were 10 minutes away or on the other side of the world she would always be your number one fan no matter what.
Sitting at home in Mexico watching you qualify for the olympics was one of the proudest moments of Jenni’s life, she swears she feels as proud as she did the day she lifted that World Cup trophy. She was so nervous for you whenever it was your turn to compete on the apparatus, she was most nervous for your floor routine as she knows it was your least favourite event and you tend to get into your head before you go out. “vamos nena, tienes esto” she whispers at the tv just as you step out onto the floor.
The relief she felt when you executed your routine almost perfectly getting a 9.3 and simultaneously due to your scores on other apparatus qualifying for the Olympics.
When Spain won the nations league her first thought was that you were going to the Olympics together for the first time and she couldn’t be happier. She spotted you in the crowd after the final whistle blew and she ran straight over to you. “I’m so proud of you mi Vida, you played incredibly” you whispered in her ear as she embraced you in a hug. She pulled back slightly and brought you into a searing kiss over the barrier, you let out a slight squeal as her strong, tattooed arms lifted you over the barrier and onto the pitch so you could celebrate with her and the rest of her teammates. “I’m gonna go say thank you to the fans and sign some things so you can go say hi to the girls is you want amor” the tall brunette let you know as you nodded in reply.
Spotting Alexia you jog over to her to congratulate her for making such an incredible comeback after her injury and accomplishing so much. After congratulating all the girls Jenni returned and led you into the locker room so she could shower and change and then you could go back to the hotel to celebrate.
Seeing the Olympic village for the first time was an experience you never thought you could have let alone getting to do it with the love of your life. Knowing that Jenni was going to have this exact same experience with her national team mates later on in the day was just so surreal. The day of the gymnastics arrived at you were so nervous it was your first Olympics and you wanted to do everyone proud, you knew Jenni was going to be watching along with some of her team. With that in mind along with the fact this was the biggest competition you have ever done in your career you wanted to leave everything you had out there and prove everyone who said you could never do it or were never good enough wrong.
You had just won bronze in your first ever Olympics, you never once thought that you were going to get a medal this year. As soon as the podium ceremony was over you ran straight over to Jenni and jumped in to her arms “Estoy muy orgulloso de ti amor, sabía que podías hacerlo” she told you as she placed kisses all over your face. You blushed and hid your face in her neck as she boasted about how amazing her girl was to all her friends. Lifting your head slightly so you were in line with her ear “I did it for you my love, everything I do is for you. You best go and get gold for me tomorrow” you whispered in her ear as the gold medal match against Sweden was the following day. She nodded to let you know she heard and would do everything she could to win that match for you, for her country and for all the people who have stood by her after everything that has happened.

What about that time Australia hired a furry artist for the Olympics. Still better art than the ACT centennial hot air balloon.
2021: The Royal Australian Mint puts out a call for artists to submit portfolios of "Japanese style" cartoons, in preparation for a commemorative series of coins and artworks to be released for the Tokyo Olympics.
The campaign would have a cross promotional tie-in with Australia's largest supermarket, Woolworths where 24 million collectables themed on the artworks would be given away.
It wasn't until the final artist was selected that they realised the people at the Royal Australian Mint had somehow mistaken the anthropomorphised animal-humans that seemed popular on the internet for a popular children's cartoon franchise.
“They knew exactly what they wanted," explained the artist, "we worked together to make sure they got what they envisioned, I tailored what I made to their examples/feedback. They just didn’t know there was a word for it, basically, or that it was SO popular.”
Needless to say, when the artworks were released online people immediately called a spade a spade, headlines were made around the world, and the furry community expressed bemused joy that the Australian government had apparently just released an official fursona.
Unfortunately for those innocent soles that had planned the campaign, given they had just minted $24 million worth of furry coins they couldn't exactly scrap the whole thing, and they were forced to just push ahead while doing their best to ignore the large community of internet oddballs salivating at their every move.
Anyway, here's some of the art:
Here's some of the collectable cards given out free to kids by Woolworths:

A 52-year-old German athlete requested Palestinian citizenship to participate in the Olympic Games under the banner of Palestine in a show of support to the justice of the Palestinian cause.

He represented Palestine at the 2014 World Equestrian Games in Normandy where he finished 68th in the individual dressage competition with Cinco de Mayo.
