Palm Kisser (affectionate)

Simeon made it seem like a simple task to love you so much, and devote himself to you and only you. He hardly ever shied away from your affections, instead openly adjusting and welcoming them in split seconds. He did partake in creating his own way of showing his love for you as well, though, not only with words but also his actions.

The man is truly an angel. A darling of a partner, always able to make his love for you significantly known. Then again, it wouldn't be hard to miss his love-filled stare with him right in front of you, crouched down on one knee and bowing his head to place a delicate kiss on the back of your hand. His eyes pierce you as he looks up at you, both of his hands holding yours while your other rests on his head, in his hair. He continues giving kiss after kiss to your hand. One may think of the look in his eyes as lustful, but it is of pure devotion, unspoken promises, and praise.

He turned your hand over, placing a soft kiss on the palm of your hand, his eyes never leaving yours as he did. A beat of silence follows before his eyes trail down your arm and he lets out a quiet sigh. His eyelids fluttered closed briefly before flickering back open and darting to you again.

"Are you alright, Simeon?" Your voice fills the empty room with a quiet sense of sincerity.

"Hmm?" His gaze never left yours as he gave a quiet hum. He tilts his head ever so slightly as if he didn't hear you, nudging your hand against his face during the process before giving an answer. "I would say I'm quite alright." He responds with that boyish smile of his. At times it's easy to forget just how long your lover has truly lived for, but he's so young-spirited that you can't even tell. And quite frankly, you couldn't care either.

"Just checking." You whisper as your gaze matches his in showing affection for one another. A smile graces your face. As your lips turn up in a smile, so does Simeon's.

"I don't know how I could not be alright when I have someone like you standing in front of me, and loving me as well." He lets out a breathy chuckle. His eyes leave yours to look at your hand in his. Only thinking for a split second, he closes his eyes as he kisses your palm yet again. The sensation sends butterflies loose in your stomach as a faint blush coats your cheeks at your lover's display of affection.

"Oh please, Simeon you're-" You let out a quiet chuckle of your own looking away and ignoring the warmth dusting your face and the light feeling in your stomach.

"Oh, I'm what?" He's looking back up at you again. Half-lidded eyes searching yours, a small love-sick smile adorning his features. His hand trails up, gently holding your wrist, he leans forward and- without his eyes leaving yours, he places a kiss to your wrist. He moves back, his hand still holding onto you as he patiently waits for your reply.

Feeling light shivers crawl up your spine, you stiffen your back for a brief moment. "You're making me flustered..." Your expression matches his, a love-sick grin on your face.

"Would you like me to stop?" He looks at you, gauging your reaction. If you wanted him to stop then he would. But the look he was giving you made you think he already knew your answer.

You let out a sigh through your nose, exhaling slowly. "No... Not really." You wore a mock guilty look, he wouldn't shame you for anything and you knew that. That's why you can be so honest and calm around him. He doesn't mind, all he cares about is making you happy.

"Well then," He stood up from his position, his hand never leaving yours. Raising his free hand, he grazes your face, holding you gently as his thumb slowly moves across your skin. He's close, his lips almost touching yours. Never once did he break eye contact. "just let me know when to stop." He spoke with a kind smile, resting his forehead against yours.

Then, he kissed you. And he took his time doing so.

Why side characters are boyfriend material?

Diavolo

Lord Diavolo is great for building a reliable relationship. He is one of those types who are always ready to listen to his partner and become better for himself and his lover.

He has a childish interest in everything, so you will never get bored with Diavolo. He often comes up with unusual ideas with which he is ready to occupy your time with him. Most of your dates were organized by Diavolo, he takes your meetings very seriously, thinking in advance about what you will do. For this reason, all your dates are perfect from start to finish.

Sometimes it may seem to you that the future king of the Devildom is a child in an adult body, but I hasten to refute this idea, because despite his frequent infantilism, he is always responsible at the right moments. So you can always rely on him.

In general, there is always a balance in a relationship with him. He is courteous and cheerful, passionate and soft, deep, but at the same time simple.

Barbatos

Barbatos does not need to be directed anywhere in the relationship, he himself will cope with it perfectly. Perhaps you will be able to have a helpful relationships with him, because his language of love is caring.

With him, you easily forget about the mini tasks that you had to do. He can take half of your worries to make life easier for you. Do not forget to also take care of him, because he is very pleased when you respond with the same gestures.

He is the greenest flag in the whole wide world. The relationship with him is perfect because he is very understanding and sensitive to your and his needs.

He read a lot of books, including romantic ones. As a model of behavior in a relationship, he took an example from the charming main characters, adding something of his own. He has been dedicating poems to you, in which he confessed his strong love to you every time.

If somehow, you felt offended by him, then he always solved the problem by discussing his mistakes. He never let you get away from him in an offended and sad state until he gets to the bottom of the problem and makes you happy again.

Simeon's strong shoulder lets you know of his boundless support. Do not be afraid to seem weak, Simeon will be happy to help you in any way he can, he will protect you.

Solomon

A relationship with him will always lead you to something new. This is the most striking feature of Solomon, which you need to get used to as soon as possible. He is a free man who loves to make choices that will give him something he did not know before.

As his mate, at the beginning it might seem to you that Solomon absolutely does not need anyone, he will find company for himself, cheer himself up, he will spend his immortal life without focusing on anyone. He doesn't depend on anyone. This is partly true, but still Solomon let you know that you are an important person in his life and he will not let you leave him so easily. Solomon will always be around, hanging around somewhere with you.

Solomon is the one who brings change with him. It's hard to find stability with him, because he loves chaos and unpredictability. Being with him for some time, you begin to understand that you yourself are gradually beginning to change, to get used to the character of Solomon. The relationship with him is like an adventure on a raging sea, which directs both of you in an unclear direction, where you eventually find your happiness. He is free as a cat who does not tolerate any kind of management in his side, but he will be happy to give you the opportunity to be his equal companion.

Barbatos keeps his tail on you like a leash.

Your hand, wrist, waist, a loop on your clothing. One of the split tendrils slips around it and tugs you just a tad closer.

When his tail is obscured, ie human world fit, he likes to fix your clothes and posture. Now if you’re like me who is so fag boy from the cemetery crossed with starving artist core, being messy is part of my charm!! Barbatos won’t kill your vibe, he just makes it more… tastefully messy.

Thirteen bites. (And kisses, but mostly bites.)

Enamored with the thought of Thirteen pressing kisses to the tips of your fingers and the palm of your hand. Her lips are so soft, she keeps a chapstick on her always, and she’s so gentle with you.

And after she presses butterfly kisses to each of your finger pads, she nips you gently. She has longer canines than the average human and she uses them to press down enough to send a shock to your heart and keep your attention on her.

Ugh and when one of the brothers or other characters are trying to take you away, she’ll just nip your wrist to keep you focused on her.

Raphael holds your wrist.

He keeps you close and guides you through the dreary Devildom streets. He isn’t terribly physically affectionate, but he keeps you close this way.

I really thought I wouldn't have time to do all the other characters today, but the stars have aligned and gave me some unexpected extra hours! So I went ahead and did everybody, including of course our man Mephisto! I also did my OC Arsenios because I was curious about what his reaction would be lol.

Part One

Diavolo

Absolutely thrilled, of course. Tell him everything you know about conversation hearts, even if it's just that they exist and are sold every year. Watch his eyes get all shiny as he looks at them because he thinks they're so adorable.

He will eat them, but he will read every single one in the box out loud to you first. And he'll want you to eat them with him, so he's going to deliberately give you the ones that he would actually like to say to you. This means you end up eating most of them because he can't help himself.

Give him the one that says MY HERO and watch him blush. He tries to keep his cool, but you can see how much it means to him. He's happy you gave him these, MC. Thank you for sharing a piece of your world with him.

Now you're the one blushing. Diavolo gives you his signature laugh and pulls you into his arms. Gives you the last one that just says KISS before doing exactly that.

Barbatos

He's surprised, but quite happy because it turns out he actually made his own version to give to you. He thought you might like a little piece of home, but he never expected you to share that same thing with him. He's touched that you thought of him, MC.

He is aware of them because of his tendency to learn about human world desserts and candies. The ones he made for you are beyond delicious. You insist he share them with you because they taste better than the normal chalk version. Barbatos is happy to, but he finds the regular human world variety quite charming as well.

His hearts have a lot of the usual cute sayings, but a couple of them have more elaborate decorations such as a little bouquet of flowers or an elegant lace pattern. You can't help but blush when you find one that just says your name.

He finds the same message in both sets of hearts and gives them to you. They say BE MINE. Give him one back that says I'M YOURS and all the sweet candies are forgotten because he needs you in his arms that very second.

Simeon

Oh these are incredibly cute. He's so happy that you've given him some! If the box happens to have any texting acronyms, though, he will be baffled. Holds one up for you that says TTYL with a question in his eyes. Explain to him what they all mean and that it's only something they include because they're short enough to fit on the hearts.

Simeon finds them delightful. He'll be especially pleased if you give him an extra box for Luke. He thinks Luke would love to decorate a cake with some of these!

But he has to admit that the messages are a little too short to truly encompass how he feels about you. He shifts some of them around to from little sentences, eventually landing on REAL LOVE, PEACE, FOREVER. Do you understand what he's trying to say, MC?

Maybe you form your own sentence in hopes that he'll see you do understand. Something like ONLY YOU, ANGEL. Watch him blush and smile. Then he's kissing you and it's far sweeter than anything a conversation heart has to offer.

Solomon

Of course he's already familiar with this particular item from your shared human experience. He was probably alive when they first came on the scene and he might tell you about it if you prod him enough. He might not have been paying much attention, though, so likely his memory on this just that they showed up at some point.

He's really quite happy that you gave him some. His instinct is to wow you by using magic to alter them. He turns them different colors and changes the words on them. He makes one spell out a whole Shakespeare sonnet one or two words at a time.

You can't help but laugh at that, but you tell him it's cheating. If he really wants to let you know how he feels, he has to use what's already in the box. He accepts your challenge. Have you forgotten who you're dealing with, MC?

Surprises you by not giving you a whole stack of them. He only hands you a single heart. It says, boldly and clearly, I LOVE YOU. He's smiling his mischievous smile, but there's a slight blush there, too. Your answer is a kiss.

Mephistopheles

At first he's somewhat confused. Why are you giving him a box full of chalk, MC? He's not exactly familiar with human world stuff, so he doesn't realize it's candy at first. Explain it to him and he's surprisingly appreciative. He wasn't expecting you to think of him.

Really knock his socks off by giving him a few extra boxes for his little brother. The fact that you remembered he has one really makes him soft. It also gives him the opportunity to ask about your own family. He wants to know about them, if you want to talk about them.

Now you're having a whole conversation that goes far beyond the hearts, but you're both enjoying them together. He might not even like them all that much, but he seems to be content to eat them with you.

Deliberately give him one that says FIRST KISS and watch him get flustered. Acts like it wasn't an invitation on your part, so you'll have to be a little more blatant if you actually want him to kiss you. Eventually he gets the message and it turns out he's wanted to kiss you all along. You can tell by how hungry his lips are and the way he wraps his arms so tightly around you.

Raphael

Surprises you by actually knowing about them. Seems confused by your surprise. Surely you've heard about Michael's preference for sweet things. That extends to human world items like this, too. He doesn't really get the appeal, but he is happy that you thought of him.

He actually likes the brevity of the messages. They're short and efficient, communicating a single sentiment quickly and clearly. Nobody could misinterpret something that says CALL ME. That's pretty straightforward, don't you think, MC?

This argument is all well and good until you give him one that says XOXO. He has no idea what that means. Perhaps it's in a human world language he's not familiar with? He takes back everything he said about clear communication.

Once you explain what they mean, he gets a little flustered. Hugs and kisses? Why not just say that? Distract him by pulling him in for a simultaneous hug and kiss. He's blushing for real now. He understands the essence of XOXO a little better, but he wouldn't mind if you showed him again.

Thirteen

Wow, humans do some really adorable things, don't they? Look at these tiny hearts with cheesy words on them! They look like chalk, but she finds them endearing. And of course she's trying to hide how pleased she is that you gave her something. It's really cute of you.

She's already coming up with ways to use them for traps. Put a spell on one and leave it somewhere an immortal sorcerer just might happen to find it. She might do it, too, if you don't distract her a bit.

Find one that says MY GIRL to give to her. She smiles and blushes just a little, but leans in to ask if you think she belongs to you. Maybe you tell her that you'd like that. A direct response such as that flusters her and now she's not sure how to react.

Searches through the hearts, but she can't seem to find one that says what she wants, so she just shoves the first one she picks up toward you. It says LOL. You actually do laugh because it's pretty cute how flustered she is. She decides to clear things up by kissing you. You get a little dizzy at how quickly she goes from shy to bold. It's some time before she lets you go.

Arsenios

The minute you put the box in his hand, he's fighting down a blush because wow, you are really cute, MC. A sweet little human like you actually taking the time to give him these candies stamped with lovey phrases really surprises him.

He takes them all out of the box and lines them up in the way that makes the most sense. You're a little confused about why he's doing it until he takes out his guitar. A few chords later and he's singing you a song using every phrase from the box. You're both laughing pretty quickly because the words are mostly nonsense.

But Arsenios deliberately left the best group for last and his voice becomes sweet when he sings you the final line. ONLY YOU, MY LOVE, BE TRUE. It's still only a fragment of a sentence at best, but the sentiment rings through the notes and you can see it in his eyes.

He smiles at you as the notes fade away because he's pleased at your reaction. But it isn't enough, so he takes your hands and asks if he can kiss you. If you say yes, you'll find yourself so distracted in his embrace that you don't notice that he never actually ate any of the candy hearts.

Obey Me! Dating Headcanons (SFW)

NOTE: These are just my personal headcanons for the side datables I’ve had for the 3 years I’ve been playing this game and what I think I think would fit them, if some of the headcanons are may be very OOC - apologies in advance.

𝙎𝙐𝙈𝙈𝘼𝙍𝙔 !!: What it’s like dating the side datables + love languages NOT PROOF READ - APOLOGIES IF THERE’S TYPOS OR SPELLING ERRORS!!!

𝓓𝓲𝓪𝓿𝓸𝓵𝓸

Love Language? Quality Time and Physical Touch [and maybe Gift giving.]

Tries to spend time with you despite his extremely busy schedule - even if it means just a small greeting when he sees you walking in the halls of RAD or in the streets of the Devildom.

Small interactions as basic as glimpses when you two pass each other or a wave mean so much to him.

Tries his best to keep you out of the public eye, he's a noble figure in the Devildom being the future king and all - Diavolo doesn't want you getting caught up in gossip or any danger

I would feel like he would sneak out of his castle when he fully knows he has a mountain of paperwork waiting in his study office or even royal duties to attend to.

The scolding from Barbatos is all worth if it was to spend just a couple minutes with you

But... not after a bit of running away and avoiding Barbatos, this is where the Physical touch comes on.

He loves the thrill of a good chase, especially with you.

Once Barbatos spots the two of you, Dia would grab your hand and start running no matter where you are.

It can be in the middle of town, the grounds of RAD, or the halls of the House of Lamentation - he's running with your hand in his, laughing and smiling from the adrenaline.

Hiding with you against walls or in cramp spaces - having you pressed against his body and holding you close to him as he peered around corners or trying to stay hidden from Barbatos.

Oh no, Barbatos caught you and now is dragging Dia back to the castle to do the mountain of paper work and/or his royal duties.

As he's getting dragged away he's looking over his shoulder at you as he smiles and waves.

Hell, man has a small smile on his face as he hangs his head down while Barbatos has him kneeling as he got scolded, just happy to have your touch and memories of being together even if it's such a short amount of time.

When he does get time off and free time in his extremely busy schedule - that's when he pull out the little notebook he keeps of date ideas he wants to do with you.

The dates go one of two ways; over the top or simple.

Over the top dates? Oh he buys out whole fancy restaurants, guards around you two 24/7 [at a distance], carnival dates, reserves stores out for just you two to go shopping and he will pay for everything [even if you try to convince him not to], takes you to exclusive venues in the Devildom for all your favourite things and interests.

Simple dates? Picnics, Tea in the castle's garden, long walks around the castle grounds.

You want to go even simpler? okay. He loves it when you're just around him. Stay with him during those late nights in his study office when he's working away, just your company is enough for him to be at ease and maybe he'll let you sit on his lap as he works.

When he can make time with you he'll text you, video calling you at night when he's working or when he's about to go to bed so you two can talk about whatever till one of you fall asleep on the call.

If you fall asleep on the call, Dia would say on the call, admiring you peacefulness when you sleep, wishing you were there beside him in his bed.

Calls you 'sweetheart' or 'my crowned one' or 'little royal'

Fav. places to kiss? Top of your head and hands

Mans so busy being Diavolo’s butler so spending time with you is an absolute delight for him.

If he sees you at the corner of his eye when he's by Diavolo's side [like he always is], Barbs would look over at you longingly.

If you meet his gaze, trust me - he would give you a soft smile and a settle ways, his cheeks turning red.

When he has a light work day, he'll most likely invite you to the castle to spend time with him while he works, often apologizing that he doesn't spend enough time with you.

If you offer to help him with any of his duties, he will turn you down time after time

But with enough pressure, Barbatos will allow it just let him do the heavy lifting.

Scratch that, he WILL do like 99.9% of the job while he lets you like... hold a feather duster or sort out the mail.

Once done all his tasks for the day, he'll prepare you snacks and something to drink for all you hard work.

Would use this down time he has to catch up with you over snacks and drinks in the Demon Lord's Garden.

When he get a day off, oh he dedicates his day off all to you.

He'll go one walks with you as the two of chat.

Dates consist of going to tea shops, bakeries, picnics - or just anything you want to do for the day, he'll happily follow you around.

just being around you and seeing you happy makes his day better.

If you're busy on his rare days off, he'll help you.

No, nor only help - He'll do whatever you had to do that day.

Happily will prepare snacks for you - even if it's just tea or something to drink.

He's used to serving Diavolo, so let him spoil you with his services - He'll be your bulter boyfriend.
