"You poor soul... you've lost so much."

"You don't know anything about me, I-"

"I know you better than anymore~ You even said you trusted me, right?"

Your words were hypnotizing. All it takes is the right words and his ego goes down crumbling. He does regret those words but you... you were like his lifeline and the words you say would fuel him, keeping him wanting more and more. You knew how vulnerable he was, and you certainly took advantage of that.

He was defenseless against your innocence. Maybe this poor, lost puppy just needed a push over the edge of sanity.

“You’ve abandoned so many people, but in turn so many abandoned you.” You cooed, voice barely above a whisper. “Oh but I won’t abandon you, won’t I? I’m not like your past partner, you killed the poor man.”

His lips quivered at your cold touch, and the rain that fell wasn’t helping. His obsession was slowly driving him insane and you knew it so well. It was like a drug, and the first time he saw you, his new partner, he was purely addicted. He was a desperate puppy, chasing after a reward that was never thrown. You had broken him down so much, in the end he was reliant on you and only you.

“You’re mine, all mine, M/n… Don’t leave me, please don’t.” His heart ached, and so did yours, but all for the darkest reasons. In truth you’ve lost so much, of course you wouldn’t. You’d make sure he wouldn’t ever be able to leave.

“Oh dear, I don’t think you’d even survive without my help, of course I wouldn’t.” You said with a forced smile, very evident but you don’t think he cares at all.

Your words dearly meant nothing but you couldn’t hold back, not when he was already chasing you! Of course, no matter how much he would push you away, you would keep reminding him that he’s empty without you. It’s just the truth, right?

He felt as if he was going insane, and he knew it was because you were, too. That is, if you aren’t already deranged, which you clearly were from the first day you both met in the boss’s office. Oh, how much he wants to turn back but could never really do it.

Maybe…

Maybe he’ll just go insane with you.
