AAAA i loved that 141 + masked reader one!! omg you're filling my head with mask ideas now...

what if reader had one of those LED masks that showed different facial expressions? just walking around going ":D" ":]" "^-^" "?" ">:(" as a substitute of their real expressions. omfg imagine them coming back from a mission and price is praising them on their work or smth and they just hit him with the "uwu"

I'm glad so many people are liking the prompt, I had a lot of fun with it too!! This is very much giving me Watch Dogs 2 Wrench but also Rina Tennoji omg there are so many legendary masked characters-

The rest of the 141 were confused at first. While the mask provided anonymity, there was also the benefit of hiding facial information to an enemy. But now with these LEDs your emotions could be read like an open book, but ultimately they found it endearing.

Soap in particular loves your mask. Johnny loves surprising you to generate "!"s over the eyes and finds himself smiling every time your mask switches to a new emotion. As demolition expert, he prides himself over the one time he got you so riled up that an error message flashed across your mask. He's also genuinely curious about the mask and will gladly try to help if there are any technical difficulties or if you want a hardware upgrade. He's also the most unnerved out of the 141 if you ever turn the LEDs off, immediately by your side to comfort you as he can no longer read your mood.

Gaz doesn't often provoke you but he does find himself snickering whenever your expressions change from others. It's also an easy way for Kyle to keep track of how you're feeling, even when no one's around your mask automatically goes ";-;" when you're feeling down and he'll check up on you. Whenever he does make a joke though, he's immediately looking to your mask to see if someone will appreciate his humour. He also wishes you turned off your mask more during missions, the little angry face your mask makes isn't intimidating in the slightest and he can't risk getting distracted cooing over you during an op.

Ghost is very curious. Your own mask has him wondering if his own needs a bit of an upgrade - perhaps an LED skull mask with a moving lower jaw. Simon's heart warms up a bit at how you've picked a mask that's still so comically expressive, he enjoys interacting with someone that's so upfront with their emotions. He won't admit it but he finds it cute how your mask goes "-_-" whenever he says one of his horrendous "military humour" jokes. He's considerate of your mask and ensures that there is no water or liquids nearby.

Price's first concern was practicality (how the hell were you going to use night-vision?) but once the mask seems to work without a hitch, he now checks on your mask to not only gauge your mood but as a visual indicator of the overall atmosphere among the rest of the task force. You're now his favourite person to praise. He doesn't give it freely of course, but most of his subordinates will try to hide their smiles as they glow under his praise as they keep up their tough soldier persona. You though? The sudden "! o !" and then consequential "^_^" as you walk away with a hop in your step is probably the sweetest thing he's seen in his entire military career.

It's all fun and games until you turn off the LEDs - usually done in dark/covert missions or when you're interrogating the enemy. That's when you're truly unreadable, a masked terror. As you eliminate enemies in close combat the last thing they will see is their own face contorted into absolute terror as it is faintly reflected like a memory against the bottomless darkness of your visor.

He briefly surveyed the souvenirs through the glass, only for his eyes to flit towards you within seconds, prompting your face to burn, despite the chilly air hitting you, “We're buying it.”

Omar ducking his head was a telltale sign of him wanting to steal a kiss, but rather than feeling his lips on yours, he pecked the cold tip of your nose. Embarrassed by the affectionate display in public, you hid your face in his chest, your giggles vibrating through him.

That didn't stop him from showering you with more, planting kisses after kisses on the top of your head while he rested his free hand on the small of your back.

But like the greedy man he was, he never stopped. Not even when the two of you returned to his cabin.

Your eyes were brimming with tears, glassy to the point where you couldn't pinpoint the nature on the other side of the window beyond silhouettes. Your mind was no better, your brain already in the midst of turning mush in favour of him prodding your cervix.

He cooed at you, akin to a delicate flower if not for the way one of his hands gripped at your ass tightly. Blunt nails leaving marks for him to appreciate in the next sunrise. His other hand lightly held the back of your head, leaving you no choice but to stare back at him in a drunken haze.

Last Twilight Ep 2 Stray Thoughts

Last week, we set the table and met Mhok and Day. Mhok is a mechanic down on his luck because of his legal troubles, who is looking for work to take care of himself and keep his deceased sister's beloved vehicle. Despite his past, he's trying to stay away from trouble. Day is a national level badminton player coping with rapid vision loss, whose family is looking for a caretaker for him. Day was amused by Mhok's attitude when he barged into the interview and suggested they hire him. After initial resistance, Mhok decided to take the job after a second encounter.

Y'all should have been more explicit about the dress code for Mhok, though it is amusing to consider that his style of dress in the house only matters for the family.

8 to 6 six days a week??? WTF

I'm glad Mhok is pleased with his salary because this is basically all he's going to do.

The entire scene of Mhok looking around Day's room is fantastic. It lets the audience learn a little about Day, but we also learned about Mhok because we see what catches his attention. Mhok is so tactile and literally sticks his hand in the fish tank, but touching and rearranging things in a blind person's room is going to cause frustration.

Mhok tossed a cigarette in their yard! That's a good character detail.

I'm with Day. I don't like the smell of cigarettes wafted off someone.

I really like Porjai. I said this last time, but I like how their relationship feels behind them that she can discuss it so casually, even if Mhok doesn't get her lesson.

Aon had so much personality. I am charmed. I love the handshake he has with Day. Whatever Day is working through, I'm glad he has a friend.

Closing the door on Mhok was good comedy.

Unsurprised that Day selected Mhok as a way to make his mom give up on a caretaker.

Ah, the show is continuing to connect the experiences. Mhok's perceived reputation is being presented as similar to Day being considered invalid.

I like day taking Day's expectations as a challenge.

Of course Day needed help and Mhok has to take off his shirt to not smell like smoke. We even go to see him crawl around from behind. Oh, BL, never change, except in the ways I demand of you.

Yes, touch his tiddies so we know they're real.

I wonder how the eye drops help to give him limited improved vision.

Yes, Mhok, make him help you save his fish. We got him out of his room!

Oh, they were having fun, but it seems they haven't disclosed his condition and Night brought friends over.

Curious if they follow up on that terse declaration later for Mhok to give up his eyes. I hope not!

Yeah, that seems about right for Mhok. Also glad this show is doing nonsexual nudity. Anyone required to care for another person is going to have to be engaged with someone beyond what others might consider polite boundaries.

OP! You ain't have to put me in my feels on the significance of Bads presence/absence. It's so scary! But that's why I love and appreciate his qsmp addition and care for the eggs. Let's be real honest. If Bad did not do what he does.. we would have more than four eggs dead and gone. Fight me on that if feeling frogy. Hah.

We literally almost lost Pepito last night. Phil and Bagi resorted to OG methods of finding him,(the map, which is unreliable) they did not know what to do during vital seconds before death. They were stuck. Okay? That's scary. No other parent is really thinking of those things, especially now, new server and busy schedules. Bad mentioned to qphilza that he should set up the pearl chamber for chay and lullah and he kinda brushed it like nah.. its all good. Mmkah sir.

Bold take but I'll say it: Every creator wants or enjoys the EGGs presence but not all are actually willing or able to care for said egg/s. (Still waiting and in hope for the 2 life system to be a thing of the past because it gets stressful.) In real life it take a lot to care for child and its no different on qsmp.

It take the village and when events come up in real life(vacations/conferences etc) it gets scary on the server.

It was awesome for em sunny and pepito to get a bday party and as much i love seeing all the little egg beans bounce around and thrive.. with only three adults? - My mind: PLEASE!! I'm so glad we don't have an active enemy yet..

I could go on but im not going to right now. Pfft. I'll be nice. Watching bads streams of the eggs pov have given a new light.

Portraying Priscilla Presley was an honor that was not lost on you. That’s what you wanted to make clear to her as you and Austin entered Graceland for the first time. Priscilla was lovely and kind, making sure the two of you knew that these were big shoes to fill but that you had lots of support from her and the rest of Elvis’s family.

She took the two of you on a personal tour of Graceland and pulled you aside as Austin was given Elvis’s ‘56 Gibson to play for a photo op.

“So,” she gave you a knowing glance, “exactly how long have you been in love with him?” She nodded toward Austin.

“Wh—“ you stammered, blushing. “I’m not— we’re just friends—“ Your excuses faltered under her gaze, and you sighed. “Basically since the first day I met him… How could you tell?”

She put a hand on your shoulder, prompting you to look into her eyes. “Because the way you look at him…” she sighed, “that’s how I used to look at my husband.”

Your eyes widened as you took in the enormity of her statement. “I do… I do have feelings for him but I know that he only sees me as a friend. And I’m okay with that!” You said, adding the last bit more to reassure yourself than her.

“I wouldn’t be so sure, honey,” she said with a wink, then turned and walked off to speak with an assistant who had been waiting off to the side.

You turned your attention back to Austin, who at that moment had chosen to look up at you with that smile. The one that made your heart soar and break into a thousand pieces at the same time. He was absolutely glowing with joy. You shoved your feelings down for the moment and smiled back, choosing to appreciate exactly how incredible this opportunity was for both of you.

Priscilla’s words echoed in your head every day after that, but especially as you were filming Elvis and Priscilla’s first kiss. You and Austin had been talking in the days leading up to the scene, making sure both of you were comfortable with how it was going to go, and you were determined to be purely professional today.

You took in the set, decorated to look like a comfortable 50s bedroom. Between that and your costuming for the scene — a cardigan thrown over a pretty swing dress with your hair in low pigtails — you could almost feel yourself transported back in time.

Before you could lose yourself in that feeling, though, a slight commotion began erupting on set as Austin walked in.

Now, you weren’t a military gal by any means, but you could certainly appreciate a man in uniform. And appreciate you did, freezing as you took in his combed-back hair and sleek dark green dress uniform.

Austin’s eyes locked on you as he approached the set, widening just the barest amount.

“Wow,” he said as he came up to you, taking in the hours of work hair and makeup had put in, “You look… amazing.”

“You don’t look so bad yourself, Mr. Presley.” you teased, trying to hide your blush.

“Well thank you, darlin’” he replied, slipping into the Elvis drawl that was practically second nature to him now.

You thanked your lucky stars that Baz chose that moment to call for everyone’s attention so Austin wouldn’t see how that damn voice made you weak in the knees. At least that part will seem realistic, you thought as Baz began going over the scene.

You closed your eyes, sinking into the mindset of not Priscilla Presley, wife of music legend Elvis Presley, but just a girl in love with a boy. Your eyes flew open and you stepped onto your mark as Baz called “Action!”

“So then he says—“ you begin rambling about Priscilla’s— no, your parents, pacing around the room as you try to ignore Austin sitting on the floor near the bed, looking at you as if you’re his whole world.

It’s just for the scene, you think to yourself as you flop down on the floor next to him. “And then… they didn’t really have anything to say after that so I just came up here and went to bed.” you finish with a girlish smile.

You move through the scene, the two of you eventually ending up by the window facing each other.

“Well, I think if you can dream it you can do it,” you follow the script, squashing down the part of you that’s positively screaming at his proximity to you right now.

“You do?” he drawls in character, glancing quickly down at your lips.

You nod shyly, smiling “Yeah.”

Your gaze drops to his lips, then back up to his eyes as you channel every ounce of just-a-girl-in-love you have in you.

Your eyes lock as he slowly, slowly, slowly leans in. You hold in a gasp as your eyes close and your noses brush, his open mouth held a millimeter over yours for an agonizing half-second before he closes the gap, capturing your lips in what you’re sure is the sweetest first kiss ever caught on film.

Your hands come up to cup his jaw as the two of you pull apart, his nose just barely brushing yours. The camera moves over your heads as Baz calls “cut!” and your eyes flutter open, meeting his own blue eyes much closer to you than you’re used to, close enough you could count every freckle on his face if you wanted to. He blinks, then steps back as if just now realizing the scene’s over, your hands falling to your sides.

“Was that…” he clears his throat, glancing briefly at your eyes, then the floor, the wall, the curtain on the window, then back to you as if he’s unsure whether to make eye contact with you, “Was that okay?”

You try not to let your disappointment at his reaction show — disappointment? why are you disappointed? you knew he was all business about this — and nod reassuringly. “Yeah, it was— you were great.”

He opens his mouth as if to say something, but is cut off by Baz approaching the two of you. “Y/N! That was fantastic! Excellent work. Austin, I did have something I wanted to talk to you about…”

And you were left alone by the window, giving him a little wave as Baz led him away.

By the end of the day, you were back in your trusty t-shirt-and-jeans combo, exiting your trailer and ready to head back home, images of curling up on your couch with a pint of Ben & Jerry’s and a book already swirling through your mind.

You were halfway to your car when you heard a familiar voice calling your name. You turned to see Austin jogging towards you, waving his hand to get your attention. You stopped as he caught up to you, trying to ignore that his stupidly fit self looked as though jogging halfway across the parking lot was just a walk in the park for him.

“Hey, uh…” he fidgeted with the thin gold chain that was almost always around his neck (a vintage find, as he’d told you once), “I was gonna go grab some dinner and um… I was wondering if you wanted to join me?”

The “yeah, I’d love to!” slipped out of your mouth before you could think, and before you knew it the two of you were on your way to some secluded Mexican restaurant not far from set.

Moments later the two of you were sat at a table in the back of the mostly-empty restaurant, chips and salsa untouched in front of you. An unfamiliar awkwardness had settled over you since you filmed the kiss, and you hated it. You didn’t want this to change anything about your relationship with Austin and yet not even 12 hours later it had.

“Hey—“

“So—“

You both opened your mouths to speak at the same time and after some fumbling, you gestured for Austin to speak first.

“So, um,” he said softly, fiddling with the rings on his fingers, “I’ve been trying to figure how to say this for…” he laughed to himself, “for a while now, actually. But I knew after today… if I don’t tell you now I might not ever say it, and I don’t want to go through this whole experience without telling you and then wondering what might have been—“

He breaks off as you place your hand over his on the table, “Austin,” you smile gently, laughing at his almost adorable nervousness “get to the point.”

“Right, uh.” he smiles sheepishly, “Well, basically,” he takes a deep breath, steeling himself, “I’ve kind of had a crush on you for a while now and I just… wanted you to know.”

You blink, stunned.

“And I totally understand if you don’t feel the same, and I apologize if this made you uncomfortable,” he says hurriedly as he pulls his hand away from yours, misinterpreting your stunned silence. “It’s just after the scene today, I couldn’t…” he trails off, saying softly “I couldn’t keep that to myself anymore.”

“Austin, no, I—“ you shake your head, reaching for his hand again, “I’ve been completely in love with you since pretty much the day I met you.” You finish shyly, looking up at him through your eyelashes.

“Wait, seriously?” It’s his turn now to look stunned.

“Yeah,” you shrug self-consciously, “I’m honestly surprised you didn’t notice, I thought I was being pretty obvious this whole time. I mean, even Priscilla picked up on it when we went to Graceland,” you admit.

“Is that what she was talking to you about that day?” his eyes widening in understanding

“Yeah,” you reply, somewhat confused, “I didn’t realize you saw us, I thought you were focused on that incredible guitar.”

He blushes, “It was, uh, kinda hard to keep my eyes off you that day. You looked… absolutely gorgeous.” He clarifies, “You always do, really. I’m surprised you haven’t caught me staring, in all honesty.”

You blush and look away from him. A moment of silence settles between you before his fingers nervously grab at yours. You let his fingers intertwine with yours and bite your lip in an attempt to calm your smile.

"I know our first kiss was technically in character," Austin starts quietly, "but I would really like to kiss you as Austin now, if that's alright?"

You look up, meeting his eyes. “I’d love that,” you say softly.

He smiles, moving his free hand to cup your face as he leans across the small table and gently presses his lips to yours.

Your toes curl and you pull away with a smile, looking into his eyes in silence for a moment before a giggle escapes you.

“What?” he asks, amused.

You shake your head, “Nothing it’s just… Yola’s going to be so disappointed, she thought I wouldn’t tell you how I felt for another month at least,” you admit with a laugh.

“Well, I have to say,” he laughs, lifting your hand to his lips and pressing a kiss to the back of it, eyes sparkling, “I’m not all that sorry to have disappointed her.”

••• 2 years later •••

Sitting in the dark SUV, on your way to the Cannes Film Festival in France (you still couldn’t quite believe it), worst-case scenarios began to take shape in your mind: Despite having stressed about this for weeks with your boyfriend, they would say this was a terrible mistake and you actually weren’t supposed to be there, you’d trip and fall in front of hundreds of fans and industry icons during the biggest moment of your career, you’d—

“Hey,” Austin’s voice reached through the anxiety clouding your mind as your car pulled up to the red carpet, “Y/N. You’re gonna be fine, baby. I’ll be right there next to you, right?”

You nodded as you let out a deep breath, squeezing his hands in yours.

“And hey,” he said, “You know I’m just as terrified as you are, right? So we can be terrified together.” He half-joked, the look in his eyes betraying just how true his statement was— this was his first big role, possibly the biggest one anyone could have. Of course he was nervous.

You leaned over to peck his cheek, swiping at it with your thumb as you pulled away to make sure you didn’t leave a lipstick mark behind. “You’re going to be amazing, Austin,” you say sincerely, smiling, “They’re going to absolutely love you.”

“Not as much as I love you,” he says, a mischievous sparkle in his eyes.

You burst out laughing, anxiety mostly forgotten for the moment. “You’re so cheesy, oh my gosh,” you sigh, a bright smile on your face as you take in how handsome he looks: a black tux, blue and white flowers pinned at his lapel, his favorite gold bracelet hidden under a sleeve, sandy hair just on the sexy side of imperfect.

The door opens, and Austin steps out first, turning to offer you his hand. “Shall we?” he smiles.

Smoothing down your dress one last time, you take his hand in yours and slip out into the most important night of your lives.

••• several months later •••

“And here we have Austin Butler and Y/N L/N, stars of the upcoming Elvis biopic in theaters June 24th,” the interviewer starts with a bright smile “Austin, Y/N, thank you for joining us today.”

“Thank you for having us,” Austin says graciously as you chime in with a “We’re very happy to be here.”

“Now, I’m told that you two are an item?,” the interviewer asks, brow raised, after the usual questions about the filming experience during COVID, visiting Graceland, the standing ovation at Cannes, etcetera.

“That’s right,” Austin says with a shy smile as you glance over and squeeze his hand, “We don’t talk about it much,” he gives the interviewer a meaningful glance, “but I will say that we actually got together during filming.”

“So romantic!” the interviewer all but squeals, “Almost as romantic, I’m sure, as the love story we see between Elvis and Priscilla in the movie, which you all can see—“ they choose that moment to segue into the closing promo, repeating the release date and thanking the two of you once again for being there as the cameras are cut.

“Don’t get me wrong, baby,” Austin says after you’ve finally arrived home after a long day of interviews that all blur together, pressing a kiss to the top of your head, “I love you and I love showing you off, but I wish those interviews didn’t make such a big deal about it.”

“I know,” you sympathize, leaning against him on the couch of your shared apartment, “I get that it’s gossip or whatever that’ll get clicks on the video but there’s so much other cool stuff they could focus on, like your singing! Your voice is amazing, honey, but all they care about is ‘Oh the two romantic leads happened to get together while they were filming’” you mock in a high-pitched voice, smiling as you hear a laugh escape him.

“I don’t really care what they say, honestly,” Austin whispers into your hair, wrapping his arms around you and pulling you close, “As long as I have you, I’ve got everything I need.”

oh my goddd this means so much to me, thank you!! <3 I’ve actually never been asked this question before, and i’m more than happy to answer anything xaragaard related!

I don’t even remember the pinpoint reason i started liking the ship, but a big inspiration (and probably the pinpoint inspiration actually but i’m too chicken to admit it) was probably this one animated video i found on youtube a few years ago by bluegirlstarlette that was like “omg what if xara and ellegaard met”

i don’t even think i watched this video at first, i just looked at the thumbnail and something clicked in my 14 year old lesbian brain and i thought “wow they would be a cool couple actually”. Which is funny because not only in this video, but with every single mention of Xara and Ellegaard, everyone seems to have the same opinion of “oh they’re related somehow because they sound and look the same/they both work with redstone” which i always have the strong urge to shut down immediately but hhhfjdhdjdj that’s a whole other can of worms i don’t feel like opening. To me, they’re wives and that’s that.

I’m not exactly sure what drew me to the idea of Xara and Ellegaard as a couple in the first place. I would say it was because they’re such different people and i’m a sucker for polar opposite couples that compliment each other, but they’re only different on a surface level if you don’t think too hard about it. Ellegaard is a stable, hardworking, and sometimes arrogant genius who is able to run an entire town while also working on insane projects. meanwhile Xara is fresh out of prison, and is very bitter and aggressive. not a very stable woman, but she’s very smart when she wants to be. her stubbornness just gets the better of her sometimes. put these two together? absolute perfection! Ellie is able to ground Xara and teach her that she is more than her emotions, and Xara teaches Ellie that she can relax every now and then and that there’s more to life than just working yourself to death.

Like i said, they seem like (and pretty much are) polar opposites, but they have a lot more in common if you look just a bit deeper. below the iceberg, you’ll find that besides practicing redstone, they’re both just two introverted older women who get too caught up in their own heads sometimes. They prefer to do things themselves instead of letting other people get in the way and making things more complicated. They’ve both encountered the dreadful experience of having friends drift apart first hand. They’ve both seen a close friend die in front of them. It’s all there.

The idea of Xara and Ellegaard finding each other and being given a second chance at life in their middle ages, slowly learning how to love themselves again by loving each other, being able to heal one day at a time from all they’ve been through as long as they live those days out together, that’s what i think makes xaragaard work so well. they can find comfort in familiarity, and become better people because of it. if not for everyone else, then for each other.

tell me about arcee + her relationship to optimus 👀👀 i looove their dynamic in the end of exrid and the optimus prime ongoing

Omg yes!! They're so good!!

Arcee's first notable interaction with Optimus is after Dark Cybertron where she asks to tag in on the mission to Earth and asks about Hardhead. Optimus apologizes for forgetting that she and Hardhead were friends and neglecting to tell her about his death, to which Arcee responds with a defeated smile, saying that everyone forgets about those things.

The thing to keep in mind is that at this point everyone still sees Arcee like some crazy murder lady, even the people Arcee thought she had a connection with don't believe her capable of things like friendship (even Arcee doesn't think herself capable of that), so Optimus acknowledging her relationship and apologizing is sort of the best Arcee has gotten at this point. I am aware that this is setting the bar on the floor, but still, Optimus agrees to let Arcee come with him and seems to not pay mind to her reputation.

It makes sense, Optimus is someone that wants to believe in the good in people and that they can change more than he actually does. He doesn't seem to have much experience with Arcee, but she approaches him with no malice so she takes her in good faith. Arcee has been struggling to try to change herself and find a way to help create a better world and I think Optimus appreciates that.

Optimus, it seems, likes Arcee a lot. He tasks her with keeping an eye on Prowl while he's absent from Earth and then seems to take her as a sort of right-hand-woman. After Prowl, Arcee becomes the de-facto Autobot leader when Optimus is not there, over the other Autobots that had been there from the beginning. This is a lot of trust to put on someone of her reputation that Optimus barely knows and who became an Autobot a couple months ago by way of deciding she was one and no one having the gal to deny her.

But Optimus justs seems to like people who aren't impressed by him (Windblade, Pyra Magna, Ratchet in a way, etc) and of course Arcee isn't impressed. She's older than the primacy, she met the original 13. Arcee doesn't idolize Optimus and neither does she antagonize him which are usually the only two camps in relation to him. She follows him because she wants to do good and there's not much she can do on her own, Optimus thing is supposed to be doing good and knows more about leading than her. She's willing to trust him that he means good, but she will also do her own thing when it seems fit and she's also keeping an eye on him because she's seen enough charismatic leaders to not how how easily they can sour. To her following Optimus is just a matter of practicality.

So they end up with this very interesting dynamic where they're both jaded people that don't know how to be vulnerable and can't really fulfill each other's emotional needs, but that nevertheless have an unspoken understanding as people who are trying their damn best in a good with no simple answers, so they can be honest with each other. Optimus takes Arcee by her word and doesn't see her through her reputation and Arcee doesn't expect of Optimus to be anything more than a mech. The mix of awkwarness, stoicism, trust and Arcee not taking any of OP's bullshit can result in touching moment as well as hilarous ones.

God, I wish so bad that Barber had given us more moments of them just talking to each other because everytime they do is gold. I want more of Arcee telling OP plainly to stop being full of himself, but also a more direct talk between them about the Cybertronian legacy and the place they have in it.

They are the key actors of Optimus Prime, the themes of their arcs compliment each other, the narrative would be incomplete if you took one out. Arcee has lived through all of Cybertron's bloody history. Optimus choose to embody that history. If Optimus' cause is "the future worth fighting for" he needs change to be possible or else everything he's ever done has been pointless. Arcee gives Optimus' struggle meaning because she is someone who despite everything managed to change with the force of nothing but the belief that a better world must be possible. Optimus takes on the Cybertronian sins and dies, killing the Primacy with him, so that everyone else can move on, and on a lower level, he directly tells Arcee to go an let him be the one that sacrifices himself so that Arcee can go back to Aileron and live the life that she didn't even thought she deserved.

Arcee doesn't go to Optimus funeral. Everyone else is trying to come to terms with teh complex, contradictory figure that was Optimus Prime, but Arcee doesn't need to. She has always seen Optimus as who he was, the good and the bad, and she knows what to do with his legacy, so instead she goes and tells the children a story. Optimus' final speech is delivered to us by way of Arcee as something that she knows he would have said because they understood each other through their shared hopes.

I think they could have been good friends had Optimus lived, but things couldn't be that way. Regardless, their relationship was a bit rough, but meaningful.

hey, just wanted to tell you in case you didnt know, germany had a mandatory military service for men (Wehrpflicht) till july of 2011. You could opt for a civil service, but especially before 2000 it was unusual to do so (only 'hippies' did so). The length of the military service could be from 9-18 months, depending when you were born and after you could choose to stay in the military and make a carrer out of it.

My dad did his in the 80s and from what he told me there wasnt to much to do for all the guys so they got a lot of pointless little jobs and he acctually gained a lot of weight in his time there, make of that what you will.

Im not telling you this so say you should change some of your COD OCs backstory stuff, you can do what you want with them and i like them regardless, but i thought you might want to know (unless you knew all this already, then just ignore this message)

ALSO!! i'd like to clarify for others that the [OC dump lore post] last night; the Delta Commando are not COD OCs!! they're part of my original story called "BEFORE GOLIATH" (one i never bothered to finish LMAO), but their stories are technically aligned with real life events w/ somewhat supernatural elements, so yeah!

Awww shucks! It’s such a long story but I’ll try to keep it brief❤️

MEETING ROHAN CAMPBELL AT HALLOWEEN 45

I went to Halloween 45 JUST for him mostly. I was walking around and when I got near his table it all became so real. I started freaking out (in a good way) to my mom Michele Dawson(Nurse Deb) and Rohan saw and heard it all😖

First meet

When I first went up to him I apologized for potentially scaring him and was rambling on and on about how cool he was. He told me it was okay and how he was happy to meet me. He called my Laurie cosplay awesome and while he was signing his autograph he said “This is so cool”. He had the biggest smile ever☺️ I then asked him for a hug and he gave it to me!! Twice actually (Once when I first met him and second for a photo). He told me “It’s really nice to meet you” as he hugged me.

Second Meet

I went to his both a second time because I forgot I wanted him to take selfies on my phone. I go up to him and he asked me how I was doing. I then asked to hold his hand and he said YES! I held his hand and told him how good of an actor he was and how I could tell he’d do big things in the future and a bunch of other stuff like how I want him to be a ghostface and in more horror movies in general. I made sure do look him right in eyes as I did so. His eyes are so light it’s insane.

I asked if he could choke me for one of our photo ops. He was a little surprised but then said he couldn’t choke me but would get close. That’s what I wanted anyway. Then he goes around the table to do it and I was like Woah! I want it for the photo op! I appreciate how eager he was to do it tho.

Then I asked if he could take selfies on my phone and he happily did so! I told him to take as many as he wanted. I just wanted more than one and he took a bunch🤭 He apologized saying he took like 40 but I didn’t mind at all! Then he took a few selfies with me! In some photos we’re laughing but I can’t remember about what. It could be about my nervousness tho.

Photo Ops

I had 4 photos with him then 1 with him and James Jude Courtney. There’s not much to say about it. But he was such a sweet guy. When we did the heart pose I had to guide him and he said “Sorry you’re gonna get sick of me” and I was shocked he said that when this was his 3rd time seeing me. I told him I’d never get tired of him❤️. When I did the proposal pose, I told him I’m gonna propose and I want you to give me your beat reaction. I got on one knee and held his hand and he just bursted out laughing. I couldn’t see him well without my glasses but he was laughing so hard. Then for the photo with James I told them to fight for me! That one was so fun!

Rohan was the absolute sweetest and most gentle person ever! He never made me feel like I was too much and enjoyed my excitement. I can’t believe how nice he was😭

thoughts on Free! Iwatobi Swim Club

by your one and only casual anime watcher, who is now dipping their toes in sports anime

god, free! was amazing!

it's been a while since i enjoyed an anime this much, and i think this proves that i should watch more sports anime. all of the ones i watched so far were really good (sk8 the infinity and yuri on ice), something is up with this genre

so anyway, free!. i love swimming and water so it was already an ideal premise for me. the characters are all super likeable and have different sides to them. i wouldn't say they are perfect, but what i can give them, is that they all feel like genuine friends, who enjoy spending time together.

REI WAS THE TRUE MVP. this boy saw that the other three had problems with rin and went "alright, lemme fix this" AND THEN HE DID!! nah, for real tho, i think without him, rin's reconciliation with the rest wouldn't happen. i appreciated that rei did this not only for the sake of his team, but also for himself. i also liked that he openly communicated: "i want to know what happened between you, i am a part of the team and i don't want to be left out". maybe i haven't seen a good anime in a while, but i felt like this openess was really refreshing. i love him sm <3

BUT, i was scared shitless when this mf SWAM OUT INTO THE OCEAN AT NIGHT??!?!?! LIKE BRO. at the start of their training camp i saw where this was going, but i calmed down after makoto reassured rei, i was like "phew, crisis averted" AND IT WAS NOT. they all could have died and i was not okay. and then they just forgot. about that traumatic experience. cool cool

really, every character has something that i like about them. but my favourites are definitely rei and makoto <33

rei cause he is a sweetie, who likes pretty things, is overly logical but very in tune with his emotions and cmon, how could i hate him. he is basically me (i want his glasses). and makoto, cause. ya know. have you seen him??? cutie pie lil blorbo (ᵍʳᵉᵉⁿ ᶜᵒˡᵒᵘʳ ᶜʰᵃʳᵃᶜᵗᵉʳˢ,,,)

and the ending, omg it was so cute!! i was so hyped! THEY WON, and then they got disqualified, BUT THEY WON FRIENDSHIP. seeing rin smiling again with his friends brought tears to my eyes

from supporting characters i rly like Gou and Amakata! Gou is just so determined, supportive and unwilling to give up – she wanted to see her brother happy again and she made it happen! what a good sister <33 for ms amakata i thought she was super funny and sweet. her not always accurate quoting, sunny demeanor and how dead set she was on keeping her past secret lmao

all in all, i enjoyed this series a lot! time for free! eternal summer hehe

(also, when i started watching i was like hmmmm, yeah haru and rin, then in the middle i went on ao3, saw the haru and makoto fics and was like "HE???" like i didn't think about them before but now i can't stop! but i ship both and also all three of them, that would be fun. in the grand scheme of things it doesn't matter as much to me: i just enjoy the dynamics they have, regardless of if they are romantic or platonic; they all love each other is what im sayin <3)
