I am once again here to tell you about my fyp on TikTok not knowing what they should show me. Today I got a video from a person who doesn’t believe that rich people should pay more in tax and that he thinks it’s weird that a bank has decided to include pronouns on the staff name badges…

#this is why I laugh when someone made a video about them getting like a million videos about autism #with like lists of things that could mean you’re autistic and they were saying that he’s not #and that he’s just trying to watch like videos of cute animals or whatever #but all of the comments were like ‘’ omg no you should definitely listen to those videos because I also thought I wasn’t #but then I kept getting those videos and now I’m diagnosed’’#like so many people were acting as if the fyp is magic and knows things about you that you might not know about yourself #but it’s about what you interact with #like I get a lot of those videos too and I don’t interact or comment on those videos but they still show up #but I think it’s because I interact with a lot of ofmd content and a lot of people who post ofmd also post about autism #and then the algorithm picks up on that and thinks that because I like this thing and other people who likes that thing also posts about #THAT thing it messes things up #also as a side note can people stop try and diagnose people through the internet #be a safe place open for questions but to actually say that people should go get diagnosed #because of something that more or less all people do from time to time is not good for people who actually need those resources #it’s about how it impacts your life not if you occasionally do things that might be a sign of something you can be diagnosed with #do your research and advocate for yourself and others but please don’t mislead people #great scott my life is heavy
