this is my first time requesting here and im so nervous since the idea itself is so cheesy. could we have a modern au loser mizu who listens to "pasilyo" (a filipino song about wanting to get married so badly to someone; i highly recommend listening its so addicting!) and immediately thinks of her crush. thank you sm!

Peonies

"I told you, I don't plan on doing that. Stop trying to play matchmaker, Mama." Mizu grumbles into the phone as she agressively spreads butter onto a slice of toast.

Her mother called her up again, which is always...well, a bother. She just nags her about settling down, even if she's still in college, finding a good boyfriend, getting married, having kids and basically giving up on everything she ever wanted. This is the reason she could never come out to her mother.

These talks always makes her hate the idea of marriage. Why would she ever tie herself down? Plus, it's a stupid old tradition. Plus, it's not even legal where she lives. It's just dumb to even think about it.

"No. I'm just busy." Mizu shrugs as she bites into the toast, still holding the phone up to her ear. Her mom keeps scolding her about ruining the family's name if she refuses to get married.

After about ten agonizing minutes, she hangs up. She lands on her bed with a groan. And just when she thinks she found peace, her phone lights up with a notification. It's a text from a groupchat called Tea Party with Eeyore, which has Ringo, Taigen, Akemi, and you in it.

ringo: omgomg look!

ringo: *a picture of you holding up a full tray of freshly baked pinagong.*

ringo: she helped me with my pastry of the week!!!

taigen: what even is that?

ringo: it's a type of fillipino bread! i learned it in baking class today.

you: we even made a whole playlist of fillipino songs to listen to while we bake :DDD

ringo: yup. we got into the mood, if you will

akemi: ringo, sweetie, that could have douple meanings

ringo: oh

The name is a dumb inside joke from that one time Akemi came up with the idea that having blue as a main color and being grumpy is enough for her to be just like Eeyore. She remembers you laughed so hard when she contined this line of thinking and matched Taigen with Tigger, because they're both annoying It's only because of that she doesn't mind this whole thing. She loves your laugh.

Mizu had a crush on you ever since she met you. It wasn't a hard crush to develop, honestly. You were kind for no reason, had eyes with stars in them, always full of energy while wearing the brightest smile she ever seen. You were just generally lovely. She was sure Taigen also had a crush on you at some point, which always irritated her, even if she never planned on making a move.

Mizu was content with the way things were. She was silently loving you from afar while you shined your bright light on her withouth even noticing. You made her happy if you didn't know.

She rolled over to her side, and tapped on the link you sent to the playlist. You had great taste in music, so if you were able to vive to these songs, they can't be that bad.

Then as the playlists starts playing, she hears a couple notes of an electric guitar, and she lightly shivers. Pasilyo was the first song. She never heard about it, but the melody quickly captured her.

She stared up the ceiling and she imagined you and Ringo listening to this song. She imagines you accidentaly spilling flour all over yourself, getting some on your face as you laugh, and she imagines her hand softly wiping it off. She imagines you sitting infront of the oven, staring at the growing pastry dough as it bakes, and having that bright and excited smile on your face when you succesfully decide that yes, it has gotten bigger since the last minute you checked. You'd look at her with big doe eyes when she tells you that it's time to do the dishes afterwards, singlaing how much you don't wanna. And of couse, she'd wash them instead of you, without hesitation. You'd hug her from behind as she does them, and hum the song in her ear, rocking your hips with hers playfully while your soft cheek is squished against her shoulder.

She sudenly wonders if that's how married life would look like with you. Damn, Mama has gotten into her head. But she doesn't mind it if it's like this. Would getting married really be horrible if it was with you? She decies on a firm no. You'd be the loveliest bride.

A bride she'd love to tie herself down to.

You'd stand there, at the altar, wearing all white and holding a big bouquet of daisies, camellias and lakspurs...maybe even peonies.

Yeah...definetly peonies. There would also be peony petals on the floor, scattered across, and one in your hair. Behind your ear...or one holding up your veil.

You'd smile when you see her on the other end of the aisle, like you see your future in her eyes. Your eyes would focus only on her, and your hand would squeeze hers for comfort as she says her vows. She'd kiss you with all her might in that moment. She'd pick you up and carry you away while you both laugh into eachothers faces.

She'd wake up to you every day of the week. To your soft cheeks squiched up against the pillow, your hand around her, and your breathing tickling her skin. She'd never want to get out of bed. She'd wake up hours earlier just to cuddle your sleeping form.

When you'd stir, you'd look into her eyes with your still hazy ones, and plant a good morning kiss on her forehead. In return Mizu would kiss your cheek, then your nose, then your jaw...then your neck, then your chest...

She'd put her hands on your breats, softly squeezing them as she teases them through your thin pajama top. She'd want it to be casual, domesticated, but still so, so exciting to make love to you.

She'd slowly get on top of you, and get lost in the way you're looking up at her. She'd slowly lift your top, and press her knee between your legs. Oh, how'd you tremble. You'd look up at her all needy, she'd have no option but to help you.

Her tongue would softly curcple your nipple, dry lips wrapping around it to trap it, all for herself. Her hand would slowly find it's way inside your pajama pants, long fingers sliding through your lips. She'd toy with you slick, because she knows it's there because of her. She'd bathe in the feeling of your clit pulsing for her before sliding her fingers inside, massagnig your inner walls. She'd coo in your ear, because you're just so precious when she's inside you like this. You turn into a ragdoll, and you can't do anything but whimper for her. You'd depend on her, especially in moments like this.

She'd give it to you every morning. She'd never hesitate to obey every command your body gives her.

Then she'd watch you make breakfast with your ears still red from getting taken by her so early in the morning. You'd sit in her lap while you'd eat breakfast. She'd feed you pieces of her bacon, and you'd give her bites from your egg. She'd give small pecks to your soft lips, to kiss away droplets of coffee.

She gets torn out from her daydream though by another text. She looks at it through half lidden eyes.

ringo: we made too many :(

taigen: that's what u get for always going overboard

you: mizu !!!

you: do you want some? i think you'd love pinagong!!!

Mizu smiles to herself as she reads the text. Maybe she isn't fine with how things are right now. Maybe she does need to make a move.

mizu: yeah

mizu: omw.

Maybe...she could stop by the flower shop and get some peonies.

Just maybe.

omg... u will regret asking me abt shinee i love them SO much. im ignoring the fact taemin just showed up on my playlist (highly recommend all of the shinee members solo stuff!!! i can absolutely give recs for my fave from each member even tho minho has like two songs to him rn but theyre both good fdkhdshf)

i always say taemin is my bias (hes adorable AND funny like... king stop my expectations are too high-) but i think im truly ot5 because all of them are so important to me. they were the first kpop group i ever listened to forever ago (sherlock (clue + note) is a legend and i love her so much), and i think dropping off shortly after getting into them (which would have been around 2015 because it was the time view came out) and then picking them a little over a year ago was genuinely like... something that really helped me out of a shitty place + hurt because i had missed the news about jonghyun entirely. but even then, i think its made me appreciate him and everything he's done so, so much. i won't get sappy but i truly love jonghyun so much and i'm glad he's no longer hurting. it'll always piss me off when people reduce him down to his death and nothing else because he was such a good person.

moving on from that before i get too emotional... i genuinely just love shinee a lot. i watched one of the shinee world concerts (IV i think?) earlier this year and its amazing how talented they were and still are. shinee truly helped pave the way and inspired so many idols and i adore them. its also fun to just watch them interact, tbh. i don't genuinely ship anyone because i find that weird, but minkey as a (platonic) pair are my faves lmao they always bicker like an old married couple but you can tell that they do love each other and are genuinely close friends.

and jinki!!! onew my beloved!!! i love him so much. he has such a warm presence and GOD his vocals... i die every time... coincidentally love phobia just came up on my playlist lmao but still!! highly recommend listening to DICE if u haven't!! the entire album itself is good but the title track is soo good <3 i always feel like i forget he's the leader of shinee because they're all so close-knit, it feels like they're all on completely equal footing even if jinki is the one leading them.

i didnt rly get into my love for taemin but genuinely i adore him. he's so, so talented both vocally and dance-wise, i love to see the difference between his stage persona (typically his solo persona lmao taemin and his slutty slutty music... <3) when he's really just this very sweet catholic man who apparently only really interacts with his group mates and a few others outside of that. he's so funny and i honestly admire every live he did where he spoke english and messed up and accepted his mistakes? like. learning a language is hard enough, especially one as fucking weird as english, but he just seems to eager to try speaking english and accepts his mistakes. i think he definitely has a very good support network both in the people helping him learn english (job-wise) and in having someone like key there to correct him (and maybe rib him a little bit--but it's all out of love). also i still think its really funny he broke into keys place to leave him a birthday cake and then proceeded to steal one of his jackets. stole my heart at the same time smh

i will stop here bc i still have two questions left on my final but !!! i will absolutely give u shinee recs if you want!! shinee has SUCH a good discography with only a few songs that are... not good at all lmao. but every group puts out some bad songs sometimes, especially when they've been around for a long time! nothing wrong w that! + i'll probs throw in recs from each member's solo career because i genuinely love a lot of their solo stuff as well <3

I was honestly quite hesitant to avoid connecting real things to the story (like, I do not know this man! I do not know a single thing about his personality other than him maybe getting a bit ™) but ehh I already added the nyc residency towards the end so why the fuck not? We are living our best lives here!!!!

Also, I recommend listening to Emotion (and side b!) because it is truly a pop masterpiece (I am a big pop music fan. Hozier is almost my exception tbh, but I do love most genres of music! I am just a pop girly to my core!), but if you don't like that stuff, at least give "Western Wind" a listen. To quote @icanttakethemonmyown , "She yassified Hozier's "Nobody"!" And she's right!!!! The intros are SIMILIAR!

I also heard "Call Me Maybe" in high school but then my friend showed me Emotion my senior year of college and my life basically changed. Kind of like how I only heard TMTC (and I think someone new??? I definitely heard that in a few coffee shops) but finally dived into Hozier's stuff in 2019 right after Wasteland, Baby! came out and, again, brain chemistry truly altered.

Sorry for this being... so fucking long as always. I truly do not shut the fuck up. Again, ask Anje. She has heard so many voice messages of me just going on about silly things (mostly to do with Andrew, but also other, sillier things).

Hey my dear glitch friend! I bet you didn't expect my sudden reply, but as I told you, things would get chaotic with my new office location and today I could finally get some rest.

My birthday gave me the right to get 2 days of rest from work today and tomorrow, thank goodness I was waiting for this day to come so fast! Not because it's my anniversary but because I really wanted to rest soooo badly! I worked so much this week and spending extra 3 hours per day stuck in traffic is the worst thing to me.. Thank goodness I convinced my boss to spend the rest of the week WFH.

Whoever came up with Glitch Mode, we surely sent some telepathic vibes of our friendship! You always come on my mind when it randomly comes out on my playlist.

More things happened since our last time we talked and NCT 127 anniversary made me feel a bit mushy, especially with Taeyong's messages, there was a lot to reflect and relate. Also it brought me back to 7th July 2019, when I saw them perform for the first time and we also spent their 3rd anniversary together in London. It was a beautiful happy memory but unfortunately..2019 ended up tragically for me, despite all the beautiful memories I collected through that year.

Because I can feel what you're going through, it was the same year my dad left us as well and it wasn't easy to get over it. Even these days I do think of the images I have stuck in my memory (it was a long fight and it didn't end up peacefully). I know I never openly talked about it here, because I would not stop crying once I would start writing my life story. I've seen lots of friends and people I follow here being more open about these things but I am the type to keep it for myself for a long time. Well I guess now that you talked about your hardships, you gave me the courage to open up myself.

I think the only one who can actually heal us is only ourselves and time. I couldn't find much comfort in other people's words and I know you must feel the same. On another note I wanted to encourage you to focus on things you love the most and hey! someone is debuting into cc's world! I think you'll catch up fast. When I look at my past creations, nothing looked pretty since the beginning, but I tried my best to satisfy myself until I could see positive reactions from other people as well. And it's sure, giffing was a huge source of self-healing for me. And I'm very thankful of thinking of my gifs as being the "next level" haha It already played on my head while I was writing it.

Once again I'm happy you felt comfortable enough to share your story with me. I will be around here for the next days, in the hopes we will get some pretty content soon to share. Sending you a big warm hug and lots of love ♡♡♡ Stay safe, don't skip your meals and keep hydrating yourself

Easily - Bruno Major: does this count as angst? ok call back to Kenma being an overthinker who overworks himself and probably overlooks his own needs at times, there’s bound to be some tension between you two at times. You’re concerned about his health and he insists he’s fine but you know he’s not, and while I don’t ever see him blowing up on you I could see little arguments about his self-care habits. Sometimes he stays up too late, or he’s stressing himself over something that doesn’t need that much thought! I was hoping someone would ask me this lmao and figures it would be you! It's actually one of the things that you live and die for." basically, it's a playlist of songs that came into my life at the right time, move me emotionally whenever I hear them, or that I think are pretty damn near perfection. It reminds me how much good there is in the world and how much art I've got left in me.

15. favorite book you read as a school assignment?

I just answered this for hazel so I'm going to give you one that I almost read for school, and then switched out of and read on my own because I was getting tired of waiting for my group to catch up on their chapters. Throne of glass by Sarah J Maas! I loved the first book and devoured it in a week, and then I got halfway through the second book and got bored of the love triangle. Maybe I should give it another shot, who knows.

ohh my god. okay. so. on my walk home from school I pass a tree that has a very pronounced change throughout the seasons. every time I walk past that tree, I tell it "I love you" and something nice that happened in my day, something I'm looking forward to, or something I need moral support with. It forces me to take inventory of my emotions in about 10 seconds and immediately brings the positives to the forefront, which is really nice! the tree does not have a name or a gender. it's just a tree. it's not even on public property it is fully Someone Else's tree but ykw. it's my friend

MXTX wrote the fall of Xianle so beautifully, I cannot do anything but praise it. I am so depressed and triggered rn. I mean I have this playlist that I listen to every time I read and usually I change it up, so suspenseful parts have more suspenseful music and other parts have ancient chinese music and stuff like the TGCF ost. Anyways, I had to turn it off cuz it was setting the horrific mood way too well and I'm like no, if I continue this, I will cry, and So I switched to the OST and I WAS LIKE SHIT SHIT NOPE GOD IM GONNA CRY NEVERMIND, so I switched to something completely random and listened to Ariana Grande's song side to side and the lyrics came: "I've been there all day, I've been there all night" AND I GOT TRIGGERED AGAIN CUZ IM LIKE OMG HUA CHEUNG WAS THERE ALL DAY AND ALL NIGHT AND HE SAW HIS BELOVED FALL BROO I NEED HELP
