Omg ok, so the best surprise happened to me today. My mom got me the Castiel cereal that Misha was actutioning! AND She got me a Cameo from Misha!! 😭😭 Plz my mom is too much I love her always!! 😭❤️😭❤️ Anyways after I opened the suspicious unabled UPS box and saw the cereal I started sweating with excitement and I literally had to stand outside in the rain to cool down 😭😭 and then she gives me her phone and shows me the Cameo Misha made for me! Omg I had to cool down so I went outside. But there's something you need to know. When I'm really happy I don't jump up or scream or cry or anything... I sweat. And let me tell you I was SWEATY! Omg it was so bad but it was so good because I was SO HAPPY. Here's the pic of the cereal(featuring my skeleton):

Apparently he sent the box later than planned and he also gave me an old signed GISH flag which I am SO going to hang in my doormroom!

Anyways that's all I'm gonna show because idk if if I wanna put the Cameo in this. I might make another post with that if people ask me too. Viva Las Vegas

I was telling one of my friends about Vegas and none of it was in order and most of it was a long stream of consciousness. I’m adding on a few things I hadn’t told her as well, so I apologize if this makes no sense.

Wednesday morning I was a thousand different kinds of antsy. I couldn’t wait to get to My Vegas roomie Jamie’s to pick her and other roomie Jackie up so we could get on the road. The ride to Kingman was filled with lots of laughs and my car even asked me if I needed a break (I wish I’d thought to have one of the girls snap a picture). We stopped at a great little 50s themed diner for lunch then headed to Walmart to pick up some supplies for the room. Shopping and shenanigans (and an appearance of “Heat Of the Moment) put us a bit behind schedule, but after a little car Tetris to get everything shoved in the trunk/backseat we were back on the road.

We got to the hotel with minimal time to spare before Con registration started so after a bit of luck that got us in the Ipanema Tower instead of Masquerade, I waited for the bellhop in the room while my roomies headed to the vendor room and registration. Once we were all settled, we headed up to the room to chill. @mrswhozeewhatsis and @torn-and-frayed joined us for a bit and then once my friend Anastasia arrived I went and talked with her for awhile. At this point in time I was pretty drunk off my ass, so how I made it to her floor and back I will never know.

Thursday morning was Day One of my FIRST EVER SPN CON! I’m not gonna lie, I was lukewarm about Adam Rose heading into Vegas (I had to Google him for crying out loud) but he won me over. Hell, the entire cast won me over even more than they already had! All weekend long! Also, I should have known what I was in for when the whole Clay Dicks thing started first thing Thursday morning. 😂 😂 😂 😂 Thursday night was Game Night and…it’s all fun and games until Tahmoh sits down at the table while you’re playing a very risqué game.

Friday I had my pushing my own boundaries moment when my roomies talked me into signing up for karaoke…and we got picked!!!! I sang. In front of people! Thank God it’s so noisy there that nobody can actually hear you. Plus, fat girl ran. Damn Matt. But, hey, we got extra hugs from Christian and Lisa!

On to the other random, out of order, stream of consciousness stuff about photo ops and autos...

Honestly? *I* didn’t say a whole lot to anyone. I was still nervous and shy. When I went for my Rob/Rich op I had the picture of what I wanted on my phone, but the screen went blank when I tried showing them, so I had to hit the button again. All kinds of embarrassing for me. So that was the only time I tried using my phone to explain an op. I managed to use my words after that.

So when we went in for our R2M, I managed to tell Rich “I’m your prop, do whatever you want with me.” Next thing I know I’m getting turned around and “Okay, you’re going to be reaching for Rob like you’re going for him and I’m going to be pulling you off him” Me: “Okay…”

I had NO CLUE how that was going to turn out. It was amazing. So for any and all future Cons, any ops involving those guys I’m just letting them do what they want.

Rachel. OMG, RACHEL! She is the definition of a beautiful person. I went in and had my unicorn and she was like “How cute!” So I told her to smell her (she had a scent sachet in her) and she did, so Rachel was like “She smells amazing. You look amazing!

I mean…WHAT?!?!

Then Saturday Anastasia and I did a GISH op. She made hat unicorn horn things out of kale. KALE! And MISHA wore one. Then, after our op, he accidentally knocked mine off. Kale and cilantro everywhere. He apologized. I was mortified. Good times 😂

I kinda started panicking a little when Misha first walked in the room and I saw him, but Anastasia told me “GISH in, GISH out” and made me breathe.

At SNS… I don’t listen to Louden Swain, so I didn’t know any of the songs, but I was still enjoying it. But then Jensen came out on stage. I was okay at first, then it hit me. That was really Jensen on that stage. I was seeing him live and in person. I was actually hearing his voice. That’s when the “seeing Hogwarts for the first time” tears started.

Saturday night was bad for me. Going back to the room my roomie started watching the video she’d taken at SNS and I started crying again. 2 years almost of watching Con videos and dreaming of going to one myself and I was finally there. I was seeing them in the flesh. Then once we got back to the room, I had more tears. The “I can’t do this” tears. The “I can’t make them stand next to someone who looks like me and act like they are happy to be there” tears. Thankfully my other roomie talked me down from it. But, I still cried on and off through the night.

Sunday… OMG, I swear to you, my brain started shutting down in that photo op room. It happened a little on Saturday with Misha, but with Jensen? I remember thinking “He looks a lot darker/dimmer/more faded than I was expecting.” I realize now that my brain was probably blacking out. But hot damn that man is even more gorgeous in person. I told him I wanted a really tight hug, so he wrapped his arms around me and hugged.

The next op I had was J2. I couldn’t try and word with Jensen again, so I went to Jared and told him double squishy hug with me hugging him. So he all squatted down and wrapped his arms around me and hugged. I gotta remember next year to tell him full height. I wanna feel short for once in my life 😂

My Jared solo I did a back hug and I had my Sammy Moose with me. I barely remembered to lay my own hand on Jared’s, but I did it! 😂 He is just…that man is amazing. The world really doesn’t deserve him and I’m not sure how we all for lucky enough to have him.

So, after the J2 panel, my friend Amanda and I split a Mishalecki op. I got to watch her other op she did with a friend and…OMG, it was amazing. I was going to have her explain to them both what we were doing, but I managed to word with Misha and told him “Okay, I’m going to be hugging you” and he started wrapping both arms around me, and it was really hard for me to want to make him stop, but I had to be like “No, she’s gonna be holding your hand and I’m gonna be holding his” and it turned out perfect!

I was nervous for my Castiel ops, because that angel means the world to me. First I told him I wanted Casifer. I wish he had been looking at ME instead of the camera, but it still turned out perfect! I’ll just do it again next year and tell him to look at me. Then for my second one I told him protective hug. It was good, but not *quite* what I wanted. I should have said “tight hug” or “squishy hug”. It’s on the list for next year too.

The only other thing of note was the autos for both Rob and Rich. I was able to word best with them. Rob asked how I was doing and I told him I was great and that it was my first Con, so he asked if I was having fun and I said yes, to which he replied “That’s great.”

Rich also asked how I was so I told HIM I was good and that it was my first Con and I was having a blast. He was like “I like to hear that.” And then I told him I couldn’t wait to do it again and he was like “I like to hear that even better.” I don’t know why, but I was able to word the best with those two.

I thought the ride home on Monday would be a lot more subdued than it was, because none of us wanted to leave, but…no. More laughter and shenanigans the whole way home. All and all it was an AMAZING weekend! 10 months until Vegas Con 2020 and I can’t wait to do it again.

if you're still up for indulging my rambles here's a new thought i had last night while watching ep 2 of fromis' from 2 meals, when jiwon messed up cooking the noodles and was being down on herself but jisun and saerom were quick to reassure her: omega jiwon with her alphas saerom and jisun. jiwon is so bright that she draws everyone around her in with her childlike excitement and seemingly endless supply of energy. her alphas, especially saerom, are guilty of occasionally egging her on and participating in her antics, but more often, saerom and jisun are content to watch from the sidelines, keeping a close eye on their little omega who shines as bright as the sun. but jiwon is human, and she's fallible, so there are moments where her light seems to dim and she doubts herself. she tries to cover up her disappointment by laughing it off but all her jokes fall flat, coming out as self-deprecating admonishments rather than her usual excitable humour. late at night, jiwon is lying with her head on jisun's lap and saerom is sitting next to them, stroking jiwon's hair. everyone is ready to pass out, bellies full with all the food they made for dinner, clothes still smelling of the barbecue smoke. "i really messed up in the kitchen today, huh? jiwonnie is a bit of a klutz, can you forgive her?" jiwon says it with her aegyo voice, looking every bit like a little duck with an exaggerated pout on her lips. saerom and jisun humour her with little chuckles. they don't even need to glance at each other to know what the other is thinking - typical jiwon, trying to play it off again. saerom raps a knuckle gently against their omega's forehead in reproach, but she makes up for it immediately after with the kiss she presses to jiwon's hair. "jiwon-ah, you did great. the noodles were still delicious, as if you couldn't tell with everyone wolfing them down at lunch," she scoffs, though there's no bite to the statement. jisun, who's been silent this whole time, hums in agreement, cupping jiwon's chin in her hand so she has to look up and make eye contact with her alpha, and for a moment, jiwon looks heartbreakingly vulnerable. "just...tell me i'm good?" saerom and jisun's hearts squeeze in their chests. jiwon, with her face free of makeup, wearing a t-shirt so big for her that she's almost drowning in it, is their baby. their omega to love and protect and cherish. "of course, baby. you're so good, and you did such a good job today," jisun says, kissing the palm of jiwon's hand. saerom has so many things she wants to say to jiwon - i love you, you're amazing, you light up every day for me, you make me want to be a better friend, lover and alpha - but she settles on "good girl," and the way that jiwon's eyes crinkle and her cheeks flush let saerom know she made the right choice. later, after jiwon is all tired out from saerom and jisun attacking her face with a relentless flurry of kisses, jisun softly offers to teach their omega a new recipe on their next free day, and even though there's still that self-doubt that lingers in the recesses of her mind, jiwon knows there is no judgment from her lovers.
